Un-vaccinated Priests Ratted Out By Their Own Bishop At The End Of Sunday Mass

COVID-19 Unvaccinated get ratted out everywhere by neighbours, friends and even family—but at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Lexington, Kentucky, two priests have been ratted out by their Bishop, John Stowe.

“Bishop Stowe of the Diocese of Lexington makes priest make the following announcement prior to the close of Mass-TheBasicCatholic.  Imagine the heartache of Fathers John and David upon having to make this announcement to their parishioners at the behest of their own bishop.  Imagine how sad the faithful upon leaving that Sunday Mass:

“The Bishop, has asked of Father David and I, Father John, speaking for Father John make an announcement that we are not vaccinated, so people can decide if they want to attend masses we’re celebrating.

“And also the priests, and this has been done throughout the diocese, those priests that are not vaccinated are to follow the COVID Protocol in the Liturgy and they are not allowed to visit the sick or elderly that are homebound.

“Father John and Father David again have not been vaccinated.

“Thank you.”

TheBasicCatholic who forwarded the video as a “MUST WATCH”, advised viewers: “Do yourself a favor and do a simple google search on Bishop Stowe and then pray for him. The lack of faith is absolutely heartbreaking. Pray.”

Bishop Stowe, In January 2019, wrote an op-ed that condemned Nick Sandmann and other students

Canada Free Press took them up on this advice and found that Bishop Stowe, In January 2019, wrote an op-ed that condemned Nick Sandmann and other students for sporting apparel supporting President Donald Trump during the 2019 March for Life rally in Washington, D.C. He said the slogan “Make America Great Again” “supports a president who denigrates the lives of immigrants, refugees and people from countries that he describes with indecent words and haphazardly endangers with life-threatening policies”. (Wikipedia)

“In March 2021, Stowe expressed support for the Equality Act, proposed legislation that the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishop opposes. He wrote that “As a Catholic bishop, I hate to see any form of harmful discrimination protected by law and it is consistent with our teaching to ensure that LGBTQ people have the protection they need.”

This is what Bishop Stowe Tweeted during Gay Pride Month in Lexington:

And now Bishop Stowe, like Pope Francis, a Jesuit at heart, is outing his own priests at the end of Sunday Mass.  We’d pray for the bishop, but pray instead for the two Catholic priests he ratted out.  In an era where the Joe Biden administration is turning the COVID-19 vaccinated against the un-vaccinated, in essence what Bishop Stowe did was to draw a bullseye on the vulnerable backs of two of his own priests.

Have Mercy on Father John, and Father David, Dearest Jesus.  Have Mercy on all the un-vaccinated.

The Unraveling of Wuerl’s Lies

Long before he concealed McCarrick’s misconduct, he had done the same for his mentor.

George Neumayr January 13, 2019

In the latest revelation about Donald Wuerl — that, contrary to his claims of ignorance, he knew about McCarrick’s misconduct for at least 14 years — he emerges as the amoral but self-protective bureaucrat, undone by his own pass-the-buck-style record-keeping, which gives a grimly ironic dimension to his downfall.
Wuerl’s policy wasn’t one of zero tolerance but of zero legal exposure, and toward that end he needed to keep records of complaints he had received and transmitted to the papal nuncio. One of McCarrick’s victims, Robert Ciolek, had the presence of mind to ask the Diocese of Pittsburgh to see a personnel file related to his settlement, which established his memory of events: that he had told the Pittsburgh diocesan review board about McCarrick’s predation, and that Wuerl, at Ciolek’s request, had spoken with the papal nuncio about the complaint.

Ciolek wasn’t permitted to make a copy of the documents in the file but he caught a glimpse of its most relevant section, which apparently left the Diocese of Pittsburgh with no choice but to admit Wuerl’s knowledge, as much as that must have pained Wuerl’s hand-picked successor in Pittsburgh, Bishop David Zubik. No doubt Wuerl is furious at Zubik for letting Ciolek gaze at those pesky paragraphs.............

