Is Zohran Mamdani Really the Anointed One? Part IV

By Rich Kozlovich, Tags: Part I, Part II, Part III and Cartoon Roundup

Well, here we go with another round on the left's new Obama, who is supported by radical, young, grungy, white progressives, who are mostly female.  We need to raise the voting age to thirty, at least by that time they will have had some experience in life, matured a bit,  and hopefully got a bit smarter.   Who knows, they might have even read a history book or two by then. .... nah.... that's asking entirely too much from leftists, even former leftists.  That might destroy their preconceptualist views on reality.

Paul Dunlop says he's considering sending Mamdani a donation to help him win, because:

"there is no better sales pitch for conservative principles of governance than rabid, unfettered progressivism and the smoldering crater it always leaves behind".  Letting them "burn down this iconic American city, we can keep them from burning down the country again in 2028."

The man NYC Democrats have chosen to run their city is living up to the economic illiterate standards of his hero, Karl Marx, who lived off of the welfare of others, explaining how he's willing to sponge off his parents rather than hold down a job.  And this is the guy they want in charge of NYC budget?

So, let's start with this Marxist who wants to abolish private property, owns land in Uganda.  Land for me not for thee!  I'm shocked, shocked I tell you.  As Daniel points out any confiscation of land will end up in the hands of his friends, and stop seeing this in any other way than this is a war, and the Constitution is the target.

Nitwits of a feather flock together.  Pocahontas thinks Mamdani’s idea for government owned grocery stores is just a grand idea, since  according to her that's been successful in other states.  Really?  Name one! But then again, she thinks Obamacare was a great idea also.

There's a bit of a push back from some Democrat leaders, Rep. Adam Smith (D-WA) says Zohran Mamdani isn’t speaking for our party, Hakeem thinks Democrats will miss their shot at taking the House because of him... yeah right, he's the image of the Democrat base,  and Andrew Cuomo threatens to move to Florida if he wins.  New Yorkers cheered and Floridians panicked, as that would seriously impact the average IQ and sanity of two states.  Former Trump hater, and now Democrat hater, Michael Rapaport says 'Zoron the Moron' will never drive him out of NYC.  And given his history, the rest of the country is grateful.

James Carville, America's Gollum, says the Democrat party is a "leaderless.... cracked out clown car".  What he's really saying is instead of lying to voters, people like Mamdani keep telling voters who and what the Democrat party really is all about.

In a meeting with "Partnership for New York City", who represents the heart of the city’s corporate community", they came away with this conclusion.  He talks so much and says so little", yet it was obvious all this vile anti-capitalist, antisemitic, and intifada stuff he's spewing out is what he believes and what he'll promote.

Even Zohran Mamdani’s alleged ‘capitalism’ is a communist front - Zohran doesn’t like capitalism any more than Xi Jinping does. He is a communist seeking to burrow his way into our system, further rotting it from the inside. No one should romanticize this dangerous—although to some, charismatic—individual who swings back and forth between desiring a communist utopia, as a practicing Twelver Shia, a Muslim caliphate here in America.....

The left still clings to the insane idea that social workers can handle situations much better than police, therefore Mamdani says the police shouldn’t be wasting their time on domestic violence calls.  What criminals need, especially violent deranged criminals, is intervention and therapy, so he's proposing a “Department of Community Safety.”  Which has been tried and failed everywhere.  If he's elected we'll see the police abandon NYC , the crime rate will skyrocket, and people will be fleeing NYC like rats leaving a sinking ship.

It has been painfully obvious since the election the Democrat brand is shattered,  and if Democrat party is to survive they must abandon their Woke obsessions on gender, race, immigration, and crime, which they're totally incapable of doing, otherwise they'd be Republicans.  Mamdani is the image of the core party loyalists, an "unholy "red-green" alliance of Marxism and Islamism".

There are those who think he's beatable, and explain why, but unlike his contenders his campaign will be beating the bushes for every vote in New York City dragging every far left lunatic and Islamist to the polls to vote for him en masse.

I think he'll win, and if he does, he'll play a large role in sinking the Democrat party, but as J. Robert Smith says, so what? He says Mamdani’s election and the city’s subsequent fall will provide a searing lesson for voters everywhere.   This is especially true since this recent poll already demonstrates that most voters think Democrats are too radical.

Update 7/25/25:   Report: London Mayor Sadiq Khan Advising Zohran Mamdani on NYC Campaign - Khan, who warned in January of a resurgence of “fascism” in the West by way of a “virus of far-right populism,” has reportedly been in communication with Mamdani since he beat former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo in the city’s Democrat primary last month, sources told the publication....... his advisers have also been in contact with Mamdani’s campaign team..........“The primary race is very different from the [mayoral election]. He needs to moderate or he could lose the more centrist Democrats,” the source said.

My Take - In short, Khan's advice is Mamdani needs to lie.  RK

Is Zohran Mamdani Really the Anointed One? Part III

And the hits just keep right on coming!

By Rich Kozlovich, Tags, Part I, Part II, and Cartoon Roundup

Portuguese philosopher Baruch Spinoza once said, “If you want the present to be different from the past, study the past.”  History is everything, and everything we know about Mamdani's past, as well as his present, is highly disturbing.

