Democrats Adopt Platform That Calls for Prosecution of Climate Change Skeptics
I can’t even begin to remember how many times over the years I’ve pointed out to Liberals that fascism in all its glory is a product of the Left, springing from the same Marxist well as socialism and communism.
Although in public Adolf Hitler always posed as anti-Communist for purposes of manipulating his followers into fighting against Russia, in private he acknowledged that at its root, Nazism and Communism were the same except for National Socialism’s focus on race and nationalism. On the so-called “other side,” the Red Army in its early days even used a swastika as its symbol. Needless to say, those sorts of facts go right over the heads of leftists, who have invested decades of effort in distancing themselves from Hitler’s Holocaust.
But they can’t avoid their anti-individualist instincts, as the Democratic Platform Drafting Committee just proved by adopting a platform to encourage the legal prosecution of anyone who doubts their global warming hysteria. The approved party plank says (emphasis added):.....To Read More....
College Student Expelled for Expressing Christian Beliefs on His Personal Facebook Page
By Dave Jolly June 28, 2016
What are your Facebook privacy settings? Are your posts viewable to everyone or just your friends? If only your friends are able to see your personal posts, do you feel safe in what you post?
Felix Ngole, a 38-year-old student at the University of Sheffield, thought he was safe in what he posted on his Facebook page. Only his friends could see his post defending biblical teaching of marriage and sexual ethics. In his second year of a Master’s degree in social work, Ngole shared his Christian understanding of what God says about marriage and homosexuality.
Someone, who could only be one of his Friends on Facebook, brought his post to the attention of the Sheffield faculty. The thought that one of their students accepted the Word of God over the word of man was horrifying. A committee quickly convened and decided that Ngole should no longer be part of the University of Sheffield. They stated that his personal views, which were expressed on his own time on his own Facebook page open to only his Friends, ‘may have caused offence to some individuals” and he had “transgressed boundaries which are not deemed appropriate for someone entering the social work profession.”
Ngole has obtained the help of the Christian Legal Center to fight the university’s actions. In a letter released by Ngole through the CLC, he states in part.....To Read More....

Another civil war on its way, thanks to the media
Janet Mefferd, host of “The Janet Mefferd Show,” a radio program heard coast to coast, has more discernment in her vintage mic than most reporters have in their entire newsrooms. Recently she tweeted: “Left won’t stop Muslim ‘refugee’ flood to U.S. just b/c small % are violent jihadists. But they apply reverse logic to try to nix 2nd Amend.”
Yes. Exactly.
In the crazy world in which we live, there are daily reminders that a good portion of the population is not playing with a full deck. Man-on-the-street interviews reveal a populace that is woefully ignorant of major issues. A certain number of Millennials believe there are magic money trees that sprout up in fairy gardens, and the money can be used to pay for everything; everything is free. I’m even shocked at the lack of in-depth analysis of the Marxist policies of Bernie Sanders, who this year was a serious candidate for the presidency.
Where is the outrage?
We are witnessing – living right in the whirlwind – mass deception, perpetrated by the government.

Is Brexit the Beginning of World War III?
By Adrian Vance June 28, 2016
Brexit” in the United Kingdom on June 24, 2016 was long overdue and the first shots of the “Battle of the Bulge” of World War III, which we have been fighting for seven years with few knowing it was even happening; such is the nature of war in the 21st Century. It is low profile and focused on people not armies, forts and machines of war. War changes over time.
War grew out of raids by Vikings who attacked English and European seaside settlements taking their food, goods and women. When we evolved to duchies with castles, walls and fortified settlements, war was primarily sieges with the best equipped winning by wearing the other guy down or starving him out.
Siege warfare was tiresome so the art was “civilized” into contests between armed legions that would line up and shoot at one another with bows and arrows, crossbows, catapults, trebuchets and firearms finally ending in hand-to-hand combat with the winners being the last men, standing.
By the time of our revolutionary war such activities had refined to the point where enemies were expected to line up, “…in a civilized manner” and shoot at each other with muskets and cannon blasting balls, chains, rocks and small shot until one side gave up. All of this changed in our Revolution and the sequel War of 1812......The elements of this crisis have been: Europe in need of workers and America with a closet Muslim President who is trying to use the situation to his advantage without realizing he is putting his own at risk. If Islam defeats America his life expectancy would be to the next Friday as Muslims only do beheadings on Fridays. It is amazing that a man who always thinks he is the smartest person in the room could have such little appreciation of the fact that we are in World War III........To Read More.....

EU Climate Plans Stall As Brexit Talks Take Over
British Solar Industry In Total Free Fall After Subsidy Cuts
UK’s probable departure from the EU throws carbon cutting agenda into confusion just as countries were preparing to approve Paris climate agreement. EU envoys will meet in Berlin next week for informal talks on saving the bloc’s reputation as a climate leader. The bloc’s low carbon legislation is in limbo while the UK works out when and how far to disentangle itself. Britain voted last Thursday for a so-called ‘Brexit’, but is in no hurry to invoke Article 50, which starts formal exit negotiations. The uncertainty is expected to further delay Brussels’ ratification of the Paris climate agreement and plans to put its targets into practice. --Megan Darby, Climate Home, 27 June 2016
Solar power in the U.K. is collapsing after the government cut its subsidies, according to industry reports published Sunday. The British solar industry estimates that it lost 18,000 jobs since the subsidy cuts. The U.K. subsidy cutbacks are part of the collapse of Europe’s green energy industry. The amount of money flowing into European green energy from governments collapsed from $132 billion in 2011 to $58 billion last year. --Andrew Follett, The Daily Caller, 27 June 2016
Siemens is putting new wind power investment plans in the UK on hold due to uncertainty caused by last week’s Brexit vote, the German energy company has told the Guardian. Siemens, one of the few firms to openly back a Remain vote, will not be making new investments until the future of the UK’s relationship with Europe becomes clearer. --Arthur Neslen, The Guardian, 28 June 2016
Fossil fuel-producing companies have been thrown onto the defensive over the last two years by the argument that many of their reserves will be "stranded" as the world transitions to cleaner forms of energy. Climate campaigners claim a large percentage of already known oil, gas and coal reserves must remain unburned if the rise in global temperatures is to remain below two degrees Celsius. But the problem with the concept of "unburnable carbon" is that it confuses what campaigners would like to happen in an ideal world with what is actually likely to happen in the real one. Energy consumption in developing countries is forecast to grow three times faster than in the advanced economies over the next two decades. The resulting INCREASE in energy demand from developing countries will be very nearly equal to the TOTAL energy consumption of the advanced economies in 2012. --John Kemp, Reuters, 28 June 2016
It will be interesting to see if the La Nina decline counterbalances the El Nino rise and we return to a similar gradient sometime in the future. There are many who expect it won’t because they maintain the background rise in global temperature is continuing as will be apparent when the expected La Nina has run its course. This expectation is strong among those who played down the effect of the 2015/6 El Nino. If the 2015 El Nino’s influence was small then perhaps one can expect the forthcoming La Nino to lack the strength to re-establish the pause. We will have to wait and see. --David Whitehouse, Global Warming Policy Forum, 27 June 2016
It only took four days after U.K. voters chose to leave the European Union for a liberal climate scientist and eco-activist to blame the whole event on — you guessed it — global warming. Joe Romm, a climate scientist (sic) and writer for the liberal blog ThinkProgress, wrote an article Monday arguing the so-called “Brexit” and the rise of GOP candidate Donald Trump are driven by global warming. “We’ve known for a while that there are scientific tipping points beyond which certain climate impacts — like the collapse of the West Antarctic ice sheet or the thawing of the carbon-rich permafrost — become unstoppable,” Romm wrote. “But it appears there may also be political tipping points, where certain climate impacts cause so much widespread harm simultaneously that they simply fragment the world.” --Michael Bastasch, The Daily Caller, 28 June 2016

