On July 4, 2025 Antifa attacked Prairieland Detention Center in Texas.  Antifa has been declared a terrorist organization, and with the information about these arrest has been made public, it's clear that's exactly what they are, terrorists. This wasn't a protest, it was a riot, with a police officer being shot it the neck.  This was intended to be violent terrorist attack through use of firearms and explosives.  A number of them were identified and arrested with their leader sentenced to 100 years, and the others between 30 and 70 years.  

As U.S. District Judge Reed O'Connor, "one of two judges overseeing the proceedings, said what happened last July wasn't a protest but "an assault on democracy." "The need to deter this type of conduct is high," and their sentences reflected that reality.

These foolish people have ruined their lives. Why would these young people act in such a manner? The answer is clear to the most casual observer.  The leftist fever swamps warped their thinking. They lived in a leftist preconceptional philosophical bubble where they reached conclusions without concern for truth, facts or justice.  Since they refused to hear or read anything that disputed or refuted their preconceived notions, their views must be right. 

Here's how one of the defense lawyers defined what they did:

 "a bunch of kids and young adults who really have a really big heart and really wanted their voice to be heard."

I guess they thought they couldn't be properly heard without guns and explosives?  Did I get that right? 

Did they really think they could get away with this?  Actually, given the corruption of the Biden DOJ and the federal judiciary they most likely did think that. But that's over, at least for the time being. Interestingly two of these misfits are transgender "women". Their time in prison is going to be interesting,
