On Tuesday, Obama’s National Security Advisor Susan Rice admitted that she used the intelligence community to spy on members of the Trump team, but this type of behavior isn’t anything new.
In fact, it appears the Obama White House had been spying on its political opponents and leaking classified information about them long before Donald Trump won the presidential election last November, Lee Smith of Tablet Magazine writes.............. In other words, the Obama White House used Israel as an excuse to collect classified information on its political opponents via the NSA and then leak bits of this information to the news media in an effort to intimidate them. Smith writes......To Read More

Susan Rice Refuses to Deny Trump ‘Unmasking’ Requests — Despite Claiming Ignorance Just Weeks Ago
by Chris White April 4th, 2017
Former White House National Security Advisor to President Obama, Susan Rice, appeared on Andrea Mitchell Reports on Tuesday in her first interview since news broke that she was allegedly involved in the “unmasking” requests of Trump campaign and transition officials. Eli Lake reported for Bloomberg News on Monday that Rice was behind the requests to unmask the identities of members of the Trump transition team inadvertently caught up in intelligence signals intercepts...........

Since news broke Monday that the Obama Administration's National Security Adviser, Susan Rice, directed the "unmasking" of NSA intercepts of Trump associates, CNN has raced to shoot down the blockbuster report. CNN Tonight's Don Lemon went so far as to announce he would ignore the news at all costs. While interviewing a Democratic congressman, CNN's Chris Cuomo claimed it was "demonstrably untrue" Rice sought surveillance of the Trump team, even as that's exactly what yesterday's reports prove..........

Her interest was not in national security but to advance the political interests of the Democratic party. The thing to bear in mind is that the White House does not do investigations. Not criminal investigations, not intelligence investigations. Remember that. Why is that so important in the context of explosive revelations that Susan Rice, President Obama’s national-security adviser, confidant, and chief dissembler, called for the “unmasking” of Trump campaign and transition officials whose identities and communications were captured in the collection of U.S. intelligence on foreign targets?.......
Claim: Susan Rice directed spy agencies to create 'detailed spreadsheets' involving Trump

Joseph diGenova is a former U.S. attorney and a man of impeccable honor. I don't believe he would put out a false story, à la Susan Rice. The intrepid Richard Pollock of The Daily Caller reports:.......If this can be proven (and it sounds as though it was extensive enough that a cover-up would be difficult), a chilling crime was committed, weaponizing the universal spying capabilities of the national security apparatus against political enemies.........

Susan Rice is the Great Unmasker according to this reporting from Eli Lake: The National Security Council’s senior director for intelligence, Ezra Cohen-Watnick, was conducting the review, according to two U.S. officials who spoke with Bloomberg View on the condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss it publicly. In February Cohen-Watnick discovered Rice’s multiple requests to unmask U.S. persons in intelligence reports that related to Trump transition activities. He brought this to the attention of the White House General Counsel’s office, who reviewed more of Rice’s requests and instructed him to end his own research into the unmasking policy........If you don’t remember who Susan Rice is, a reminder:........

Susan Rice: the “Typhoid Mary” of the Obama Administration

Senator Tom Cotton (R-AR) had some very tough words for former National Security Advisor Susan Rice when he appeared on Hugh Hewitt’s radio show Tuesday morning. Their conversation focused solely on Cotton’s work on the Senate Intelligence Committee and the current storm swirling around Susan Rice, the Obama administration, and President Trump. Many of Hewitt’s early questions set the stage to really understand what is “normal” when it comes to the government’s ability to “unmask” American citizens and why that might happen. Cotton explained that the situation is highly unorthodox and that in his capacity on the Intelligence Committee he’s never seen anything like it. He then outline 3 major issue areas that the Senate is interested in getting to the bottom of: ............