Why the Supreme Court’s Decision on a Governor’s Corruption Conviction Matters

Whether the government chooses to retry the McDonnells remains to be seen, but it seems doubtful. The Supreme Court, in a unanimous opinion written by Chief Justice John Roberts, overturned the conviction, holding that the government’s definition of what constitutes an “official act” for purposes of the bribery statute was too broad and would raise significant constitutional concerns. Congressman Bob Gibbs column: Biotechnology is feeding millions, saving lives
On July 1, Vermont’s food labeling law will take effect, causing massive production and packaging issues across the agriculture and food industries.
By Bob Gibbs U.S. House, R-Lakeville - @ The Times Reporter
On July 1, Vermont’s food labeling law will take effect, causing massive production and packaging issues across the agriculture and food industries. Soon, all food sold in Vermont using biotechnology, or genetic engineering, will require a label indicating a presence in the product. Here’s the catch: dairy and milk products are exempt from the labeling requirements. Coincidentally, dairy is a major industry in Vermont.
Advocates claim it is an innocuous effort to better inform consumers of the food they are buying. In reality, the campaign behind this ill-advised state law is guided by the misleading argument that GMOs are unsafe for human consumption, that they pose greater hazards than so-called “natural” foods. But this could not be further from the truth. These biotechnologies strengthen our food supplies and feed millions of people, especially in the developing world, who are at risk of starvation.
In fact, farmers have been using cross-breeding and other techniques for thousands of years. They created entirely new foods and larger, more sustainable forms of foods that already existed. Bananas, watermelon, corn, and carrots are just a few crops manipulated by ancient farmers. Evidence suggests watermelons were selectively bred by Egyptians more than four thousand years ago. Native Americans bred corn to create larger and better tasting ears nearly ten thousand years ago. Farmers across the country use bioengineering to increase yields and be responsible stewards of the environment. On my own farm, I have been able to use biotechnology to help reduce the use of herbicides and enhance conservation practices.
Using science to make our food taste better, last longer, and be more resistant to drought or disease is not a new phenomenon. It is an important part of human history and vital to our growth. Unfortunately, anti-biotech advocates are not just misrepresenting history, they’re misrepresenting science.
Numerous studies have been conducted to analyze the safety of GMOs. Countless reports show that GMOs are perfectly safe for humans while the American Medical Association even states “there is no scientific justification for special labeling of genetically modified foods.” The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine agree, as does the American Council on Science and Health, the World Health Organization, and the Royal Society of Medicine.
Even the Obama Administration’s Secretary of Agriculture, Tom Vilsack, has said there are no issues regarding safety of GMO food and that forcing a label on bioengineered food does not satisfy either of the common and conventional reasons for labeling requirements: (1) recognizing a potential safety problem or (2) identifying nutritional information.
If the Vermont law goes into effect on July 1st, the consequences will be felt nationwide. Labeling requirement for one state will place a significant burden on food producers, who either have to create two versions of every label (one for the state of Vermont and one for the rest of the country), or they must change their packaging and labels nationwide to conform with Vermont’s new law.
Alternatively, food producers could also be forced to dramatically change their recipes, ingredients, or supply chain to comply with one state’s law.
This does not happen in a vacuum. The cost of new labeling, new ingredients, or new production processes ultimately gets passed on to consumers. This will drive up food prices for everyone and especially hurt American families, who have children to feed. Vermont could just be the beginning. Other states have contemplated labeling requirements for bioengineered food, potentially creating a patchwork of state and local label laws which the food and agriculture industries cannot afford without raising their prices.
We can avoid this unnecessary increase in food prices. Last year the House of Representatives passed the Safe and Accurate Food Labeling Act. This is a bipartisan bill that protects American consumers from a state-by-state labeling structure. It gives the Food and Drug Administration the ability to oversee a new process regarding claims on food labels about bioengineered food or ingredients. The legislation, supported by groups like the American Farm Bureau Federation, Council for Responsible Nutrition, the Grocery Manufacturers Association and many others, also directs the U.S. Department of Agriculture to create a certification process for producers to label their products as GMO-free if they so choose.
The world needs a safe, affordable, and plentiful food supply. Biotechnology plays an important part in sustaining our population. We should not let rhetoric and unfounded fears of innovation stand in the way of ensuring everyone, especially those who already have difficulty affording nutritious food for their children, has access to the nourishment necessary for a happy and healthy life.

