The history of Americans who lauded Stalin included FDR, who also liked Hitler and Mussolini until the war. A number of “progressives “ went to the Soviet Union and came back with glowing reports such as Lincoln Steffens who said:
“I’ve seen the future and it works”.
Which of course it didn't, just ask the and tens of millions of innocent human beings who were sacrificed on the alter of Stalinism. Oh wait, you can't because they're all dead. This is a story the media ignored and even tried to make that truth a lie.
Walter Duranty, working for the New York Times, received a Pulitzer Prize for his articles about the Soviet Union claiming no one was starving to death, in spite of the fact that every reporter there knew otherwise, all the other reporters there knew otherwise, the NYT knew otherwise, and yet remained quiet, and make no mistake, the NYT has been a leader in fake news. We see the same lack of proportion and integrity from the media constantly. The media went after the commissioner (A man I have absolutely no respect for) of the NFL 24/7 because they didn't like the decision he made over a wife beater. I kept asking: What crime did the commissioner commit that justified such intense scrutiny?
Yet if you were to ask almost anyone about the Pakistani's who sexually molested children for many years in England no one would know what you were talking about, and that's just one small example. Outrage over small things while totally ignoring crimes so huge as to stagger the imagination.
The same holds true regarding the environmental movement. The socialist monsters of the 20th century killed over 100 million innocent people, and the environmentalism has probably been responsible for the deaths of that many and more, starting with the ban on DDT. That's a story that isn't being played 24/7! No, instead we hear about a non-crime that doesn't fit the leftist narrative with blithering leftist idiots demanding that Goodell resign. Why?
We're seeing the media tout Biden and his band of incompetents, pushing for more masks, more experimental drug vaccinations, more isolation, more government, more spending, more lies regarding the environment, and yet, nary a word about the economic policies he's promoting, the inflationary disaster that about to befall the nation, which is far worse than is reported, the massive spending bills, huge raise in taxes, the skyrocketing crime rates, and whose responsible for most of it, the huge number of negative reactions to these mandated shots that are not real vaccinations and are in fact experimental drugs, the corruption of science, how bad the Afghanistan debacle really was, and the overall disrespect the nation is suffering internationally because of the incompetence and corruption of Biden and his band of leftist misfits, not to mention the betrayal of allies, and public education is a disaster of leftist propaganda and corruption, including academia, in fact, especially academia.
Then there's Biden's foreign policy failures with China, Russia, Muslim terrorists and immigration disasters. What do we hear? We hear January 6th was an insurrection of such huge proportions we're fortunate America still exists. Yet the only one killed was an unarmed woman who no one can explain why she was killed, little or no property was damaged and no one was beat up, and virtually ignoring the Waukesha disaster, by a black activist. But, according to the media, the riots in Seattle and Portland were "mostly peaceful", with much of that "peaceful" unrest still going on. But that's different! You see, that's was being done, and still is, by hate filled, violent radical leftists, out to destroy the nation, so that made all that rape, violence, murder, brutality, theft and destruction of property democracy in action! Ergo, the media just had to defend that!!!
Imagine that!
We've lost our minds.
One more thing. There are people who actually think Chris Wallace was a good journalist, and his going to CNN+ (whatever that is) is going to hurt Fox News, and boost CNN. Really, in spite of the fact his ratings were in the tubes, there are those who actually believe that.
