Vatican invites Bernie Sanders to speak on 'moral economy'

Bernie Sanders has been invited to discuss building a “moral economy” at the Vatican, the Democratic presidential candidate has announced.  During his appearance on MSNBC’s Morning Joe Friday, Sanders confirmed the summons, saying he was “very moved by the invitation,” despite differing views with Pope Francis.  “I am a big, big fan of the Pope — obviously there are areas that we disagree on, women’s rights or gay rights — but he has played an unbelievable role of injecting a moral consequence into the economy,” Sanders said.

My Take - So we're supposed to be surprised when one clueless socialist is a "big fan" of another clueless socialist?  Why would the Vatican ask a socialist about morality or economics?   Socialists have no universal moral foundation other than an overwhelming desire to gain power and control everyone life, and they're complete economic idiots.

That's history - and that history is incontestable.

If you want a moral economy try a successful economy based on American capitalism, which has brought more people in more lands out of dystopia that any efforts by the church or by all the socialists in the world in all of world history.  In point of fact - an argument can easily be made that only Islam caused more suffering and misery.  Certainly more suffering ever done - or ever could ever be done - by American capitalism.

That's history - and that history is incontestable!