Coke Agrees To Comply With VT GMO Law – By Removing Coke From VT
Posted on June 27, 2016 by Hank Campbell
@ The American Council on Science and Health
Vermont’s somewhat capricious GMO labeling law is set to go into effect next week and one company intends to comply with it by removing its products from store shelves. Coca-Cola is advising stores that individual cans and bottles will no longer be available to Vermont consumers, at least according to one tiny local outlet I had never heard of before today.
Coke doesn’t have that decision anywhere on their site yet. The site also claims the Vermont Retail and Grocers Association estimates about 10 percent of products will be pulled from Vermont stores rather than make up a new set of labels for a few hundred thousand people who like to be arbitrary.
How arbitrary?
Gary Hirshberg, the corporate yogurt tycoon who has spent millions (Just Label It) to win against competitors using legislative fiat in a way he couldn’t in the marketplace, made sure Vermont dairy cows will still be considered organic even if they eat GMO feed (they do.)
This is no surprise, since a lot of his organic milk is actually dehydrated and shipped on emissions-belching boats to the US, and he refuses to list the chemicals in his natural-flavored yogurts. Because he does not sell booze, booze is exempt. And restaurants too. Really, only poor people who just want food at a reasonable cost are being penalized in Vermont.
I’d have thought for sure Coca-Cola would cave in, like General Mills and Kelloggs. That they didn’t is a big shock, especially for a large company in American corporate culture thinking which insists companies have to apologize for being in business at all.
New Hampshire stores have continued to cheer on the keen scientific decision-making of Vermont politicians, since everyone will now just cross the border to buy stuff they want. Where does Gary Hirshberg live? New Hampshire.

Taking a Look at the Results of Big Government’s Policies on Black Americans
“Progressives have made Americans poorer, dumber and more criminalized.”

Her views are reflections on the effects of the policies of political progressives in America—particularly as related to the black communities. She summarizes the results of the last 50 years of Big Government rule:
- Despite the billions spent on the liberal’s “War on Poverty,” the black poverty rate is unchanged since the 1960s!
- Less than half of black men graduate from high school.
- Today, 73% of blacks are born out-of-wedlock, while it was 33 percent in the 1960s.
- Planned Parenthood receives approximately one million dollars a day from American taxpayers and targets black women, who are less than 10% of American’s population but represent 40% of all abortions.
- Blacks make-up only 13 percent of the US population, yet 50 percent of the murders are by blacks, many of whose victims are also black.
SCOTUS Ruling Proves Progressives Care NOTHING About Women’s Health and Safety
By Pamela Adams June 28, 2016
My Take - Everytime I see this picture it breaks my heart. We've lost our sense of moral outrage, our sense of right and wrong, our sense of justice, and our sense there is no God and there's no need to worry "their innocent blood cries out from the ground" to him. Is it any wonder we've lost our minds - we've abandoned the very moral foundations that created this nation. Can a nation abandon that which made them great and last?
As I watch the my world swirling out of control I often wonder if the Romans felt the same way as they watched the insane antics of the Emperors and ruling class of Rome as the Empire came crashing down on them. In a nation of three hundred million people the top three candidates running for President of the United States - one is pretty much an open communist who might give you rabies if he bit you - the second is an incompetent, vicious, arrogant, stupid woman who would be in jail if what she's done was perpetrated by anyone else - both of whom have never held a real job with any success and without being on the government feed trough - would be broke. And finally a cad who I find personally distasteful with the only redeeming quality is he at least has accomplished something of value in his life without being in government.
Just two weeks ago, the country mourned the deaths of 49 men and women senselessly massacred by an Islamic extremist. Progressive Liberals such as President Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton immediately used the opportunity to push their agenda, once again spewing their mantra of, “If we can save just one life, gun control would be worth the cost.”
The cost is not only our freedom with the irradiation of the Second Amendment, as history has shown us, it will also be millions of lives.
We begin this week with those same anti-gun activists cheering and praising the Supreme Court for ensuring women all over the country have the right to slaughter their unborn children. They didn’t care that the Texas bill was designed to put safety restrictions on abortion clinics, just as they claim their precious gun control would do to gun dealers. It is irrelevant the legislation was implemented to make sure the clinics were performing abortions with qualified doctors at properly equipped facilities......To Read More.....

Pro-Lifers on Supreme Court Abortion Case: ‘We’re Coming Back in Full Force’

Members of the pro-life movement standing outside the Supreme Court on Monday were visibly discouraged by the 5-3 decision striking down a Texas law that imposed health and safety regulations on abortion clinics. But those activists showed no signs that they intend to back down from the battle over abortion in the United States.
“The pro-life generation is stronger than ever before,” Maddie Schulte, a regional coordinator at Students for Life, told The Daily Signal outside the Supreme Court in Washington, D.C. “I’m excited to see what comes next. We’re coming back full force.”

The Benghazi Debacle Should Have Ended Hillary Clinton’s Career
David French
Instead, with an assist from the media, she’s going to get off scot-free. Do failures and lies matter any longer? If you are a prominent Democratic politician, what exactly is the level of wrongdoing that will end your career?
Reading the long-awaited report from the House Select Committee on Benghazi and the associated media coverage, I was struck by the sheer scale of the failures and the deceptions surrounding the terror attack on the Benghazi compound, and by the mainstream media’s dismissiveness.
Here’s the opening paragraph of the New York Times’s story on the report:
Ending one of the longest, costliest and most bitterly partisan congressional investigations in history, the House Select Committee on Benghazi issued its final report on Tuesday, finding no new evidence of culpability or wrongdoing by Hillary Clinton in the 2012 attacks in Libya that left four Americans dead.
And here’s the Washington Post on the report:
A final report issued by the Republican majority that investigated the 2012 attacks in Benghazi, Libya, found fault with virtually every element of the executive branch response to the attacks but provided no new evidence of specific wrongdoing by then–Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
This is an extraordinary response to a report that comprehensively details one of the most shameful episodes in recent American diplomatic and military history......So here we are. The presumptive Democratic nominee for president is largely responsible for one of the great foreign-policy disasters of the last eight years and unquestionably responsible for helping mislead the public, yet in the media calculus of our time the Benghazi report is a “win,” because it merely confirms failures we already knew about. And everyone knows that old failures are no failures at all.......Read more

