WHO Pandemic Treaty Comes Up for a Vote

State sovereignty vs global healthcare.

An amended draft of the WHO’s pandemic treaty and proposed International Health Regulations (IHR) will be considered at the World Health Assembly meeting in Geneva from May 27 to June 1. Once presumed a shoo-in for passage, the treaty and regulations have encountered dramatic push-back from member nations. This has included strong opposition in the United States at the state and federal levels. Key concerns include sacrificing sovereignty, collecting deadly diseases for international sharing, and transferring wealth and property rights to developing nations under the guise of equity. The grand hopes of the WHO may have exceeded the grasp of member nations.

The purported goal of a solid international pandemic treaty was to organize world “stakeholders” and governments to better prepare for a future pandemic. However, the plan has expanded to incorporate many controversial add-ons, including ubiquitous calls for “equitable” redistribution of intellectual property rights, technologies, vaccines and vaccine products, legal expertise, financial assistance, and even debt relief, with no mechanism to actually make these things happen.

The Zoological Angle

Equitable redistribution of property is just one hurdle of many. The treaty also embraces a “One Health” transition that incorporates plants and animals into regulation and monitoring, and the collection and sharing of potential pandemic diseases throughout the world in a network of biosecurity laboratories linked yet again to equity – poor nations and their doctors and researchers will have increased involvement in lab research and disease collection.

The treaty and regulations propose to seek out, identify, and study every conceivable “pathogen with pandemic potential.” This includes international monitoring and potential jurisdiction over farming practices and biosecurity measures. Article 12 of the latest draft pandemic treaty, ironically titled “Access and Benefit Sharing,” proposes to share the “benefits” of isolating and then widely distributing deadly pathogens:

“1. The Parties hereby establish a multilateral system for access and benefit sharing for pathogens with pandemic potential: the WHO Pathogen Access and Benefit-Sharing System (PABS System). 2. The PABS System aims to ensure rapid, systematic and timely access to biological materials of pathogens with pandemic potential and the genetic sequence data (GSD) for such pathogens….”

This proposed PABS is cause for many global citizens and their nations to balk at the WHO super-treaty. There is mounting evidence that the COVID-19 pandemic was unleashed by a sloppy laboratory conducting gain-of-function research. The WHO pandemic treaty and regulations whistle on with the narrative that Chinese customers in a live animal market were the disease’s origins, claiming a globalist technological repository for potential diseases must be created. But if COVID-19 was manufactured in a lab, the last thing the world needs is an exponential upscaling of nefarious gain-of-function research.

Open Borders and Universal Healthcare

Potential signatories may also pause at pandemic treaty plans to amplify human disease surveillance. Open US borders have ushered in the rampant spread of once-conquered diseases, including measles, polio, and tuberculosis. It is difficult to sell increased disease tracking systems when traditional immigration disease screening has been jettisoned by social justice ideology.

The treaty also binds all signatories to provide universal health coverage, (Article 1 (m)), which reads in part:

“… all people have access to the full range of quality health services they need, when and where they need them, without financial hardship. It covers the full continuum of essential health services, from health promotion to prevention, treatment, rehabilitation and palliative care ….”

Universal healthcare is a contested partisan issue: is this a treaty on which only Democrats can comment, or are Republican voices about the high costs and inefficiencies of a universal healthcare system permitted? Are illegals guaranteed universal healthcare?

The current draft pandemic treaty bites off more than any internationalist group can hope to chew. Its problem now is not vaccine hesitancy but a hesitancy to cede undefined – and, potentially, unlimited – power to an agency that has not cleaned up its numerous failures – and that problem isn’t likely to be fixed any time soon.

It's up to states and counties to fight the World Health Organization

There is an urgent immediate need for specially crafted county ordinances and state laws to protect American citizens from the totalitarian dictates of the international World Health Organization (WHO).  As early as May 2023, due to a voluntary loss of U.S. sovereignty by the Biden administration, the WHO will have authority to dictate medical practice and treatments in America under WHO-declared pandemic situations, which can be manufactured at will by WHO supporters and intermediaries.

In other words, WHO "elite" leaders and supporters (who include the Chinese Communist Party) will be able to dictate what American physicians, hospitals, health care workers, etc. can and cannot do during a pandemic.  It is well documented that the so-called global "elites" plan to establish a one-world government (the "Great Reset") primarily through the health dictates and mandates of the WHO.  For all concerned patriotic Americans, this is an untenable development that must be fought tooth and nail............To Read More....

Reaffirming Ukraine’s Sovereignty and Territorial Integrity at the UN

The UN General Assembly will convene soon to discuss Russia’s planned annexation of four Ukrainian regions. With many non-Western states wary of taking sides, Ukraine’s friends would be wise to seek affirmation of sovereignty and territorial integrity principles rather than condemnation of the Kremlin.

The UN General Assembly will meet in the second week of October to debate Russia’s attempt to annex the Ukrainian regions of Donetsk, Kherson, Luhansk and Zaporizhzhia. Assembly members will also vote on a resolution, tabled by Ukraine and its allies, rejecting Russia’s move. The resolution is a chance for UN members to reaffirm Ukraine’s sovereignty within its internationally recognised borders – and also the UN Charter’s clause prohibiting “the threat or use of force against the territorial integrity or political independence of any state”.