Actually, I can't believe I'm putting out a third piece regarding Zohran Mamdani, a Ugandan carpetbagger and scion of a Marxist migration academic who's never held a real job and lived his life with a silver spoon in his mouth and is running for Mayor of New York City, who's running his mouth about the suffering of the proletariat, and who's extremism is becoming more obvious by the day.   But the hits just keep right on coming, so it seems I may have more parts to this story in the coming weeks, and this story has already exhausted me.

Are we riding the cycle of democracy? asks James Zumwalt quoting Lord Tytler saying:

A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the voters discover that they can vote themselves largesse from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates promising the most benefits from the public treasury with the result that a democracy always collapses over loose fiscal policy, always followed by a dictatorship. The average age of the world’s greatest civilizations has been 200 years. These nations have progressed through this sequence:

From bondage to spiritual faith;
From spiritual faith to great courage;
From courage to liberty;
From liberty to abundance;
From abundance to selfishness;
From selfishness to apathy;
From apathy to dependence;
From dependence back into bondage.

I've been a history buff for all of my life, and as I read about events realized people will always be people, and history is filled with patterns that repeat over and over again.  And it's happening now in America.  As the author goes on to say:

Mamdani is a snake oil salesman preaching what he knows his voter base wants to hear without them understanding the consequences of what is being promised—i.e., the cycle’s eighth stage of bondage that Tytler warns inevitably follows. New Yorkers who voted for Mamdani have selfishly sold their souls. And, as the author C.S. Lewis wrote, “Once our souls…have been given up, the power thus conferred will not belong to us. We shall, in fact, be the slaves and puppets of that to which we have given our souls.”

So, let's review who Mamdani is, and what he represents starting with:

Mamdani is absolutely antisemitic and a supporter, enabler, and apologist of Islamic terrorism.

There are more Jews living in New York City and it's surrounding areas than there are in Israel, and Mamdani hates them, wanting to drive them out of NYC and feels totally confident that publicly mocking Hannukah and Jews will not hurt his campaign. Zohran Mamdani "is a radical ideologue.... a dangerous provocateur.  He doesn’t build bridges—he burns them."  As Derek Hunter point out, obviously Mamdani hates Jews, he’s a progressive Democrat.  But that bond between Jews and Democrats is in deep trouble.

He's a supporter of a global intifada, which is a reference to a movements of rebellion, resistance, and popular civilian uprisings, and in this case in support of Islam, and when asked to condemn the ‘globalize the intifada’ term, he said it's not the job of the Mayor of NYC to police speech.  But this isn't an issue that's going away.  At an endorsement event with the American Federation of Musicians, Local 802 he was  asked to clarity his remarks about "globalizing the Intifada".  His aides "whisked" him off the stage, but he's on record saying the U.S. forced Al Qaeda leaders into terrorism.

Mamdani is a Communist

Is Mamdani a communist?   Well the Democrat supporting myrmidons of the media would have you believe he isn't.

  1. PolitiFact Desperately Wants You to Believe Zohran Mamdani Isn't a Communist
  2. PolitiFact Claims Mamdani Is No Communist; Mamdani Disagrees
  3.  Mamdani and ‘Fact Checkers’ Deny He Is a Communist, but His Own Words Say Otherwise

But if it walks like a duck, and it quacks like a duck, it's a duck.  So, if Mamdani calls for the city to seize luxury homesprivate property and homes, or investment property in order to house the homeless and create communes, then yes, Mamdani is a Communist.

  2. Marlow: NYC Mayoral Candidate Mamdani Preaching ‘Actual Communism’
  3. Zohran ‘The Cuddly Communist’ Mamdani Is Manufactured, Inauthentic
As I've noted before his grocery store plan is idiotic, and is another demonstration of his ignorance and the ignorance of those he's surrounded himself with as advisors.  In spite of the myth the left is promoting about Mamdani he's not a champion of the working man, he's just like all communists, he's insane.
  1. Government-Run Grocery Stores Won’t Lower Prices
  2. There Is No Such Thing As A Free Grocery Store
  3. Mamdani Thinks NYC Has the Money for Low-Cost Grocery Stores
  4. Mamdani’s Economic Promises are Unworkable Nonsense. That’s the Point

Much of what Mamdani wants to do is unconstitutional.  I'll tell you what, we'll come back to that.

Crime and Violence

Former Dem Advisor Says He’s ‘Almost Speechless’ At Mamdani’s Police Comments, and is it any wonder.  Here's how insane Mamdani really is.

