The most famous late-night comedian of all time, Johnny Carson, used to have skit called "Carnac the Magnificent," whereby, clad in a turban, the soothsayer would ordain the future by first giving the answer, and then the question. Embedded visually below, but only for comic amusement, is one of Johnny's schticks. Unfortunately, however, while Carson was a genius, and funny to boot, our former director of the FBI, one James B. Comey, was neither smart, humorous nor honest during his tenure. In fact, we have now learned more about just how corrupt, dishonest and criminally minded he is.

As revealed Thursday by Sens. Charles Grassley and Lindsey Graham of the Senate Judiciary Committee and reported by Katie Pavlich of Townhall:

"According to new transcripts released by the Senate Judiciary Committee Thursday, former FBI Director James Comey made the decision not to refer then Democrat presidential candidate for prosecution long before ever interviewing key witnesses. Members of the Committee allege Comey made the decision months before FBI agents were finished with the criminal investigation into her criminal investigation into her mishandling of classified information during her time as secretary of state.  Continue Reading.....

"According to the unredacted portions of the transcripts, it appears that in April or early May of 2016, Mr. Comey had already decided he would issue a statement exonerating Secretary Clinton. That was long before FBI agents finished their work. Mr. Comey even circulated an early draft statement to select members of senior FBI leadership. The outcome of an investigation should not be prejudged while FBI agents are still hard at work trying to gather the facts," the letter, signed by Chairman Chuck Grassley and Committee member Lindsey Graham states. "Conclusion first, fact-gathering second—that's no way to run an investigation. The FBI should be held to a higher standard than that, especially in a matter of such great public interest and controversy."

"It is unclear whether the FBI agents actually investigating the case were aware that Mr. Comey had already decided on the investigation's outcome while their work was ongoing. Today, Larry Klayman, the founder of Freedom Watch and a former federal prosecutor, announced the filing of a lawsuit against the radical leftist hate group Antifa in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California. The complaint, which bears civil action no. 3:17-cv-04864-MEJ, is embedded below and can also be founded at www.freedomwatchusa.org. The University of California at Berkeley, the scene of much of this leftist violence designed to destabilize and tear down our democracy and destroy the nation, was also sued, along with its police department, which have stood by on orders and allowed this violence to be perpetrated. The plaintiff in this suit is Kiara Robles, a young gay woman who simply wanted to attend and listen to a speech by Milo Yiannopoulos, another gay person and conservative commentator, then working for Breitbart News. Instead she was physically attacked by Antifa and its hate-filled leftist storm troopers.

Klayman had this to say: "It's time that those who believe in free speech and non-violence stand up for their rights and not cower to the hateful rhetoric and violence of the left — furthered and supported by the radical leftist media -- which are designed to take down the republic and install a "Bolshevik style" dictatorship. Sheriff Joe Arpaio is a true American patriot who I am proud to call my friend. He was also my client when he singlehandedly, in a lawsuit which I filed on his behalf, was the first to challenge the executive order of former President Barack Obama effectively granting amnesty to over 5 million illegal immigrants. We ultimately won this legal challenge, and deep-sixed Obama's illegal amnesty, the matter going all the way to the Supreme Court. The man has guts, and this is why he is called "America's Sheriff."

But last fall, Sheriff Joe was victimized by a political hit job at the hands of a federal judge in the district of Arizona. This jurist, G. Murray Snow, had previously told his wife that he would "destroy" Arpaio in a civil contempt lawsuit brought by the ACLU and its counsel Covington & Burling, not coincidentally the law firm of Eric Holder, Obama's former attorney general. The United States has added two aircraft carriers to the growing number of ships headed to the Korean Peninsula, The Daily Mail reports.

South Korea's Yonhap News Agency first reported that the USS Ronald Reagan, currently in Yokosuka, Japan, and the USS Nimitz, now under assessment in Oregon, will leave for the Sea of Japan next week. China and Russia have reportedly launched "spy vessels" to follow the ships, according to The Yomiuri Shimbun in The Japan News, citing unnamed sources in the Japanese government........Continue Reading.....

My Take - During the Vietnam War I served aboard the USS Chicago, a heavy cruiser that had been converted to a guided missile cruiser, in the Gulf of Tonkin. While there the USS Pueblo was captured by the N. Koreans and as our line period ended we were sent up to Korea to rendezvous with the USS Enterprise, at - if I remember this correctly - the 38th  parallel. We then proceeded to N. Korea far outside of Wonson harbor where the Pueblo was taken. 

The Admiral wanted to pick and choose his targets.  The problem with N. Korea is the whole country is pretty much a military installation and picking and choosing is difficult, and it turned out we were – as the N. Koreans touted – saber rattling.  And it may be so now. 

There're some big differences this time.  Russia's no longer a player in this game and the Chinese are far more concerned with international trade than they are with keeping the mad mini Mao in power.

But as the journalist said - We'll see!
