Suing Into Submission

By Charles Battig

Eric T. Schneiderman by pursuing a strategy based on claimed similarities to the way tobacco companies were found guilty in 2006 of suppressing their own research showing tobacco being both harmful and addictive. My Take - Does anyone besides me find it strange that so many State's Attorneys General would all act in this manner at the same time?  I know .... I know..... there's no such thing as a conspiracy, but is it possible there's such a thing as an organized strategy?  Hmmmmm....is an organized strategy anything like a conspiracy?  Nah....can't be since we know there's no such thing as a conspiracy unless it's a right wing conspiracy - and then it's a "vast" conspiracy.

There's no way they will ever get this through the courts and just like Michael Mann and his SLAP suits against Dr. Tim Ball, which he lost because he refused to turn over his "dirty laundry" (his term) to the Canadian courts, and now fights diligently to keep his suit against Steyn from going forward - this is another contemptible scheme by the left to push forward that which can't go forward legitimately.  My question is this - if they've conspired - ooops - I meant strategized - to do this and it's clearly criminal in intent if not law - could this be construed as a RICO crime.  Suits are like riding a tiger.  You can't just get tired of the ride and climb off and say - I was just joking - and walk away unharmed.  I hope this goes forward because once this gets started all bets are off and all information must be presented - including Michael Mann's "dirty laundry"!  Then who knows - perhaps someone will go after these politically corrupt AG's, just like Nifong.