  • Mamdani Blames Trump, Not Subway Arsonists, Corpse Rapers and Head Stabbers, for Tourism Decline-    Zohran Mamdani, currently running for mayor of New York City on a platform of taking everything that the DeBlasio administration did and tripling down on it........claimed that President Trump was responsible for the decline in tourism because he’s deporting illegal aliens. ........The illegal alien corpse rapers and subway arsonists may have more to do with the decline of tourism than Trump deporting illegal aliens. And Mamdani is proposing to triple down on freeing criminals, defunding police and harboring illegal aliens who commit horrifying crimes like these.
  • The Lawless Zohran Mamdani New York Democrats have chosen the far-left Zohran Mamdani as their candidate for Mayor. His extremist views are coming out, one after another. What I want to reflect on here is his lawlessness. Mamdani says that if Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visits New York, he will have him arrested: The obvious question is, arrested for what? ............
What about the police?  What are their views on Mamdani's election and his implementation of policies regarding policing that any sane person has to think are babblings of a lunatic.
  • Veteran NYPD Officers Signal Exodus if Zohran Mamdani Becomes Mayor - Veteran NYPD officers are signaling a possible exodus if radical socialist Zohran Mamdani becomes mayor of New York City.  Although Zohran Mamdani claims he will not “defund the police” or shrink their workforce, veteran officers are not buying the sudden, politically motivated reversal of his prior positions.  Experts worry that, with crime spiraling and a potential mass exodus of police, the city would face a total breakdown in public safety should he be elected.  During the 2020 protests following George Floyd’s death, Mamdani explicitly advocated for defunding the NYPD.  .............
  • If Mamdani wins, NYC’s police have no intention of dying in the name of social justice.- Zohran Mamdani, the Marxist-Muslim tapped as the leading candidate to become New York City’s next mayor, does not believe in the police. Instead, he believes in social workers. The police, in turn, do not believe in being handcuffed in their duties and exposed to a high risk of death in a city that no longer allows them to do their jobs. If Mamdani wins, they’re saying, they walk. In the lead-up to the New York City Democrat mayoral primary, Mamdani was very clear about his desire to rid New York City of the troublesome plague of active policing. Instead, he plans to shift the focus to social workers (which was, as you may recall, one of the promises of the “Defund the Police” movement). Jacobin, the hard left outlet, describes his plan in the most glowing terms:.........

Mamdani's  Family

How does a person come to such irrational views?  He actually comes from it naturally, he has radical roots from his father, who is a white hater and a lover of the BLM movement.

Funding and Support

It's interesting that Mamdani hates Billionaires and wants to rid the nation of them but he has no problem taking tens of millions of dollars from America hating billionaire George Soros.

Is there any limit to his hypocrisy?  No, he's a communist, and the only moral foundation they have is to do whatever it takes to get and hold power in order to impose their will on humanity, and are more than willing to sacrifice millions to do it.  But there's more to this than just NYC.

Meet Omar Fateh, the Next Zohran Mamdani, Running for Mayor of Minneapolis - Minneapolis may be getting its own version of New York Assemblyman Zohran Mamdani. State Sen. Omar Fateh, a self-proclaimed democratic socialist and the first Somali American and Muslim to serve in the Minnesota Senate, is running for mayor of Minneapolis on a platform of pro-illegal immigration, anti-police, and anti-Israel policies.

None of this is happening by accident, it's a nationwide movement to capture and control the apparatus of government in America in order to subtly impose Islam on America by force of law, ultimately replacing the Constitution with Sharia.

$8 Billion ‘Halal' War Chest to Reshape America - Promoted at ICNA’s. -  From May 24 to 26, 2025, the Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA) and the Muslim American Society (MAS) hosted their 50th Annual Convention in Baltimore. This event went far beyond the scope of religious teachings or cultural celebrations. These two organizations are not benign civic groups:

  • ICNA is the American front for Jamaat-e-Islami, a radical South Asian Islamist movement that promotes Sharia governance, Islamic supremacy, and political Islam across the globe.
  • Federal investigators identified MAS as the American branch of the Muslim Brotherhood, a global Islamist network with deep ideological and financial ties to groups advocating for Islamic law to replace secular systems.

Together, ICNA and MAS have spent decades embedding themselves into U.S. institutions—schools, city councils, financial systems, and nonprofit networks—under the guise of “civil rights” and “community outreach."

Should We Be Afraid of Islam? You bet!  In a meeting of the Czech Parliament Klara Samkova states:

"Islam is in conflict with human nature, freedom and human dignity, like Nazism, Fascism and Communism. This is the truth, even though Islam is concealed as a religion, even though it is actually chiefly a criminal state ideology and unreformable system of government.”

The reaction from these "leaders"?  Her speech "sent shock waves through diplomatic circles"......."a moderator attempted to cut her off, claiming her statements were “propaganda.”'