In a number of ways, one specific event that happened twenty-years ago next month is even more relevant to today’s political and geopolitical landscape. It was on Wednesday, July 17, 1996, a serene summer evening when the burning wreckage of TWA Flight 800 fell into the Atlantic Ocean not far from the southern coastline of Long Island, New York.
At 8:31 PM ET, just twelve minutes after taking off from JFK airport, the lives of all 230 people on-board tragically and unexpectedly ended. The lives of their surviving family members were also forever changed. So too, was the trajectory of our nation.
We were told that following a long and exhaustive investigation, the cause of this significant loss of life was a mechanical malfunction of the Boeing 747-100, an explosion of the center fuel tank, something that had not happened before or since. The actual facts, however, point to something entirely different. Enter author Jack Cashill.
Admittedly, investigative journalist Jack Cashill was not the first or only person to pick up the mantle of investigation of TWA Flight 800 in the fall of 2000, nor did his questioning the government account come lightly. However, Mr. Cashill made up for any lost ground through his tenacious investigation and contacts that exposes not only the lie, but the mechanics of the lie. He exposes the identities of those who orchestrated and facilitated in perpetuating the lie in his forthcoming book, TWA 800, The Crash, The Cover-Up, and The Conspiracy (available for purchase here on July 5, 2016).........Sadly, though, it is due to an orchestration of deceit that the victims of this tragedy and their families have been further victimized, along with each eyewitness that night and every American citizen who cares about the truth. Even after two decades, the blood of the victims cries out for the truth, while the cries of their loved ones continue to be unceremoniously muffled by the foot soldiers of the unscrupulous and corrupt........To Read More....

Israel Agreement with Terrorist Supporting Turkey
By Rachel Ehrenfeld
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu hailed the Israel-Turkey reconciliation agreement as “strategically important for Israel’s security and economy,” but members of the coalition government, as well as the opposition, disagree.
Israel’s newly appointed Minster of Defense, Avigdor Lieberman is reported to say he will oppose the agreement at the next cabinet meeting. He criticized Netanyahu’s acquiescence to Turkey’s conditions to the agreement and his apology to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan for Israel’s efforts to stop the Turkish-registered ship MV “Mavi Marmara” from breaking Israel’s naval blockade on Hamas-ruled Gaza. Lieberman and others also object to the agreement that stipulates ‘compensation’ to the families of the Turks who attacked the 13 Israeli commandos who boarded the ship when it refused to stop. The attackers were ” armed with iron bars and knives.” The bloody confrontation ended with 10 Turkish activists dead, as and 10 Israelis wounded.
The Turks onboard the ship were members of the government-sponsored Turkish radical Islamic jihadist organization the IHH (full Turkish name “Insan Hak ve Hurriyetleri veInsani Yardım Vakfı,” in English “The Foundation for Human Rights and Freedoms and Humanitarian Relief”). The IHH is anti-American, anti-Western, anti-Israeli and anti-Semitic. It operates throughout the Middle East and elsewhere. Calling on New York Democrats to Oust Muslim Appeaser Jerrold Nadler
By Jeff Dunetz June 28, 2016
Folks, I am about to break a rule and make an endorsement in a primary race other outside my district. Heck, this primary is not even a Republican primary. In the Democratic primary for New York’s 10th congressional district, I strongly urge you to vote for Oliver Rosenberg who is running against incumbent (sell-out) Jerrold Nadler. The time to vote is tomorrow June 28.
Oliver Rosenberg, a 30-year-old Yeshiva University graduate who once worked for JPMorgan Chase & Co.An orthodox Jew, Rosenberg, says that Congressman Nadler (first elected in 1992) is out of touch with voters. He also argues that any support for the Shiite Islamic theocracy in Iran means an existential threat to the Jewish state. Rosenberg, of course, is talking about Nadler’s support of the P5+1 nuclear deal, against the wishes of his district.
Nadler has proven he is the living embodiment of the need for term limits. Last year, despite all of the bad reports about the Iran deal (most of which have turned out to be true), Jerold Nadler supported the deal…Read the rest of the story at the Lid…

