Bill Maher Thinks Abortion is a Good Thing Because Kids Are Expensive

Every once in a while Maher actually gets something right and the conservative media can't wait to tout it. In my view getting something right once in a while doesn't give someone a pass on the rest of life, as a result I'm loathe to link or quote anything he does get right.  I think he's just as evil as the rest of the left.   Recently Bill Maher came out saying those struggling with inflation should be the biggest proponents of abortion because kids are expensive.

In April I posted this piece, Defining Leftist Moral Boundaries. That's Easy, They Don't Exist!, noting he views abortion as a good thing because there's just too many people on the planet. So why not get rid of old people, retarded people, crippled people, and how about those who really irritate us?  Just like the Chinese who murder opponents and harvest their organs for transplantation.  After all, there just way too many people on the planet, so what's the big deal?   Right?

The fact is abortion has become the central focus on the left's campaign against conservatives. Here in Ohio that's an unending drum beat by Sherrod Brown. It's my view Abortion Is The Murder of The Innocent Unborn.

We're genetically coded to protect children, even with our own lives, and I think that applies to the unborn, and I also think most people believe that, at least on an emotional level, but find it intellectually difficult to overcome the drumbeat from the left and Pravda media, that murdering the unborn is healthcare, and is a special right exclusive only to women without any interference from society.   And we thought the pagans who threw their children into burning pits to appease Baal were sick and vile. 

If you can get women to believe murdering their unborn children is acceptable because it's a right, and it's "health care", there's no limit to vile things they will accept.

Who Will Be the Next Neoconservatives?

 As the country going through a cycle of leftist madness last seen in the 1960s, we can recall that a number of liberals woke up to the defects of their creed, and became the founding generation of “neoconservatives,” that is, liberals who had been “mugged by reality.” That original generation were mostly academic social scientists of one stripe or another.

Will we see a new generation of “neoconservatives” arising out of the present madness? And if so where will they come from? Probably not from academia, but from journalism (think Glenn Greenwald, Matt Yglesias, and even Jonathan Chait to some extent), and—dare I say or hope for it—Hollywood?

Exhibit One is lefty comedian Bill Maher, who, as we’ve noted before, has delivered several ringing attacks on cancel culture and political correctness in general. Last Friday he went off on liberals, the media, and their treatment of COVID. And surprisingly for Maher, this rant has fewer of his crude f-bombs, so I can give this one a PG-13 rating.

If he keeps this up, he’ll be voting Republican sooner or later. Given how many comedians are seeing the humorlessness of the left, I suspect many of them are going to come around, if they haven’t already...........To Read More....

 

You know Democrats are in trouble if Bill Maher thinks they're crazy

It's been fun cashing some of the dividends from the CNN Democrat debate.

First, the 2020 candidates have now confirmed that President Obama deported and separated families.  They didn't call them "concentration camps," but the photos are very similar.

This is going to be good for my next Spanish TV debate with a liberal Democrat indignant about the way people are treated at the border or Trump's mandate for ICE to pick up violating court orders.

Second, another big dividend arrived this weekend when Bill Maher of HBO said this:................ The Democrats won't listen to Bill Maher.  Don't be surprised if "The Squad" calls him another "white racist."  Didn't they call Speaker Pelosi a racist, too?.........To Read More....

My Take - Here's the key statement in this article:"........ 

....unlike them, Obama was smart enough to lie about what he stood for, casting himself as Mister Moderate and a sort of vacuous human palimpsest for anyone to project their own ideas onto to get himself elected the first time. The second time, in 2012, he went off against a real moderate (Mitt Romney), and with little to distinguish between the two of them labelwise, won as the devil the voters knew."

In short, he's not disappointed they're moving so far left, because that's where he is, where he wanted the nation to go and where he took the nation.  What he's disappointed about is they're not lying about it.  They're  true believers who proudly, and unhypocritically, expose themselves as the far left lunatics they, he and the Democrat party are.

Obama never did have any affection for the truth.