Racism

  • Mamdani’s Racism Isn’t Subtle — It’s Loud, Proud, and Dangerous - You have to give New York Assemblyman Zohran Mamdani one thing—he doesn’t hide it very well. His racism, his antisemitism, and his radical leftist extremism aren’t whispered in smoky back rooms. No, he says them out loud, with a straight face, into microphones, and on national television. The only time he pretends not to mean them is when the public backlash finally reaches his well-manicured ears.....
  • New York City Mayoral Candidate Wants to Raise Taxes – On White People - Socialist New York City mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani wants to increase taxes on white people as part of his plan to make the city more closely resemble China.
  •  Zohran Mamdani Has ‘Openly Racist’ Tax Plan That Penalizes ‘Whiteness’ - On Monday’s “Alex Marlow Show,” host and Breitbart Editor-in-Chief Alex Marlow talked about New York City Democratic mayoral nominee Zohran Mamdani’s plan to increase taxes on “whiter” neighborhoods.
  • Mamdani Embraces Racist 'Equity' Scheme, Receives Perfectly Fitting Endorsement - We've already explained why Zohran Mamdani -- a left-wing zealot and rich kid who hates law enforcement and has zero executive experience -- would be a disastrous mayor for New York City.  Democratic primary voters, however, disagree.  They've made this person their party's nominee for that significant position.  They've done so over significant opposition from poor and working-class New Yorkers, most black voters, and a huge majority of Jewish voters.  Many people within these groups (and beyond) understandably see him as a threat to public safety with unrealistic-to-ruinous economic proposals.  His "plan" to finance his blizzard of "free" giveaways is to soak the rich, another group he performatively despises, having come from very comfortable means himself.
  • Zohran Mamdani: The Beguiling Bolshevik Who Played the Race Card with College Admissions Charlton Allen How Manhattan’s latest democratic socialist sensation went racially fluid to advance his interests.
New York City is a Mess

Daniel Greenfield is convinced New York’s political system so so broken, Mamdani will be elected.  If that happens then NYC will be forced to embrace its demise:

The fact that he is a communist in the heart of capitalism is bad enough, but his Islamic faith in a leadership role means doom for a free society

What if the Marxist Muslim Mamdani wins?  Eric Utters explains the consequences saying:

......welcome to hell, New Yorkers... you voted for it.....  This is karma, kismet. This is what happens when you vote yourselves other people’s money, and you subsequently run out of other people’s money … and other people.... Freedom isn’t free. And neither is socialism/Marxism/communism. But the latter steals not only your money, but your ambition, heart, and soul. New Yorkers will discover this, as countless millions around the world have also come to realize. But it will be too late by then.....

Competition

Of course there are others running, Eric Adams is no longer a Democrat and is running as the incumbent as an Independent who recently excoriated Mamdani calling him out as "an inexperienced radical and “snake oil salesman” saying his popularity is "fueled by anger, not sound policy".  Adams states he's playing on people's emotion promising things he can't deliver because he has no idea what can be done as he's has lived a privileged life.  That was just the tip of the iceberg to that conversation.

Former Democrat Governor Andrew Cuomo is also running, which I really find all this truly ironic.  Adams was a bad Mayor and Cuomo was a disastrous governor but Mamdani is so bad the mentality among many is anyone but Mamdani.   In order to prevent splitting the vote either Adams or Cuomo will have to sign off on the other.  That just ain't gonna happen.  That's the quality of their character. However it's believed if anyone can beat him only Eric Adams can stop Mamdani, and it think Cuomo is so despised I'm wondering if anyone believes he's capable of it, even if Adams and the sacrificial Republican candidate, Curtis Sliwa, endorsed him.

What About the Democrat Party?

For the Democrats going into the 2026 election, to quote from the Apollo 13 movie:  "Houston, we have a problem."   A huge problem.

Jews have been a consistent force of support for the Democrat party, in spite of the blatantly obvious antisemite turn the party has taken in recent years. But Silvio Canto, Jr. says, "the Dems and the Jews are not one anymore."  Jewish Democrat lawmakers are sounding the alarm over Mamdani, and there's a civil war breaking out among Democrats over him, and in an effort to destroy Trump, they're willing to destroy their party.  To quote Napoleon, "Never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake"

Hakeem Jeffries is demanding he clarify in position on his "defense of the genocidal ‘Intifada’ chant, but I think more recognize this for what it is.  A phony freakout about Mamdani:

It has been amusing to watch Democrats struggle to cope with the success of 33-year-old socialist Zohran Mamdani’s decisive win in the New York mayoral primaries. Why all the hand wringing? Mamdani is now the mainstream of the once great Democratic Party.

To the delusional Democrats Mamdani is now the Second Coming of Obama.  He is in reality a perfect representation of the Democrat party base.  Democrat Sen. Murphy says his insane economic message is the future of the party, and clearly is the representation of their inevitable drift to he far left, which was as predictable as night follows say going as far back as 1960.

But what about the rest of America?  I think this is more likely than not, no matter who wins, after NYC, the DNC looks DOA:

On June 24th, 2025, New York City Democratic Primary voters elected a Muslim-Indian trust-fund baby socialist, born in Uganda, preacher of all things anti-white, anti-American, anti-capitalist, anti-Israel, anti-common sense, as their party nominee to replace Eric Adams. In other words, a male Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez with more intersectionality is the front-runner to be the next mayor of the Big Apple. Should they just start calling themselves the Rotten Apple, Beaten Apple, or just Apple Core?

I'm not a big believer in polls.  They're statistics, which is called the arcane science for a reason.  You can get them to prove anything you want them to prove, but generally the polls I've found troublesome have all come from the left defaming conservatives.  What happens when pollsters show the Democrats are in deep trouble claiming the voters think Democrats are out of touch, woke, and weak, playing huggy bear with illegal aliens.  That they lack common sense, clarity, and authenticity.  The conclusion is they have to change or die.  Well, that creates a conundrum for Democrats.   If they change, they might as well be Republicans, and then their party's dead as their base will desert them.  If they don't their radical base will keep dragging them down and they're dead.   I think that bodes well this question.  That's a bad thing why?