Obama Caused Orlando
Posted by Daniel Greenfield 9 Comments
The media has desperately tried to blame anything and everything for the Orlando Muslim massacre. The bloodshed by a Muslim terrorist has been attributed to guns, homophobia, family problems and mental illness. But Omar Mateen told his Facebook friends and a 911 operator exactly why he was doing it. Omar killed 49 people as part of the Islamic State’s war against America.
The motive is there in black and white. This was one of a number of ISIS attacks. The roots of the
Orlando attack lie in Iraq forcing us to dig down into Obama’s disastrous mishandling of ISIS. Without understanding what went wrong in Iraq, we cannot understand what happened in Orlando.
Under Bush, Al Qaeda in Iraq had been on the run. Under Obama, it began overrunning the region.
In 2009, Obama vowed a “responsible” end to the Iraq War. He claimed that the “starting point for our policies must always be the safety of the American people”. But the safety of the American people was the first casualty of his foreign policy. In 2011, he hung up his own “Mission Accomplished” sign and boasted that “The long war in Iraq will come to an end by the end of this year.” It did not and would not.
Obama claimed that his withdrawal from Iraq and his invasion of Libya were both examples of successful policies. Both countries are now ISIS playgrounds. The “sovereign, stable and self-reliant” Iraq he told the country we were leaving behind was a myth. The new Libya was an equally imaginary and unreal place. ISIS gained power and influence as a result of that chaos. And it used that influence to kill Americans.
Today the battle for Fallujah is raging. When ISIS first took the city, Obama breezily dismissed them as a JayVee team. He specifically insisted that ISIS posed no serious threat to America. “There is a distinction between the capacity and reach of a bin Laden and a network that is actively planning major terrorist plots against the homeland versus jihadists who are engaged in various local power struggles and disputes, often sectarian.”
“Fallujah is a profoundly conservative Sunni city… And how we think about terrorism has to be defined and specific enough that it doesn’t lead us to think that any horrible actions that take place around the world that are motivated in part by an extremist Islamic ideology are a direct threat to us,” he said.
It is now blatantly and indisputably obvious that ISIS is a direct threat to us. Orlando is yet another reminder of how deeply wrong Obama was about ISIS. Instead of taking action, Obama chose to ignore the expansion of ISIS until it had become a major threat. As a result of its victories, Al Qaeda in Iraq went from an Al Qaeda affiliate to declaring the Islamic State while commanding the allegiance of Muslims around the world. Omar Mateen was one of those Muslims.
If Obama had not dismissed ISIS early on, it would never have gained the level of support that it did. And the Orlando massacre might never have happened.
But Obama was not the only proudly neglectful parent of ISIS. The two key elements in the rise of ISIS were the withdrawal from Iraq and the Arab Spring. The withdrawal gave ISIS freedom of action in Iraq allowing it and its Shiite frenemies in Baghdad to roll back the stability of the Surge. The Arab Spring however destabilized the region so badly that ISIS was able to expand into countries like Syria and Libya. The migration of Jihadists into the region swelled its ranks enormously and turned it from a local problem into a global one.
And the Arab Spring was a project of Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton. Obama created space for ISIS in Iraq, but Hillary Clinton opened the door for the rise of ISIS in Libya and Syria. Together they helped make ISIS into a regional and then a global player.
Hillary Clinton tried to blame the “internet” for the Orlando attack. But Al Gore’s magical internet did not shoot 49 people in Orlando. For that matter it did not “radicalize” Omar Mateen.
Omar, like many other Muslims, was impressed by the ISIS victories that Hillary’s Islamic regime change project had made possible. He viewed these triumphs not as the result of a disastrous State Department and White House policy, but as proof of the religious authority of ISIS. Omar wanted to join the fight.
Muslim terrorism existed before ISIS. It will exist after ISIS. But there is no doubt that the Islamic State’s claim to having revived the Caliphate and its impressive string of victories against the Iraqi military convinced many Muslims that they were religiously obligated to follow its orders.
And these orders were quite explicit.
ISIS had called for attacks in America during Ramadan. “Hurt the Crusaders day and night without sleeping, and terrorize them so that the neighbor fears his neighbor,” ISIS had told Muslims in the US,
Omar answered the call in Orlando.
Attempting to blame fellow Americans for the actions of ISIS, as Obama has done by emphasizing gun control, only plays into the hands of the Muslim terror group behind the attack. The NRA did not carry out this attack. ISIS did. And ISIS benefited from Obama and Hillary’s foreign policy which allowed it to expand its reach and its popularity until its network of Muslim supporters could strike anywhere.
Obama and Hillary do not want to discuss the role that they played in creating the global conditions that led to the Orlando attack. It’s more convenient for them to blame it on Republicans by emphasizing gun control or homophobia, but discussing an ISIS attack without mentioning ISIS is like talking about WW2 without mentioning Nazi Germany. It’s intellectually dishonest and strategically senseless.
The Orlando massacre was not a local event, but a global one. It must be viewed within the context of a series of ISIS attacks in Europe and America. And ISIS became a global threat on Obama’s watch.
During these pivotal years, Hillary Clinton was the highest ranking foreign policy figure in the country. It is absurd for her to argue that she bears no responsibility for the rise of ISIS. And Hillary Clinton has even defended Obama over his “JayVee” dismissal of ISIS as a direct threat to America.
The Orlando massacre is yet another example of the consequences of Obama and Hillary’s foreign policy. It is not the first such consequence and it will not, by any means, be the last.

Seven Refugees With Active TB Sent to Idaho
by Michael Patrick Leahy
Seven refugees with active tuberculosis (TB) were diagnosed shortly after their resettlement in Idaho between 2011 and 2015, according to the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare. This makes Idaho the seventh state to confirm to Breitbart News that recently arrived refugees have been diagnosed with active TB.
The other states in which recently arrived refugees have been diagnosed with active TB include: Louisiana (twenty-one), Florida (eleven), Colorado, (ten), Indiana (four), Kentucky (where nine were diagnosed in one county), and North Dakota (where four refugees who resided in the United States for less than five years were diagnosed in one county).
Idaho is one of fourteen states that have withdrawn from the federal refugee resettlement program where the federal government has hired a voluntary agency (VOLAG) to resettle refugees under the statutorily questionable Wilson Fish alternative program.
In Idaho, the federal government has contracted the Idaho Office for Refugees (IOR), a division of the large non-profit known as Janus, to run the program. Janus is one of the largest organizations within the lucrative and politically connected refugee resettlement industry, which is paid more than $1 billion per year by the federal government......To Read More.....

Media equating Syrian refugees with Pilgrims
Limbaugh: 'It's criminal the way these people have rewritten history'
While the Pilgrims who came to America in 1620 have been portrayed by some in the media in recent years as villains who sparked genocide against Native Americans, 2015 appears to be an exception, at least at the Huffington Post. A new column by Igor Bobic, an associate politics editor at the website, tries to equate the Pilgrims’ story to the current situation involving the influx of Syrian refugees, as Bobic writes, “It’s worth keeping in mind that the U.S. has a long history of taking in refugees.”
Bobic continued, “When the Mayflower pilgrims landed in New England in the early 17th century, they established a harvest celebration that would later become known as Thanksgiving by sitting down with Native Americans gracious enough to share their land and way of life. And, well, we all know how that turned out.”........Read more

Idaho 'rape': Obama prosecutor 'silencing Americans with threats of arrest'
Case draws blistering criticism from constitutional lawyers
Reaction to threatening comments from President Obama’s U.S. attorney in Idaho following the release of two Muslim boys accused of sexually assaulting a 5-year-old girl have been swift and severe. Wendy J. Olson, the U.S. attorney for Idaho, indicated in a statement Friday that Idahoans who spread “false or inflammatory information” about the alleged Muslim perpetrators may be subject to prosecution. The boys accused are ages 14, 10 and 7, and their families have been evicted from the Fawnbrook Apartments in Twin Falls, where the assault allegedly took place.
The two older boys are immigrants from Sudan and the youngest is from Iraq. They are believed to be refugees but the government has yet to say exactly how they entered the country, only that they have come “within the last two years.” The Olson statement that is drawing fire from First Amendment advocates is as follows: “The spread of false information or inflammatory or threatening statements about the perpetrators or the crime itself reduces public safety and may violate federal law.”.......Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan can call for 10,000 black men to “rise up,” “stalk” and “kill” white cops and that is considered protected speech by a U.S. Attorney in Florida, Horowitz said. But citizens in Idaho are somehow forbidden from commenting on an explosive local criminal case involving a heinous crime against a special-needs girl unable to defend herself.......

