Dutch Professor: “No Western Country Has Managed to Successfully Integrate Muslims”

Based on his 20-year-long studies on integration and assimilation, Dutch professor of sociology Ruud Koopmans has come to the conclusion that Muslims are more difficult to integrate than other migrant groups.  Ruud Koopmans claims than no Western country has managed to successfully integrate Muslims.  “Muslims are much worse at integration than other groups of migrants, and there is no doubt that in most other groups of migrants, we see great progress from one generation to the next. Although it’s not completely absent in Muslims, the change is much slower,” he told Danish newspaper Berlingske recently. 

Around 65 percent of the Turkish and Moroccan Muslims in six European countries consider religious rules to be more important than the secular law of the country in which they live.  Muslims consider themselves separate from other non-Muslim groups, and refrain from broader interaction with those outside their religion.  The fundamentalist interpretation of the Quran, which is prevalent among Muslims, prevents them from being integrated into Western countries..........To Read More.....

Ending race preferences would benefit whites.  In August, the Justice Department gave its support to a lawsuit from a group of highly qualified Asian-American applicants rejected by Harvard because—they claimed—they were Asian.

The trial has just ended, and a final ruling will almost certainly come from the Supreme Court. Though the case is ostensibly about the welfare of Asian students, affirmative action’s defenders are worried that if Asians succeed in abolishing race preference, whites would benefit.

The American Civil Liberties Union warned about this in a recent tweet:............This sentiment isn’t surprising given the ACLU’s recent Twitter history. In August 2017, the group tweeted what it thought was a harmless promotion, with an adorable little girl holding an American flag..............The ACLU’s followers accused it of promoting something that looked like “KKK propaganda.” The ACLU groveled and thanked its followers for reminding it that “white supremacy is everywhere.”

The Busybody Left

The political left has been trying to run other people’s lives for centuries. So we should not be surprised to see the Obama administration now trying to force neighborhoods across America to have the mix of people the government wants them to have.  There are not enough poor people living in middle class neighborhoods to suit the political left. Not enough blacks in white neighborhoods. Not enough Hispanics here, not enough Asians there.

Nowhere in the Constitution does it grant the federal government the power to dictate such things. But places that do not mix and match people the way Washington wants them to can lose all sorts of federal money they currently receive under numerous programs.  Handing out vast amounts of the taxpayers' money is the way the federal government has expanded its power far beyond the powers granted by the Constitution — thereby limiting the freedom of individuals, localities and states. Washington is essentially buying up our freedom with our own money, taken in taxes.........The counterproductive consequences of these efforts in the housing markets have only spurred on the busybodies of the left to try harder to force people to live their lives according to the preconceptions of the left, rather than according to their own direct personal experiences and preferences.  ......To Read More.....