Solution

As I stated earlier, much of what this Marxist wishes to do is unconstitutional and can be stopped by the President of the United States under the Guarantee Clause of the Constitution.

Essentially, the Court has ruled that a republican form of government is whatever Congress or the President says it is, right down to marrying only one woman or, I guess today, one man.  It is not a stretch at all for President Trump to proclaim, for instance, that DEI violates the Guarantee Clause, and only a government that strictly adheres to meritocracy is acceptable. Civil service based on anything else—aristocracy, hereditary, wealth, or most perniciously, race—is repugnant to republican governance and has been from Cicero to Madison.

So when Zohran Mamdani decides his socialist utopia includes making property taxes inversely proportional to pigment, refusing to follow federal law, institutionalizing DEI, and defunding the police, he is giving Trump all the ammunition he needs to send in the troops to restore a republican form of government, and Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson can pound sand.

While that's clearly viable, I actually prefer this one. Sending him, and his family, back to Uganda, you know, the country that kicked him out because of race.  A country while no longer the brutal murderous regime it was under Idi Amin, human rights is still a serious issue there, and the government is involved.  It's not Marxist or totally socialist, but it's considered one of the most corrupt nations on earth.  It seems to me Uganda is much better fit for Mamdani.

I'm hoping this is the last piece I do on this guy until the election is over, but given what's happening, I doubt it.  Who would have thought the nation could have come to this?

Is Zohran Mamdani Really the Anointed One? Part II

By Rich Kozlovich

I have huge draft files saving links to articles on every issue that faces humanity, so, from the beginning of the Democrat primary for Mayor of NYC I started saving articles dealing with that as it was clear this was going to be controversial.  So, on June 27 I organized those articles and published this piece asking Is Zohran Mamdani Really the Anointed One?  I used so many sources I thought it was so comprehensive I wouldn't have to address this again.  Wrong!

Almost immediately I had to add updates.   Starting with Andrea Widburg, who has really been on top of this story.  By that afternoon she published this article, A story out of Iowa explains why college grads were instrumental in Mamdani’s NYC victory, noting his votes came from the "college crowd, .....the barista class .....the academic haven for aberrant people to engage in endless leftist mental masturbation".   But they only represented 5% of the voting population of NYC.  Which lent credibility to the idea the other 95% of New York  City voters may not choose this carpetbagger from Uganda.

Daniel Greenfield has been dubious over this vote from the beginning and addresses his concerns in this article,  Tens of Thousands of “New Voters” Registered to Vote for Mamdani, noting it was to his benefit the voter turn out was small, but also his campaign focused on registering new voters, thousands of new voters, or lapsed voters.  Greenfield says the numbers are unnatural.  Where do all these 18-25 year olds come from?  The data suggest they're immigrants from Muslim nations as “roughly a third of all Muslim adults are under the age of 30”.  He ends by asking:

Beyond fraud and numbers like these absolutely raise that question, we are seeing a test of the system that Islamists used to swamp elections in the UK. We may want to wake up before it starts happening on a large scale here.

It would appear he's also being funded by the Shadowy David Hogg PAC, which "appears to be a communist organization that is recruiting young voters to further Marxism."   The story got worse as the days progressed.

He wants to raise taxes on white people.  He wants to ban all guns, an ideological concept he seems to think shouldn't apply to terrorists. He says billionaires shouldn't exist.  Yet these are the ones he plans to tax heavily in order to give a lot of free stuff away, which might be difficult after they all leave New York.   He's positioned himself in the past to defunding the police, and to emptying the city's jails, which he seems to be flip flopping on now, at least until he can get elected, but the NYPD cops aren't buying it, and if he's elected they're planning on a mass exodus.

He's a communist Islamist.  Does  anyone beside be see how incongruous that is?  Yet there it is, he's a communist, but what kind of Islamist is he?  Radical, and he's even scared leftists.  The Washington Post slams him, and the Democrat leader in the House, Hakeem Jeffries, isn't endorsing him.

One of the most interesting aspects of this whole thing is pointed out in this RAIR article noting that New York City has seemingly forgotten the horrors of 9/11 and is willing to elect a communist who's a supporter of radical Islamists as their mayor.  Dems' NYC socialist nominee ducks and weaves when asked to condemn term calling for killing Jews

What could possibly go wrong?

Is Zohran Mamdani Really the Anointed One? Part I

 By Rich Kozlovich

Normally, as a result of how heavily New York City is infested with leftist Democrats anyone who wins the Democrat primary in New York City will be the next mayor of New York City, and since Zohran Mamdani won, he's already been anointed by the left and their catspaws in the Pravda media, and he's been acting as if his anointing has been confirmed.  Only it hasn't .... at least not yet.  The Democrat primary isn't the election, so let's take a look a Zohran Mamdani, and the stuff that's not being reported.