FEMA Contractor Predicts 'Social Unrest' Caused by 395% Food Price Spikes
Motherboard
The US national security industry is planning for the impact of an unprecedented global food crisis lasting as long as a decade, according to reports by a government contractor. The studies published by CNA Corporation in December 2015, unreported until now, describe a detailed simulation of a protracted global food crisis from 2020 to 2030.
The simulation, titled ‘Food Chain Reaction’, was a desktop gaming exercise involving the participation of 65 officials from the US, Europe, Africa, India, Brazil, and key multilateral and intergovernmental institutions. The scenario for the ‘Food Chain Reaction’ simulation was created by experts brought in from the State Department, the World Bank, and agribusiness giant Cargill, along with independent specialists. CNA Corp’s Institute for Public Research, which ran the simulation, primarily provides scientific research services for the Department of Homeland Security and the Federal Emergency Management Agency.
Held from November 9-10 in 2015, the “game” attempted to simulate a plausible global food crisis triggered by “food price and supply swings amidst burgeoning population growth, rapid urbanization, severe weather events, and social unrest.”......To Read More....

What are military UN trucks doing in Virginia? Bemused motorists spot white 'combat vehicles' on the interstate
By Charlie Moore For Mailonline
Military U.N. vehicles have been spotted in Virginia, shocking motorists and sparking conspiracy theories. The white trucks, equipped with large off-road tires, were seen being transported on Interstate 81 on Friday. They appear to be Alpine Armoring's Pit-Bull VX SWAT Truck models. Jeff Stern posted photos of the vehicles on Facebook, writing: 'Can't begin to tell you how many of these I passed today on 81 near Lexington VA. Interesting times ahead!'.......Read more
BREAKING: Supreme Court Strikes Down Pro-life Texas Law
Cortney O'Brien
After weeks of indecision, the Supreme Court has ruled on Whole Woman’s Health v. Hellerstedt. The legislation in question, HB2, requires abortion clinics to obtain admitting privileges from local hospitals as well as meet building specifications - guidelines which would shutter dozens of abortion clinics in the state. The rule was upheld in a 5th circuit court. On Monday, however, the Supreme Court struck down the law in a 5-3 vote......To Read More.....
My Take - Okay George Will....explain to me again why electing Hillary would be better for the nation than Trump? Scalia's gone and the next President will appoint someone to take his place. Right now it's supposedly 4 to 4. Hillary will make it a leftist 4 to 5 mix. Ruth Bader Ginsberg is 83 and clearly failing. She quite possibly could be gone within four years solidifying the 4 to 5 mix for decades. Kennedy is 79 and Breyer is 77. Both more than capable of being gone in the next four years. That would end up making it a 3 to 6 mix for decades more. What are you thinking George? You've lost your mind.

Pope Stands By 'Genocide' Remark, Says Christians Should Ask Gays For Forgiveness
Joe Pappalardo
While flying back to Rome from Armenia Sunday, Pope Francis addressed questions regarding respect for gay people and his recent remarks on the Armenian "genocide." Francis spoke to reporters during an in-flight press conference, emphasizing apologies from Christians to the poor, exploited women, and child laborers. He pointed out that many great priests and holy people go unnoticed "because holiness is modest." He quoted the Catechism of the Catholic Church in his statements on homosexuality, saying:......To Read More.....

Why the Left Hates Referendums
Dennis Prager
One of the common laments of leftist commentators in Europe and America concerning Brexit is that holding referendums is a bad idea. The most frequently expressed example is the contempt in which the left holds British Prime Minister David Cameron for having suggested the referendum in the first place. But why would the left hate referendums? Doesn't it claim to represent "the people"? Isn't "power to the people" one of the most popular sayings of the left? Isn't the American left trying to abolish the Electoral College precisely because it isn't directly representative of "the people's" will?
One would imagine, therefore, that if anyone would welcome referendums it would be the left. So, what gives? The answers explain a great deal about the left. First, the left cares about "the people" as much as the Soviet Communist Party cared about the workers. For the left, real people are either political fodder or, when they support the left, useful idiots.

Hold The Line: Speaker Ryan Vows To Not Tolerate House Democrats Occupying Congress Again
Matt Vespa
If Democrats want to stage another sit-in on the House floor, it’s not going to be tolerated in the manner prior to the Fourth of July recess. Democrats have been trying to place pressure on congressional Republicans to hold votes on gun control, which are destined to fail along party lines. Democrats say they’re creating havoc to raise awareness on the issue of gun violence, as if this likely terrorist attack wasn’t reason enough to realize that there are bad people out there who will from time to time commit horrific acts. Regardless, House Democrats are vowing to take their gun control message to their already anti-gun districts over the Independence Day recess. Yet, Speaker Ryan has warned them about their antics once the House reconvenes (via The Hill):.....Oh, 26 Democrats who participated in the sit-in are gun owners. .......To Read More....

Why All the Post-Brexit Hysteria?
Troy Vincent
The night after the vote for an independent United Kingdom from the European Union had concluded I found myself at dinner with my wife trying to explain why the world portrayed by many financial analysts and news outlets was so filled with doom and gloom. “Why does the UK leaving the EU necessitate a global or UK financial meltdown?” she asked. And then it hit me, this was the question the world’s largest financial publications were failing to ask, or at the very least to answer honestly.
The answer to this question can be as complex as you would like to make it, but the clear and simple answer is this: the UK leaving the EU fundamentally necessitates neither of these things. To justify this simple answer we need only consider what affords a national economy its productivity. The intellect of the talented people of the UK that create value, the infrastructure, the primary institutions, and the capital goods that allow individuals to turn their time into valuable outputs have not changed. It is not as if London’s financial district or the many manufacturing industries around the UK were decimated by a meteor and must be rebuilt from the ground up. Physically and intellectually the UK is the same today as it was the day before the vote to secede.
So, what then is causing all of the commotion?. ......To Read More....

