Just let Kanye be Kanye

The mainstream press is reporting that Kanye West has abandoned conservatism and turned on Trump. Here is one of his tweets.

"My eyes are now wide open and now realize I've been used to spread messages I don't believe in.  I'm distancing my self from politics and completely focusing on being creative!!!"

Some conservatives are chagrined and angry, given that it comes off as a rebuke after an impressive gathering of young black conservative leaders in Washington, and the issue itself revolves around the design of a political slogan, "blexit," and a t-shirt. Leftists, meanwhile, are mocking and gleeful. What a wonderful comeuppance for conservatives, to think a black superstar could see anything out there the same way they do. My Take - Poor, poor baby!  Oodie booodie boo!  The poor little muff muff, was "used".   Exactly what messages was he being used to promote, and what didn't he believe in?  Who knows!  Now let's see a show of hands from the ranks of the sane of how many are surprised or shocked at his brand new loonism.  He's a loon, just like Rosanne, both are certifiable.  It's just good both of them impoded early, and we should thank both of them for being themselves as quickly as they did. 

The message to take away from this for the women in my reading audience - you're not married to him. 

As for conservatives being angry at Kanye - my 93 year old mother has a phrase that fits this scenario: "This falls under the category of who gives a s__t!"