These basic principles of international law may sound simple enough, but the vote will also be a test of how non-Western states view the seven-month-old conflict. As the war has dragged on, Russia has tried to persuade African, Asian and Latin American states that Moscow is their natural ally. In a 30 September speech at the ceremony marking Russia’s purported annexations, President Vladimir Putin claimed to be engaged in an “anti-colonial” struggle with the West. Ukraine’s allies have made the same argument in reverse, painting Russia as an imperialist and colonialist power. The forthcoming UN vote will give some indication of which narrative has found greater traction. But only some: many non-Western countries do not want to take either side in this crisis – numerous speakers at the mid-September high-level session of the General Assembly called simply for an end to the war – making the diplomatic manoeuvring around the resolution that much more sensitive and difficult.

Ukraine and its friends at the UN should not frame this resolution as a test of non-Western powers’ loyalties, lest that tactic backfire, with nervous UN members opting to abstain. Instead, the resolution’s backers should make it clear that their text aims primarily to restate and reinforce the UN Charter’s core principles. My Take - Clearly this is an attempt to thwart Putin's claim the areas he's conquered want to be part of Russia and have voted that way, which then leaves him the excuse to use tactical nuclear arms "in defense of Russia".  Will this pass?  Considering just how corrupt this body is, it's most likely this will no more pass than did the effort to investigate China's murderous human rights abuses against the Uighur Muslims in China.  

What would it take for the White House to commit treason?

It seems inconceivable that the Executive Branch of the U.S. federal government could be guilty of treason.  It is even difficult to write the words.  Yet the White House's latest plans indicate that it is conspiring with a foreign entity against the best interest of the American people with intent to subvert our representative form of government.

A number of prior actions by the Biden administration directly harmed rather than helped the U.S.  These injurious executive decisions include suppression of domestic oil and natural gas production (note current gas prices); opening the southern border to a massive wave of illegal immigration, deadly drugs, and human-trafficking; fabricating a COVID scam that destroyed public trust in Washington; mandates that nullified the Bill of Rights; printing trillions of fiat dollars; abrogation of rule of law causing the current crime wave; and promotion of anti-white racism CRT (Critical Race Theory).

While all these actions hurt the American people and are frankly anti-American, they do not satisfy the definition of treason: "betraying one's country, especially by attempting to kill the sovereign or overthrow the government."  But what the White House is currently planning behind closed doors may be a different story............ "The WHO is an agency of the United Nations founded in 1948 with 51 U.N. countries as signatories, including the U.S.  The WHO seeks the "attainment by all peoples of the highest possible level of health."  Its constitution clearly defines its limited advisory function as follows: "governments [not the WHO] have responsibility for the health of their peoples."  Article 1 in the constitution impels WHO to "assist governments" and "provide necessary aid ... upon request."

In 2016, with the failure of WHO advisories to stop an Ebola outbreak in West Africa, the WHO changed its role from passive guidance to active, controlling participation in public health matters wherever it chose.

When COVID began to spread, the WHO repeatedly distorted, spun, and fabricated medical data and suppressed any information that might dispute the Big Lie: the false claim that COVID is a global existential threat when, in fact, it is merely a new flu.  The WHO director-general, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus of Ethiopia, refuses to investigate the source of COVID, though such research is a primary function of the WHO.

On March 24, 2022, the WHO released a Concept note titled "Strengthening the Global Architecture for Health Emergency Preparedness, Response and Resilience."  The WHO plans to take an active role across all national lines for "population interventions ... clinical care ... countermeasures & supplies ... emergency operations. ... Governance [by the WHO] to bring greater coherence ... Financing [for the WHO] that is predictable and adequate [as determined by WHO to be assessed from signatory nations.]"

These powers that the WHO wants to take on contravene its own constitutional limitations."

Biden’s Plan to Surrender U.S. Health Sovereignty to ‘Corrupt, Chinese Communist Party Entity’ World Health Organization Draws Fire

Many constitutionalists, lawmakers, and healthcare professionals are sounding the alarm over the Biden administration’s plan to forfeit the United States’ decision-making power over its healthcare policies to the World Health Organization (WHO), an organization Representative Chip Roy’s office (R-TX) calls a “corrupt, Chinese Communist Party (CCP) entity.”

In January 2021, Roy introduced HR 419, which seeks to end U.S. taxpayer funding of the WHO, an agency of the United Nations. However, in recent days more lawmakers have signed on as co-sponsors, since proposed amendments by the Biden administration’s Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) to the WHO’s International Health Regulations are scheduled to be voted upon May 22-28 at the World Health Assembly.

The amendments seek to surrender the power of the United States to declare and launch its own response to an infectious disease episode, within its own borders, to the authority of the United Nations bureaucracy.

CCP’s Mekong River Belt and Road Projects a Faustian Bargain, Says Expert

Renowned expert hydrologist Wang Weiluo has likened Belt and Road deals between countries along the Mekong River and the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) as Faustian bargains, saying that while they bring investment they are deals with the devil that hurt livelihoods.

Speaking to the Hong Kong Epoch Times, Wang said that the dams on the Mekong River are destroying the ecological environment and directly threatening the development of fisheries and the livelihood of tens of millions of fishermen in the Mekong River basin.