Al Qaeda Urges Lone Wolves to Target Whites, to Avoid ‘Hate Crime’ Label
Fox News, June 27, 2016
Lone wolf jihadists should target white Americans so no one mistakes their terror attacks for hate crimes unrelated to the cause of radical Islam, Al Qaeda writes in the latest edition of its online magazine
.
In an article first reported by The Foreign Desk, Al Qaeda of the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP) called for more self-directed Muslim terrorists to kill in America. But the article, titled “Inspire guide: Orlando operation,” tells terrorists to “avoid targeting places and crowds where minorities are generally found” because if gays or Latinos appear to be the targets, “the federal government will be the one taking full responsibility.”In the June 12 attack in Orlando, Omar Mateen killed 49 people and injured 53 inside a gay nightclub. Although Mateen, who was later killed by police, told hostage negotiators he pledged allegiance to ISIS, U.S. Attorney General Loretta Lynch has characterized the attack as a hate crime against gays.......To Read More.....
Grey’s Anatomy Star Jesse Williams Earns a Standing Ovation After Powerful BET Awards Speech Denouncing Racism in America
Euan McLelland,
Grey’s Anatomy actor Jesse Williams won a standing ovation at last night’s BET Awards after a rousing acceptance speech calling for black America to unite against a ‘system built to divide and impoverish’. The Black Lives Matter activist was declared humanitarian of the year at the annual prize-giving. But far from resting on his laurels, the former public school teacher used his moment in the spotlight to continue his work highlighting the continuing plight of black people in the United States.
My Take - Another firm candidate for the Club For The Galacticly Stupid, along with the audience too!
Once again - who impregnated all those black women and then abandoned them creating a 70 percent illigimacy rate in the black community? Who are killing blacks in America? Other blacks! Who are selling drugs to the black community? Other blacks! Why are black kids who do well in school villified as acting white? Why do black kids not go to school? Why do black kids perpetrate so much violence when they go to school? Why do they fail to finish school? Those are things that fall under the category of individual responsibility, and are fundamental for any society to be successful. Blacks choose not to act responsibly - so why is that the fault of white America?
So now tell me exactly what it is whites are doing to keep blacks down that could possibly be more detrimental than their own actions? If you really want to blame someone - blame the very people he's lauding because as leaders of their community they've failed to address the real issues destroying black America finding it easier - and profitable - to blame others for their failures.

Mr. Vargas is an open homosexual and illegal immigrant from the Philippines who makes a living denouncing the wicked ways of the nation of which he apparently wants to be a citizen. It has often been said that Obama’s greatest shortcoming is his lack of business experience. In addition to the failed multi-billion-dollar rollout of ObamaCare, consider a short list of the president’s other signature miscalculations:
-
Continuing to block construction of the Keystone XL pipeline, thus imperiling our nation’s energy independence and blocking the creation of thousands of new jobs
- Threatening yet another big tax increase every year, further slowing growth and recovery now and for years to come.
Increasing the federal minimum wage to over $10 an hour, putting the unemployed, especially minorities, at even greater long-term risk.
BREAKING: ISIS Releases Video Naming These U.S. Cities As Their Next Targets [VIDEO]

In a video released by ISIS members over the weekend, the Orlando mass murderer Omar Mateen was praised, and new attacks were threatened against San Francisco and Las Vegas. Larossa Abballa’s live footage from inside his victims’ home is also shown. Abballa’s June 13 attack just outside Paris involved killing a police station secretary and her husband in front of their 3-year-old son. Abballa was eventually shot and killed by police. Also shown in the ISIS video is footage of parts of San Francisco, including the Golden Gate Bridge and the California Street tower – the second tallest building in the city – as well as Las Vegas. Senate Committee Proposes One of Largest Reductions in General Officers in History
By Constitution.com /From the Daily Caller News Foundation:
The Senate Armed Services Committee (SASC) recently proposed a 25 percent reduction across the board for general officers. The bill would cut the number of four star officers from 41 to 27, representing one of the largest reductions in modern history. A summary of the committee’s bill states the drawdown in general officers also applies at the three, two, and one-star levels. The majority staff reasons, “Over the past 30 years, the end-strength of the joint force has decreased 38 percent, but the ratio of four-star officers to the overall force has increased by 65 percent.”......these generals represent bureaucratic hurdles for war-fighters to jump through, making routine authorizations complex procedures. My Take - When I was in the service I despised the officers....I still despise the officers and I've been out for almost fifty years. I used to wonder just exactly what they did all day long. I'm not talking about combat officers....at least we know they're leading men into danger. But the rear echelon crowd is different. It always seemed to me they had little to do except find petty ways to assert their power over enlisted personnel who were helpless to do anything about it. Chief Petty Officers carried out the day to day operations - so what exactly do they do all day long? I know they loved the Officer's Club!
And at the General Staff level - unless there's a real war such as WWII - I have even less confidence they're dong anything except polishing the apple, feathering their nests and wasting our money. And struting.....they're really good at strutting.....along with worrying someone didn't salute them. This was especially true among the junior officers, many of whom were ROTC officers who gave me the impression they were geeks who were picked on when they were kids and now it was their turn. I found them to be smug, arrogant and petty. In four years I only found one officer worth spit, and he didn't do anything. But at least he left us alone.
I didn't like the service but as I tell people - and only those who served really understand this - you couldn't pay me a million dollars to repeat it, but you couldn't pay me a million dollars to have missed it.

