Dershowitz: Impeachment Managers “Repeatedly Referred to ‘Truth’ While Lying Through Their Teeth”

By Craig Bannister | February 4, 2020

Democrat impeachment managers “persist in their deliberate lies, claiming that I argued that a president can do anything – even commit crimes – if he believes his election is in the public interest,” Harvard Law Professor and Trump Defense Counsel Alan Dershowitz said as Democrats made closing arguments in President Donald Trump’s Senate trial.

In the first of a series of Monday night tweets, Dershowitz called out Democrats for willfully distorting his comments to the Senate, which he followed by posting video of his actual remarks:
“The House Managers in their closing argument persist in their deliberate lies, claiming again that I argued that a president can do anything — even commit crimes— if he believes his election is in the public interest. That is a willful lie, as watching my answer will prove. (MTC)”.........To Read More.....

Shifty Schiff: Pelosi Withholding Articles of Impeachment Seems to Be Working

Beth Baumann  Jan 05, 2020

Democrats are quick to say President Donald Trump is impeached. Even though the House of Representatives voted to impeach the president, Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) is holding onto the articles of impeachment. Trump isn't officially impeached until those articles are sent to the Senate for the trial.

Pelosi has repeatedly said she plans to withhold the articles of impeachment until Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) can guarantee a so-called "fair" trial. And by "fair" the Democrats mean allowing additional witnesses to come forward and testify. McConnell has repeatedly said he will not meet her demands and he's in no rush to hold the trial........To Read More....

Chairman Nunes CRUSHES Schiff’s Memo With Point by Point Refutation

Gateway Pundit February 25, 2018

On Saturday, Democratic members of the House Intelligence Committee released their rebuttal to the Nunes memo. The counter-memo claims “FBI and DOJ officials did not ‘abuse’ the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) process, omit material information, or subvert this vital tool to spy on the Trump campaign.”

Some of the key points in the Dem spin memo via Zerohedge:
  1. The Steele Dossier was not the catalyst for launching the Trump-Russia probe
  2. The rationale for surveilling Carter Page was carefully weighed.
  3. The Nunes memo used classified information selectively and included distortions and misrepresentations
  4. Papadopoulos’ role as the original catalyst for the Trump-Russia investigation outlined.
  5. DOJ’s FISA application was carefully vetted and wasn’t used to spy on Trump or his campaign
  6. Steele’s information about Page’s contacts with Kremlin insiders like Sechin was consistent with Papadopoulos information
  7. DOJ was transparent with the court about Steele’s role and why he had reliable information
  8. Nunes memo’s references to Ohr are misleading and the Strzok/Page texts are irrelevant.

Catherine Herridge: House Dem Intel Memo Contradicts Corrupt Former FBI Director James Comey Testimony (Video)

(Gateway Pundit) – Yesterday the Democrats on the Intelligence Committee released their FISA memo. It includes many contradictions, including going against what former FBI Director James Comey testified under oath. The Democrats’ FISA memo claims multiple sources corroborated elements of the anti-Trump Steele dossier; Catherine Herridge reported at FOX News that the Democratic memo in […]

Worse Than Watergate: Part 3 — The Schiff Memo

Democrats scramble to misdirect in defense of their own as the Nunes memo remains unrebutted.

Jed Babbin February 26, 2018

On Saturday, Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA), ranking Democrat on the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, released his memorandum in an attempt to rebut the Republican memorandum that HPSCI Chairman Devin Nunes (R-CA) released on February 2.

As I wrote on February 5, the Nunes memo describes the FBI’s and the Department of Justice’s abuses of their law enforcement powers to spy on the Trump campaign and its advisors during and after the 2016 election.

The Schiff memo is cleverly written, making several assertions by which it attempts to confuse and misinform on the issues. It flails and fails in Schiff’s effort to discredit the principal findings of the Nunes memo.

The key points made by the Nunes memo are..........To Read More....

House Intelligence Committee Votes to Release Democratic Memo

Cortney O'Brien | Posted: Feb 05, 2018

The House Intelligence Committee has unanimously voted to make the Democratic response to the FBI surveillance memo public. It is now on its way to President Trump, who has five days to decide whether or not he will block its release.

Chairman Devin Nunes and committee Republicans voted last week to release their memo on surveillance abuses at the FBI during the 2016 presidential election. The document details how the FBI abused FISA to spy on Trump campaign associates such as foreign policy advisor Carter Page.

The Democratic rebuttal, written by ranking member on the committee Adam Schiff, reportedly includes some important context about that FISA warrant that the Republican version omitted. The Nunes memo is four pages, while Schiff's is 10 pages........To Read More....

My Take - This should be interesting since as time has shown and as Tucker Carlson has pointed out - Schiff is a notorious liar.  The adventure continues.
