Obama said:

"President Castro, I think, has pointed out that in his view making sure that everybody is getting a decent education or health care, has basic security and old age, that those things are human rights as well. I personally would not disagree with him. But it doesn't detract from some of these other concerns. And the goal of the human rights dialogue is not for the United States to dictate to Cuba how they should govern themselves, but to make sure that we are having a frank and candid conversation around this issue. And hopefully that we can learn from each other."

For these days I had read more than one confused report about Cuba’s health Care System and, specifically, one of its hospitals: CIMEQ, the place where Chavez has got treated lately. It is beyond this post to analyse his medical treatment, what I want to introduce you is what it is CIMEQ and what IT IS NOT. Cuba has two parallel health care systems as I had said in another post. One for its regular citizens usually lacking a lot of supplies, with Hospitals lacking medicine, paramedical supplies and with old equipments and superstructure; the other is the one you can see in Michael Moore’s documentary or even get in touch personally when a foreigner visits Cuba. CIMEQ belongs to this second kind of institution, as you can see even when you read the information in its website:.....