Guess How DHS is Planning on Fighting Islamic Terrorism Now?
By Dave Jolly
Have you ever heard of the Council on American Islamic Relations? According to their website:
Now the Department of Homeland Security is about to stop using normal Islamic terms, including ‘jihad’, ‘sharia’, ‘takfir’ and ‘umma.’ Jihad means ‘holy war’ which is what most Islamic extremist groups such as Hamas, Palestinian Liberation Organization, Al-Qaeda, Boko Haran, Taliban and ISIS, justify their violent actions are. Sharia is the strict legal code of conduct that governs many Muslims and justifies their beating, raping, burning and murdering of their women and girls. Takfir refers to the excommunication of a Muslim accused of unbelief. Umma refers to a community of Muslims. Additionally, they want to change ‘Muslim Americans’ to ‘American Muslims’ to make them seem more a part of the America we all love and hold dear that the Muslims are trying to destroy........To Read More.....
Have you ever heard of the Council on American Islamic Relations? According to their website:
“The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) is a grassroots civil rights and advocacy group. CAIR is America’s largest Muslim civil liberties organization, with regional offices nationwide. CAIR’s national headquarters are on Capitol Hill in Washington D.C. Since its establishment in 1994, CAIR has worked to promote a positive image of Islam and Muslims in America. Through media relations, government relations, education and advocacy, CAIR puts forth an Islamic perspective to ensure the Muslim voice is represented. In offering this perspective, CAIR seeks to empower the American Muslim community and encourage their participation in political and social activism.
Government Affairs
CAIR’s government affairs department conducts and organizes lobbying efforts on issues related to Islam and Muslims. The department monitors legislation and government activities and responds on behalf of the American Muslim community. CAIR representatives have testified before Congress and have sponsored a number of activities designed to bring Muslim concerns to Capitol Hill.”Evidently, their lobbying efforts in Washington DC are quite successful as they are having a great deal of impact on the Obama administration, especially the White House and the Department of Homeland Security. Four years ago, they persuaded the FBI to stop using terms that were offensive to Muslims in their training material. The Obama administration ordered federal government employees to stop using terms like ‘Islamic extremism’ and ‘Islamic terrorists.’

Terrorist Group Hezbollah Admits They Get Their Money From Obama’s Buddies
By Jeff Dunetz
Who says Barack Obama has no accomplishments. According to Hezbollah head Hassan Nasrallah on Friday, he doesn’t worry about U.S. sanctions against Lebanese banks who deal with his terrorist groups, they get all their money, weapons, etc., from the U.S. President’s buddies in the terrorist regime of Iran. And thanks to the nuclear deal Obama shoved down the throats of Americans, Iran’s had a fresh influx of at least $100 billion dollars to share with groups like Hezbollah.

Commentator George Will’s distaste for Donald Trump reportedly has him waving goodbye to the Republican party and sending a shocking message to GOP voters: Hillary Clinton is the better option......But former Alabama GOP Chairman Marty Connors said while Will’s intellectual aversion to the populist presidential nominee may make waves in the nation’s capital, it’s unlikely to sway many voters.
“Washington, D.C., and those who live upon it are part of the bubble,” Connors said. “They are not necessarily in touch with the rest of the country.” Connors called Will’s proposal to write off the 2016 race and focus on 2020 “shortsighted” given the likelihood of numerous Supreme Court vacancies coming up in the next four years. “I’m sure he’ll be applauded by those who are in the bubble,” Connors said. “But those of us in America will think differently.”....To Read More...

Commentary by Jim Beers: The Same Tired Nostrums
Am I the only one seeing the fatally-flawed EU bureaucratic processes in the never-ending reporting of increasingly horrific and unmanageable wildfires in the western US? Your article, “Dead Trees Intensify Wildfire Risk” is but the latest in recent years of the government land-owning bureaucrats (USFS, NPS, USFWS, BLM, States, et al) blaming “Drought, extreme heat and high winds” and American journalists busily copying down their words and calling it “reporting”.
I submit it is intentionally misleading to blame “Bark beetles, heat and California’s five-year drought” for “66 million” dead trees. Think about, ask about and then report about:
I submit it is intentionally misleading to blame “Bark beetles, heat and California’s five-year drought” for “66 million” dead trees. Think about, ask about and then report about:
- All of the expanding government land ownership (and private property eased with government funding) where forest management of trees and range management of forage plants (fuel for fires) have been eliminated by regulations, policies, and philosophies of agencies that have vilified logging and sawmills; grazing and ranching; access roads (used for access to fight fires and make breaks) just as they have hunters, trappers and other legitimate users, uses of and generators of revenue for management from Renewable Natural Resources from the land and the economic lifeblood of rural communities.
- The effects of radical environmental policies and programs adopted by government land-managers and the bureaucratic workforces in recent years from Wilderness and Roadless Areas to “Critical” Habitat Declarations (think Spotted Owl) and government bureaucracies as tyrannical enemies (the correct word) of rural residents, rural communities, Local governments and the revenues that they must have to exist.
- The philosophical and human values in both bureaucracies and Universities underpinning current government land non-management and former government Renewable Natural Resources management. Examine the rural worlds they once were, and now are, responsible for creating in addition to fewer catastrophic fires and widespread destruction of Rural America within, around and near these government fire pits.
“66 Million Dead trees” were once live trees that if carefully managed through logging would be far more resistant to beetles, drought and other natural mayhem. Fires are much more manageable to contain when roads (logging, access, et al) exist and water is not off-limits because of some fish. Fuel is what burns, and fuel is much more limited (and fires less intense and difficult to fight) when forest and range plants are limited by logging and the grazing of healthy wild and domestic animals.
If there was a “BREXIT” vote for Rural Americans (unencumbered by urban idealists’ votes and political majorities that are insulated from their government-enforced imaginings) Americans would all be even more surprised than the British and European “establishment” was by the results of “BREXIT”.

Documents uncover secret coordination among ‘independent’ anti-biotechnology scientists, activists

The organic food movement has been surprisingly quiet about the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests several of us have submitted on university scientists working with them (which can be found here and here). I give them some credit for that, any movement that submits their own such requests in the name of transparency should be willing to take what they dish out.
So it actually took me by surprise to see one organization call these requests malicious. GMWatch, run by Jonathan Matthews and Claire Robinson, was quick to applaud the requests submitted by US Right To Know. When the tables were turned they lashed out like a rabid dog backed into a corner......
Why would they act this way? What were they afraid of? Jonathan Matthews and Claire Robinson, along with their organization, are British. Neither of them are university scientists. A FOIA request here in the United States should not impact them in any way.....This illusion of independence shattered by these emails also extends to the Consumer’s Union. Claiming to be “Unconstrained by advertising or other commercial influences“, they claim to be an independent nonprofit and unbiased. Yet their Senior Scientist, Michael Hansen, is also found collaborating with Mesnage and even endorsing the addition of more people to the list........To Read More....