Ben Shapiro reported saying:

They did it they finally did it. Those maniacs. They blew it up. As New Yorkers walk dazed through the streets of the world's greatest city, seeking perhaps the half-buried Statue of Liberty lying beneath the silent sands of a deserted beach in the Forbidden Zone, one thing has become clear: The young revolutionaries of the Democratic Party are ready to take control of their party's future.

And there's hardly anyone left to stop them. On Tuesday, Zohran Mamdani, a 33-year-old Ugandan-born trust fund baby -- the scion of a Columbia University post-colonialism professor and an Oscar-nominated Hollywood director -- won a stunning Democratic primary victory over disgraced former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo. Mamdani immediately declared that he would be running against "billionaires" in order to preserve "democracy." In Socialist-speak, this means that he will propose massive rent freeze regulations, city-owned grocery stores and a bevy of free goods that would make a child running for fifth-grade president blush.

Is Mamdani the new leader of the Democrat party?  Well, Shapiro isn't alone in that assessment, as Alex Marlow is calling Zohran Mamdani the Democrats new leader, and for the same reason, the core base of the party is just as radical as Mamdani. Marlow went on to say no one can win a Democrat primary without debasing themselves.  Their positions must be the most radical or they can't survive the primaries.  “Democrats are going to have to embarrass themselves in order to pander to their voters…they will have to humiliate themselves, debase and degrade themselves in order to get through their own primaries.”  In Mamdani's case, he's not debasing himself at all.  He's a true believer in leftist insanity.

Tim Donner calls this a Democrat dumpster fire, Robin Itzler says, and I think rightfully so, New York’s Big Apple could be replaced with a hammer and sickle.  New York is a mess, but the voters choice to fix it is a radical choice by jumping from the frying pan deep into the fire.

However, Derek Hunter is all in favor of a Mamdani mayoralty since it will help New York City to  kill itself, since the only cure for NYC is:

A total "embrace of socialist/fascist/communist policies (and there isn’t a dime’s worth of difference between the three) will ween those people off their addiction to seeking government to solve their problems/improve their lives. Let it die, and let them choke on whatever damage and harm to people it does along the way".

And make sure the federal government in no way bails them out.  Let's face it, even though the Democrat leadership  may think this man's positions make the Democrat party unelectable outside of places like NYC, they're going to embrace him and declare he's good and Donald Trump is bad.  Why? Because that's all they have, and his policies are the policies the base embraces.

The Democrats defense of Mamdani, a true radical, is on autopilot being endorsed by Clinton and De Blasio. Wow! Imagine that. Did I mention profane?  Democrats having no filter on their thoughts or expressions, all of which are stupid, many of which are profane.   Any criticism of him is automatically racist, xenophobic, and Islamophobic because Stephen Miller noted "NYC is the clearest warning yet of what happens to a society when it fails to control migration.”  The Dem Congressman's responses?  He tells Jewish Stephen Miller to go back to 1930's Germany calling him a racist f..k.

Well, is it racist, Islamophobic or xenophobic to point out there's a Muslim visa specialist in U.S. State Department who "helps illegal aliens avoid deportation".  And why? Because he says, " ‘f**k Americans, f**k Israel. I hate [Israelis] to death".  Yet he’s an American government bureaucrat.

Islamophobia doesn't exist.  A phobia is an unnatural fear, and almost 1500 years of history, incontestable history, has made it clear there's justification to fear Islam, and is in no way unnatural, and the same holds true of xenophobia.  The fact is when you elect the third world, you get the third world and the Nitwit Brigade is rejoicing claiming he's  ‘A New Hope’.

Who is this "New Hope"?

Rep. Andy Ogles is requesting the Justice Department run an investigation into "credible concerns that he may have obtained citizenship under false pretenses, including sympathies for convicted terrorists.

"Mamdani is an antisemite"..... "who doesn't believe Israel has a right to exist"...., "a socialist/communist openly expressed solidarity with the Holy Land Foundation Five — a group convicted in 2008 for funneling millions to Hamas, a U.S.-designated foreign terrorist organization responsible for countless civilian deaths.  That public support for convicted terrorists — voiced before Mamdani became a U.S. citizen — may constitute a willful misrepresentation or concealment of terrorist sympathies during his naturalization process..... refused to denounce the pro-terrorist slogan “Globalize the Intifada,” a radical chant used in recent leftist street protests calling for violent uprisings worldwide — including on U.S. soil..... [and] reasonably suggests underlying conduct relevant to eligibility for naturalization.

If an individual publicly glorifies a group convicted of financing terrorism, it is entirely appropriate for federal authorities to inquire whether that individual engaged in non-public forms of support such as organizational affiliation, fundraising, or advocacy-that would have required disclosure on Form N-400 or during a naturalization interview.......has recently refused opportunities to reject the pro-terrorist rallying cry to “globalize the intifada” — a call to expand violent attacks on civilians to the United States and around the world....[his] admiration for individuals convicted of supporting terrorism, a troubling pattern emerges that warrants formal scrutiny............Deliberate concealment of relevant associations may may constitute a material misrepresentation sufficient to support de-naturalization under federal law.

