Exposing fraudulent ballots is just one part of a wider game.

“Put up or shut up” is the rallying call for millions of Americans who voted for President Trump and are behind his efforts to overturn results in key battleground states. While the impetus remains on the side of the president, there is a growing uneasiness that not enough information has been released regarding the evidence that Trump’s lawyers are building their case around. And bad news for those who are desperate to see the final reveal – the lawyers are playing the cards close to their chests.
Yet it appears that two different games are being played – one for hearts and one for minds. Like love and marriage, you can’t have one without the other. At the center of the game for winning minds are the court cases brought forward by Sidney Powell and Rudy Giuliani, who are gathering evidence and filing where they can. This is what is being examined in detail by the Fourth Estate, and we, as mere consumers, are allowed to see.
The game for hearts, on the other hand, is being fought piecemeal in haphazard news stories and Twitter threads.
President Trump is engaged in keeping support high for his cause by drip-feeding election news and creating demand among the public. Like with the Million MAGA March in Washington D.C., if the president can keep optimism high and anger directed, he forces the legacy media to address his concerns on election fraud.
Keeping the Media Honest
As most major media outlets joined in the chorus to proclaim Joe Biden the next president of the United States, it was only Trump’s constant drumbeat that forced the admission that Joe Biden is not, in fact, the president-elect. If CNN, ABC, and the other alphabet networks – including Fox News – were not being constantly called out, the legal challenges and, more importantly, the voting discrepancies may well have gone uncovered – thus weakening the legal side of the action.
And the discrepancies are mounting. Each individually may not have an impact, but the outcome may be greater than the sum of its parts.
Nevada
Trump tweeted:
“Big victory moments ago in the State of Nevada. The all Democrat County Commissioner race, on the same ballot as President, just thrown out because of large scale voter discrepancy. Clark County officials do not have confidence in their own election security. Major impact!”
This was a race for Clark County Commission District C, and initially, the race was called for the Democrat contender. However, the Registrar of Voters office determined that 139 ballots had discrepancies, which, when they were removed, handed the lead to Republican Stavros Anthony.
A very small hill of beans, certainly. But the county admitted that almost 1,000 ballots had some kind of issue and that they have so far identified several people who have voted twice.
Communications director for the Nevada State Democratic Party, Molly Forgey, was quick to try and shut down any spin. She said that Trump and his supporters were attempting to spin the story into something of importance. Richard Grenell, former national intelligence director, tweeted that local Dems were in “full panic mode” and “The entire County’s ballots are now suspect—and the Democrat Party is freaking out.”
Georgia
In the hand recount for the Peach State, 2,600 ballots were discovered in Floyd County. Brad Raffensperger, the Georgia Secretary of State, blamed the omission on election officials failing to upload votes from a memory card in a ballot-scanning machine but insisted that it was not a big deal in the overall scheme of things.
Perhaps, but it highlights a significant flaw in the whole process. Votes need to be uploaded manually by election officials to be counted … this leaves the process open to enormous danger.
Who Counts the Votes?
These are but two stories in a single day. We have seen races flipped when “glitches” in the Dominion voting machines came to light; Trump’s lawyers say they have thousands of affidavits of witness testimony that election tampering took place. Each report may just be a small issue, but when they are added together…?
As Joseph Stalin was reported to have said: “I consider it completely unimportant who in the party will vote, or how; but what is extraordinarily important is this – who will count the votes, and how.”
