Meet the ISIS Bride Who Is the BBC’s New Hero and Martyr

The glamorization of Shamima Begum reveals the rotten culture of the far-Left establishment.

The BBC has rolled out a prime-time documentary as well as a superabundantly detailed ten-part podcast series on the story of Shamima Begum, whose path to celebrity has been unconventional. She has become the object of the BBC’s lavish affections by fleeing Britain to join the Islamic State (ISIS) at age fifteen, becoming a jihadi bride, showing no remorse for the atrocities of her jihadi friends and colleagues, and being consequently denied the right to return to Britain. 

As Rolling Stone magazine did with Boston Marathon jihad bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, The Times’ Saturday magazine has published a glamor shot of Begum on its cover to help publicize the BBC series. In the twisted culture of the far Left of which the BBC and Rolling Stone are foremost exponents, an Islamic jihadi who hates his or her home country is a hero, and any action law enforcement authorities take against the jihadi only enhances the warrior of Allah’s victimhood status, and thus in turn only magnifies the jihadi’s celebrity status in the West. Sick? Oh, that’s an understatement............

Back in 2013, when Pamela Geller and I were banned from entering Britain for the unforgivable crime, as far as the British elites are concerned, of opposing jihad violence and Sharia oppression of women, I happened to be working very early one morning. I saw the BBC announce on Twitter that it was going to have a show in an hour, about 3AM Pacific time, discussing whether or not Geller and I should indeed be banned from the country.

The “impartial” broadcaster had not, of course, invited either Pamela Geller or me to participate in the discussion, or made any attempt at all to contact either of us. My Take - Remarkable!   These young and foolish nitwits join these radical and murderous religious fanatics and then cry they want to go back to the very nations they were trying to destroy.  On January 12th I posted this piece, Stupid Decisions Have Consequences, about an American Muslim girl who did exactly the same thing this girl did and now wants to "come home". 

She chose this for herself, encouraging all Muslims to murder innocent people, well, we all make stupid decisions in our lives, and most of them aren't all that consequential, with small consequences.   But stupid decisions involving murder are consequential, and the consequences should be severe.  They all made their choices and now should be required to enjoy their hijab, niqab, burqa, misogynistic subhuman Islamic paradise, for the rest of their lives, however long it may be. 

This article doesn't say if she has children, which she probably does, as does the former American girl.  Well, then they chose for themselves and for their little ones, and their problems aren't our fault, nor our responsibility.  Save your compassion for those they murdered along with their families and friends.

No one will take any notice of this, but just imagine if the roles were reversed, which they would not be and should not be. If this is noticed at all, it will be written off as a harmless prank, just some kids having fun and blowing off steam. Only in the opposite situation would it be an international incident. In any case, this is the direct result of the hatred and contempt that official “Palestinian” media outlets inculcate against Jews and Israel daily.

Alan Dershowitz’s Failed Analogy: What If Kavanaugh Were Muslim

Whatever the context, accusations without evidence are worthless.

Last Thursday, Alan Dershowitz offered in the Jerusalem Post “a thought experiment” that he presented as the obverse of the Brett Kavanaugh controversy: “President Hillary Clinton nominates the first Muslim American to the Supreme Court. Let’s call him Amir Hassan. Republicans oppose him and accuse him of being a judicial activist. Then several witnesses place him at a mosque at which terrorism was advocated. He claims he went there to hear all sides of the issue. One witness places him in a terrorism training camp but that account is not corroborated. One final witness identifies him as the man who planted the bomb that blew off his leg at a demonstration. He categorically denies any association with terrorism.”
In such a case, Dershowitz argues, the Left would be rushing to defend “Amir Hassan” and call for evidence, while conservatives, he claims, would be insisting that we must “believe terrorism survivors.”

But is this really true?...........Alan Dershowitz doesn’t know the first thing about the nature of Islam or the magnitude of the jihad threat. A few years ago, I was on a radio show following Dershowitz, and the producer called me a bit early, while Dershowitz and the host were still conversing. I could hear them while I was on hold waiting to go on, and heard the host announce that I would be coming on right after a break.
