Campus police at University of California, Irvine will in the near future refer anti-Israeli event disruptors of a May 3, 2018 pro-Israel event to Orange County prosecutors, according to a UCI spokesperson. Referral will occur, says the spokesperson, as soon as the campus police investigation concludes.
If so, UCI will be the second UC campus, after UCLA, to refer loud and raucous anti-Israel disruptors to prosecutors for violation of California’s statutes prohibiting disruption of public meetings, disturbing the peace, and conspiracy to do either.
After the police referral, it will be up to District Attorney Tony Rackauckas to decide whether actual prosecution should ensue. Rackauckas previously made history with the 2011 prosecution and conviction of the famous “Irvine 11,” who disrupted Israeli Ambassador Michael Oren in 2010 when he spoke at UCI.

My Take - Muslims must have studied under Saul Alinsky. Note some of the comments after the verdict in this case.
- "Absolutely unbelievable," Shakeel Syed, executive director of the Islamic Shura Council of Southern California, said of the verdict. "I believe the heart of America has died today.
- "This is clearly an indication that Muslims are permanent foreigners, at least in Orange County."
- Outside the court, the mother of Khalid Bahgat Akari, one of the 10, said the verdict shocked her. Lina Akari, 45, of Murrieta, said she had trusted the U.S. court system and had raised her son to relish the right to free speech. "I taught him that you can express your mind," she said. "I don't understand what happened. I said here you can have freedom of speech -- and look what happened."
- Among the comments shouted that night by the defendants in support of the Palestinian cause: "Michael Oren, propagating murder is not an expression of free speech!" and "You, sir, are an accomplice to genocide!"
- One said this prosecution was "unnecessary and it's harmful. It's unnecessarily divisive,".
- "Now this keeps it an open wound."
- The wound was opened by Muslims.
- As for being "unnecessarily divisive", they're the dividers....and we need to get that.
- The right to free speech was being challenged by Muslims.
- Free speech isn't an excuse to prevent other from saying what the think.
- As for Muslims being "permanent foreigners" in Orange Country - that was their choice caused by their actions.
- Israel defending itself against Muslim attacks isn't genocide.
- The "heart of America" didn't die with this verdict, the heart of America stopped allowing Muslims to run rough shod over the rights of others, which is what they really want, and what they really practice in Muslim dominated countries.