The Editorial Board at Insights & Issues says this of blue state socialism: You Wanted It, Now You Get It … Good And Hard

Faced with the failure of their policies, far-left and outright socialist Democrats in blue-state America are doubling down. Whether it’s New York, California or Midwestern leftist havens Minnesota and Illinois, the socialist model will bring only more failure and misery to its citizens. And, because they voted for it, they’ll get what they deserve.

We’re not gloating here. The Democratic Party was once a serious political group that  based its popularity on appealing to centrist blue-collar working class Americans and moderate urban liberals. The extreme left was largely, though not entirely, marginalized.  Today, that’s sadly no longer true. ...........Under its leftist leadership, California is losing hundreds of thousands of its most productive citizens, not to mention hundreds of its most innovative firms. All are fed up with the state’s insane DEI culture, heavy regulations, and super-high taxes..........

Zohran Wants to Make the USA Uganda - New York City, especially the purple-haired people, are allegedly agog about the new sensation, communist anarchist Islamist Zohran Mamdani, who was born in Uganda. He’s excited about himself too and wants his  third world-style ideology to spread with the Democrat banner.  “Absolutely,” he blathered, “I think ultimately, this is a campaign about inequality, and you don’t have to live in the most expensive city in the country to have experienced that inequality, because it’s a national issue.”....

Which I would suppose that includes promoting his brand of Islam (there are a lot of brands of Islam which is why there's unending violence in those nations) that believes there's a 1200-year-old final ‘prophet’ who is going to come out of hiding and spread Islam worldwide.  And no one has asked him if he actually believes that.  Imagine that, are you as shocked at that as I am?

Mamdani wants to spend $65 million on sex change drugs and surgeries for minors and adults if elected.  He wants to ban all guns, dismantle the police, abolish prisons, freeze rents, punish bad landlords (which I have no objection to except they will define what's bad), more affordable housing, free bus fare, free childcare, much higher taxes on the wealthy and big corporations, raise the minimum wage to $30.00 an hour, expand health care services, and “create a a network of city owned grocery stores focused on keeping prices low, not making a profit.” The mission will be to offer  lower prices, and no price gouging.

Well, historically that's been an abject failure in every possible way, and everywhere, as the linked article shows.  Another demonstration of his lack of practical experience, and stunningly little knowledge.  What's the percent of profit in a successful grocery store?  One percent!  Wow! Price gouging?  What's the overall percentage the state of New York confiscates in  income taxes?  It runs from  4% to 10.9%, and another 3.078% to 3.876% in local taxes.  Does anyone really think they're worth it?

The owner of one of New York's largest grocery chains (if I recall they've been in business in NYC for 100 years) says if Mamdani is elected he's going to either close or sell all of his stores.   Is it any wonder Donald Trump calls him a communist lunatic?

Well, there's resistance to this nitwit.  Even rapper 50 Cent, a native New Yorker wants this carpetbagger from Uganda to leave and he's putting his money where his mouth is.

NYC's Wealthiest Revolt Against Mamdani Candidacy -It's safe to say that Wall Street is not thrilled that a democratic socialist has won the Democratic primary to be the next mayor. In the wake of Zohran Mamdani's upset victory over Andrew Cuomo, hedge fund billionaire Bill Ackman tweeted a lengthy plea for a viable independent candidate to emerge ASAP, reports Fortune. Any such candidate's campaign would get an immediate cash infusion, he writes.  "Importantly, there are hundreds of millions of dollars of capital available to back a competitor to Mamdani that can be put together overnight (believe me, I am in the text strings and the WhatsApp groups) so that a great alternative candidate won't spend any time raising funds.".....

And as I said, he won the Democrat primary, he hasn't won the election and there are other candidates.  Although he humiliated Cuomo in the primary I have to keep coming back to the fact  only 5% of New Yorkers voted for Mamdani, and it appears Cuomo will still appear on the ballot.  Mayor Adams has launched his bid for re-election as an independent, saying:

“It’s a choice between a candidate with a blue collar and one with a suit and a silver spoon...... "a snake oil salesman who would say and do anything to get elected,"

Then there's the Republican "nominee", Curtis Sliwa.  The trouble with Curtis Sliwa is he's not really a politician, and doesn't have an organization behind him, including the Republicans who don't even have a primary and just anoint him as their candidate.  That's not a good sign.  Without an organization beating the drum 24/7 between elections highlighting policy differences, there's no chance for an election upset.   However, it appears Mamdani, who has already been anointed as mayor of NYC by everyone, only got around 5% of the votes of NYC's voting public.  Cuomo will still will be on the ballot and Mayor Eric Adams as officially launched his bid as an independent.

What does the other 95% of NYC's voting public think about all of this?  His anointing may have been just a little premature, but we'll see, since even these provably bad choices are better than Mamdani.

The Democrat party and the left in general is in deep trouble.  They're leaderless, rudderless, uninspired and a bunch of rude, incoherent, ranting, obnoxious disruptive whiners with no solutions other that Trump is Bad as a platform.

Can the left reform?  I think asking the left to reform is like asking Islam to reform. If they reform, they don’t exist. The foundational moral values on of both leftism and Islam are hate, greed, envy, lust, violence, and an insane desire to accumulate so much power they can control everyone’s life in the minutest detail, and kill any who resists without consequence. That’s leftism and Islam in all off their manifestations, both striving to see which can claim the title of world’s greatest mass murderer.