The image of the Church this leaves is one of a hopelessly corrupt bureaucracy in which bishops hide behind the most minimalist pro forma actions while keeping known predators in circulation and then lying about it. Even if one were to take Wuerl’s latest statement seriously, he is conceding at the very least that he knew McCarrick had been accused of corrupting a priest. In a church where holiness is the first, not the last, consideration, a responsible bishop would have followed up on the matter and been greatly troubled by it. For Wuerl, Ciolek’s complaint was simply a matter of box-checking.............Wuerl’s career ends as it began under Cardinal Wright — as a reptilian climber and cold operator for whom duping the faithful became second nature......... Vatican Consultant Fr. James Martin Promotes Pro-LGBT Rosary

By Michael W. Chapman | December 7, 2018

Jesuit priest Fr. James Martin, an American who pushes a pro-LGBT agenda in the Catholic Church and who was made a consultant to the Vatican's Secretariat for Communications by Pope Francis, is now promoting a rosary (prayer beads) that includes a "rainbow" fifth decade for people to pray "for LGBT couples, their children, and extended families."

It further calls for praying that gays be fully accepted as "truly created in the image of God, a creation that God saw as 'good.'"

Fr. Martin has been denounced by many priests and laity for repeatedly misrepresenting Chruch teachings on homosexuality. For instance, Martin's 2017 book, Building a Bridge: How the Catholic Church and the LGBT Community Can Enter Into a Relationship of Respect, Compassion and Sensitivity, was described by Fr. Gerald Murray as "a rejection" of Church teaching and an attempt to claim that the Church "has misunderstood God's plan for human sexuality for her entire history.".......To Read More.....

Father Jenkins Doesn’t Seem to See the Problem

Notre Dame’s president has a soft spot for ex-Cardinal McCarrick.

John Singleton December 9, 2018

“The world needs a university that graduates men and women who are not only capable and knowledgeable, but who accept their responsibility to serve others — especially those in greatest need.”— Rev. John I. Jenkins, C.S.C.
As the father of a 2018 grad, I think Father John Jenkins gets it right with this quote posted on the University of Notre Dame website. Helping to serve those in greatest need should be a priority for all Catholic institutions because those in greatest need are often powerless to defend themselves.  Pedophilia is by definition an abuse inflicted by a person in power over a child. The sexual harassment of students in seminaries hinges on a similarly perverse dynamic. Yet when Father Jenkins spoke about ex-Cardinal Theodore McCarrick, the infamous abuser of children and students, in an exclusive interview with Crux Magazine on November 5, he seemed to abandon his spiritual mandate to defend the innocent and the vulnerable.

“There’s a tendency, and I don’t think it’s a helpful tendency in this kind of situation, to turn the perpetrators into monsters,” Jenkins said. “[The tendency is] just to imagine that they are thoroughly corrupt people, but the problem is that it’s not true. It’s a part of their lives that is deeply problematic, but another part that is not. And that’s why it’s so hard to identify the problem, and sometimes, that person doesn’t seem to see the problem.”............To Read More.....

The Catholic Church’s sex scandals reflect the Left’s long march through the Church

Amemrican Spectator September 3, 2018

New York Times columnist Timothy Egan chose to confront the widening scandal within the Catholic church — namely, the allegation that Pope Francis’s power base is a homosexual cabal within the Vatican, leading him to advance known pederasts — by asserting two things:

(1) The Church has a long history of Popes who deviated from church teaching on sex and
(2) Church teaching on sex is all wrong, because Jesus Christ never explicitly said “It’s a sin for two men to have sex with each other or for adult men to use male children and teenagers for sex.”

People more learned in Church doctrine than I have already addressed the second argument. Matt Walsh makes it simple:
I am not at the moment interested in discussing whether Christianity is right about homosexuality or human sexuality in general. The point is simply that Christianity does have a teaching on the subject, and, if you wish to be Christian, you can’t disagree with it. The Bible clearly condemns the homosexual act repeatedly, including in 1 Corinthians 6:9-11, Romans 1:26-27, 1 Timothy 1:10, and all across the Old Testament, most notably in Leviticus and Genesis. And Jesus Christ is quoted in two Gospel accounts explicitly defining marriage. He teaches that marriage is when a “man” and “his wife” come together and “become one flesh.” That is settled doctrine, right from the Son of Man Himself. It is not a liberal doctrine or a conservative doctrine. It is just truth. A Christian must accept that it is truth because it came from the One who Himself is Truth.......
While the Leftist assault on the Catholic Church in Latin America was economic, in Europe (and in the U.S.), which have wealthier and morally more decadent cultures, the communists attacked the Church with the most potent weapon of all: sex. There is no better example of this than what happened in Brussels, Belgium, where the Left-leaning church hierarchy aggressively and openly promoted hardcore pedophilia..................To Read More...
