Our nation’s first census was conducted in 1790. At that time and through today, citizens and residents were counted to determine representation and government funding. During President Donald Trump’s first term he tried to stop the Census Bureau from counting illegal aliens. After all, it makes no sense counting people who should not be in our country and using that number to appropriate House representatives, but that is what the U.S. Census does every 10 years.
Every 760,000 or so ILLEGAL ALIENS who are deported equals one congressional seat. Plus, the number of congressional seats is how the number of Electoral College electors per state are chosen. Those numbers are also used in determining government funding. This is why Joe “Autopen” Biden opened the borders during his four-year reign of terror.
White House Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy Stephen Miller (don’t you love this guy?!?) said that the Trump administration is determined “to clean up the census and make sure that illegal aliens are not counted.”
The House reintroduced the Equal Representation Act by North Carolina Republican Rep. Chuck Edwards. The bill would only have the Census include citizens and those legally in the United States. It now moves through the Oversight Committee, chaired by Kentucky Republican Representative James Comer. Assuming the House passes the Act, it then goes to the Senate.
Five years will pass quickly, and the nation will face the consequences of failing to pass legislation that stops the U.S. Census from counting ILLEGAL ALIENS, stopping automatic birthright citizenship (partially stopped by the Supreme Court, although its decision was on federal judge’s ruling on national issues without proper standing), along with legislation for election integrity will go a long way to cementing President Trump’s promise to Make America Great Again.
