Campbell’s Cans BPA in Cans: Science Loses Out to Marketing
From all of the hysteria that has been generated in recent years — mostly by environmental groups about trace amounts of the plastic component bisphenol-A, or BPA, found in human urine — you might think it was sarin gas, rather than a harmless chemical, that the soup maker has been using without incident, to line food cans with for decades. My Take - I'm not that impressed with these celebrities just because they came out whining to the world - don't blame me for my crazy antics - I'm nuts! Maybe I'm being unkind, but the fact of the matter is these 'celebrities' were parking cars, waiting tables, and pumping gas before they hit it big - and then all of a sudden they became experts on how life was supposed to be lived, pushing their views on economics, epidemeology, animal rights, vaccinations, climate change and a host of issues in which they're completely incompetent. And invariably they've been stunningly wrong. Wrong and promoting things that will be disastrous for humanity leaving devastation in their wake. Sorry - these people aren't A-OK! Doing one thing right doesn't give you a pass on the rest of life. I would just as soon they just said - I'm sorry I did and promoted so many stuid things - forgive me, and move on! The truth isn't unkind - it's just the truth.
