Some only care
about facts. Some only care about emotion. Facts are valueless without
application. Application without facts is hysteria. When you balance it all you
get something called truth.

Know the difference between compromise and capitulation.
That has always been the Achilles heel for the Republicans. In times past the left forced the Republicans to crawl to them to get crumbs while giving
away the store.
That’s over with.
There’s a new media that’s exposing the lies of the left, and they’re
ascendant. The propaganda from the old
media is meaningless since they’re dying, and the Republican leadership is no
longer afraid to challenge and expose their perfidy forcefully. There’s a new sheriff in town who doesn’t care
what the left and their myrmidons in the media say, and neither do more and
more members of the American public.
Finally, the term government shutdown is a misnomer.
There is no such thing as government shutdown. The trillions of
dollars the government takes in still keeps pouring in every month, and
they still keep paying out.
It’s my view the best thing that
could happen to the nation is Trump simply refuses to talk to the
Democrats at all, stop taking votes on this extension in the Senate
unless the Democrats come to them and plead for an end to this
“shutdown” and let it last until November 2026.

Let's not lose sight of the fact there are still some "Republican" Senators who demonstrate some strange qualities, Woke qualities, such as Senators Collins and Murkowski, and they're not alone. Often times they're joined by Senators McConnell, Tillis, and a few others on occasion. None of whom can be trusted at any time.
Rule number 21. If a friend
turns on you once, never forget, they WILL do it again.
So, let's get to the core of the problem and ask; why the Democrats are demanding new spending. Money we have to borrow, versus a clean extension of current spending, of money we have to borrow? Is it any wonder the nation is broke when any effort to curtail government spending, and the size of government is met with Democrat outrage
Let's start out with who the America public is blaming. The finger pointing is profound, but this time, it's the Democrats! Now, ya just gotta see the humor in that. The Democrats have a fallback position(s)
- Oh nooo, the sky is falling!
- We're all gonna die.
- It's for the children.
- It's racism, misogyny, homophobia, Islamophobia, xenophobia, and white supremacy.
Take your pick as they're memes are pretty much interchangeable, and whether any of that is rational of not is immaterial, and let's face it, this isn't your grandparents Democrat party, and the divide between Republicans and Democrats is now so broad there's no longer any common ground. It's insanity and violence versus stability and sanity.
Today, this is how the Democrat party is defined as "aggrieved, resentful, angry, neurotic, desperate, illogical, delusional, irrational, unchurched, the metaphysically uncentered, unattached, childless, anti-social, resentful, failures, congenitally rebellious.....the product, or rather
the detritus, of an anti-traditional, aggressively secular, excessively
technological, overly connected, trivialized and wholly commercialized
and urbanized society divorced from nature......"

Democrats are growing more violent and invective-filled in their language because they are losing the arguments.
How can common ground be found with a group that's stuck on stupid. A barbarian horde with "no values, no convictions, and
no principles, just a power complex...."
In times past the media carried the Democrat's water and managed to
shift the blame to Republicans on any issue that involved spending, of
the size of government....we're all gonna die... was the unending meme
from the left and parroted by the media. Well, Republican leadership is
slapping these media misfits right up along side of the head over their support of democrat lies, and are taking an aggressive stance in their media presentations, as has been done by Vice President J.D. Vance did exposing Democrat lies with Breitbart noting
how the Democrat leadership is unendingly trying to put the blame on
Trump, yet it's been the Republican who've voted to keep government
open, and the Democrats that keep voting it down, and even claiming
they're not wanting to give free health care to illegal aliens.
History,
time and truth are on the same side, and there's a lot of hypocrisy in
these Democrat efforts to avert the blame, but time, history are truth
are against them.

The current fiscal year (FY) ends on September 30 and according to the Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget (CRFB), "Congress has so far enacted zero of the 12 full-year appropriations bills to fund the government for FY 2026."
The Democrats demanded.... demanded mind you.... a meeting with the President, and initially he agreed, he canceled noting they demands were ‘unserious and ridiculous". So, what are they demanding exactly?
They're demanding over one trillion dollars in new spending for free health care for illegal aliens, taxpayer funding for transgender surgery for minors, leave dead people on the Medicaid roles, allow illegal aliens to rob the American public with benefits, open the borders to anyone who wishes to come here without restraint or restrictions, and allow men to compete in women's sports. Massive spending on pandemic subsidies forever, and this business over continuing support of a failed healthcare system. The reality is the top beneficiaries are the health insurers who are raiding the treasury, and the Democrats know that.
Schumer says it's trump's fault because he's not a leader, but a leader has to understand when there's no common ground and just say NO! The leader just said that!
It's now clear the Democrat party is being crushed by their stand, and it's also clear the federal government taxes too much, spends too much and does it badly, borrows too much, regulates too much and interferes in our lives entirely too much, all of which is being exposed by their shutdown demands, and we should thank them. It just might be the best thing they’ve done for the nation in modern history as this shutdown has the potential to restore America to true Constitutional governance.
As I've already said, it's my view the President should simply ignore the shutdown, shutdown a lot of agencies not being funded, and fire a whole lot of bureaucrats, most of whom are not only non-essential, they're a gigantic drain on the nation's economy.
So, what's the downside to all of this? For the Democrats it's massive exposing the real crisis isn't a shut down. The real crisis is:
when Democrats
are in charge with a blank check. The last time they held full control,
they spent trillions, fueled inflation that crushed middle-class
families, ignored border security, and let cities burn. ........This shutdown, by contrast,
highlights how shallow and cheap their politics have become. They don’t
want to debate crime, or immigration, or free speech on campus—because
they know they’ll lose. So they scream about “essential services” when
the only service they’re really desperate to protect is the endless flow
of subsidies to keep voters hooked.
The American people see
through it. They know their neighborhoods are less safe. They know their
campuses are less free. They finally have secure borders. And they know
that the Democrats’ definition of “free” means the bill is just waiting
in their mailbox......... if shutting down the government exposes waste, reins in
subsidies, and reminds us that life is better when Washington is
smaller, then the real danger isn’t in closing it down—it’s in letting
Democrats keep it open.
Finally Eric Utter, one of my favorite writers, notes the midterms are, thirteen months away, "13 months to save America. Thirteen months to save Western Civilization. Thirteen months to save the world."