Update, 2:45 PM:  My Take:  This lends credibility to the idea the other 95% of New York  City voters may not choose this carpetbagger. RK

Update, 6/28/25:

  • Whoa! WaPo Drops Blistering Op-Ed on Socialist NYC Mayoral Candidate Zohran Mamdani - Well this was certainly unexpected. The leftist Washington Post dropped a devastating op-ed Friday by its editorial board that ripped into democratic socialist mayoral hopeful Zohran Mamdani and said that he would be “bad for New York.”.........Zohran Mamdani, son of a Marxist professor and namesake of the 1962 Lenin Peace Prize winner, is too much of a communist even for the Washington Post editorial board:.....Even for many libs, this permanently-grinning specter with his socialist utopia visions, grand tax schemes and antisemitism is a bridge too far.  The Post agrees, and they give the entire game away in their headline: Zohran Mamdani’s victory is bad for New York and the Democratic Party..............

Update, 6/29, 25

  • Mamdani: Ban All Guns Except Those of Hamas - “We need to ban all guns,” Zohran Mamdani tweeted. But Mamdani appeared at a Brooklyn hate mosque where the Imam had prayed for the success of Hamas........ “Oh Allah, grant victory to our mujahideen (Jihadist) brothers in Palestine,” he prayed to his religion’s deity and hailed the Hamas terrorists who were “holding out, steadfast, after 316 days? 316 days! We ask Allah to make them strong and guide their shooting.” So I guess Mamdani wants to ban all guns… except those held by Hamas. That’s gun control. The Islamic way..........
  • Quote of the day  - I think I will have more to say about Zohran Mamdani when I can compile something close to the full lineup of his egregious positions. Today I yield to Tim Kelly — a former Minneapolis attorney who has moved out of the state in retirement. After serving as a platoon leader in Vietnam, he attended the University of Minnesota Law School, clerked on the Supreme Court for Chief Justice Burger.............
  • Communist NYC Mayoral Candidate Says “I Don’t Think We Should Have Billionaires” – Doubles Down on Targeting ‘Whiter Neighborhoods’ with Higher Taxes - Zohran Mamdani has proudly stated he plans to fund his radical transformation of the city if he is elected: he will hike property taxes for “richer and whiter neighborhoods.”...... he doubled down on the race-based approach to paying for his radical agenda, although he tried to suggest his proposal was  “not driven by race.”..... It’s more of an assessment of what neighborhoods are being under-taxed versus over-taxed,” ........“I don’t think that we should have billionaires, frankly.”.....
  •  9/11 Forgotten – NYC Poised to Elect Muslim Communist as Mayor - New York City has evidently forgotten all about the horrors of 9/11. New York State Assemblymember Zohran Mamdani just won the Democratic nomination for the mayoral election after disgraced Andrew Cuomo conceded. He is a radical Muslim communist, and if elected (which is almost a certainty), he will finish off the Big Apple. New York City has evidently forgotten all about the horrors of 9/11. •  Islamic Communist Zohran Mamdani Funded by Shadowy David Hogg PAC - Few realize that one of Islamic communist Zohran Mamdani’s largest backers was a little-known PAC called “Leaders We Deserve,” spearheaded by leftist, anti-gun antagonist David Hogg and Kevin Lata, Rep. Maxwell Frost’s (D-FL) former campaign manager.  Few realize that one of Islamic communist Zohran Mamdani’s largest backers was a little-known PAC called “Leaders We Deserve,” spearheaded by leftist, anti-gun antagonist David Hogg and Kevin Lata, Rep. Maxwell Frost’s (D-FL) former campaign manager........ Touted on their site “as a grassroots organization dedicated to electing young progressives to Congress and State Legislatures across the country to help defeat the far-right agenda and advance a progressive vision for the future,” it appears to be a communist organization that is recruiting young voters to further Marxism.
Update, 6/30/25:
  • Tens of Thousands of “New Voters” Registered to Vote for Mamdani - These numbers are not natural. The New York Times has a shallow cheerleading article about where Zohram Mamdani’s votes came from. As I already pointed out, Mamdani benefited from low turnout below 30% and won the vote of some 5% of New Yorkers. But the Times has some interesting figures in this chart. Mr. Mamdani’s campaign had focused on registering voters, and he also appears to have drawn thousands of voters to the primary who did not vote four years ago.  Those are pretty incredible numbers. 40,000 voters would make up nearly 10% of Mamdani’s totals. Who are these new voters?...............
  • We’ve talked about Zohran Mamdani’s leftism; let’s talk about his Islamism now- Zohran Mamdani, the Democrat party’s candidate for mayor of New York, has attracted attention for the fact that he’s a hardcore communist. However, his religious beliefs deserve some attention, too. First, there’s the fact that he’s a Shia Muslim who is affiliated with the Twelver Branch that drives the Iranian mullahs. Back in 2006, the late Bernard Lewis wrote about this ideology when he explained why the mullahs are not necessarily amenable to the doctrine of mutually assured destruction:...........
