Harry and Meghan: Why is the World Listening to These Nitwits?

I really get sick of these "celebrities" who while living way beyond the means of regular working people whine and cry ....oh poor me...poor, poor me!  Get real losers!

When the celebrity crowd does it I gag, mostly because yesterday they were parking cars and pumping ass and now because they can sing, dance, act, or play sports better than everyone else their views on science, psychology, history, politics, domestic and geopolitical......and well___________just fill in the blank, are sought out by equally vacuous reporters and interviewers.  And untold millions think their really smart.   Sure, they spoke lines they never wrote which makes them look smart, but most of them are part of the Nitwit Brigade of the Club For the Galactically Stupid, and they're not the worst. But at least they got paid for doing something. 

Then there's Harry and Meghan, of the "All Things Great and Small are Racist" road show, and I had hoped to never write another piece about these two misfits but they just won't do what they said they wanted to do.  Just leave the limelight and enjoy their lives.  Really, that's what they claimed, but their actions are demonstrably different. 

Dr. Michael J. Hurd posted this piece on his website, Harry & Meghan: A Couple About NOTHING, saying:

Are you, like me, sick of hearing about Harry & Meghan? You cannot escape these people. They are everywhere. Why are they everywhere? News and entertainment corporations exist to make a profit. They’ll scream that they (as good corporate socialist-wokesters) don’t care for profit, but the fact remains: they make huge profits. And (these days) they make huge profits by talking about, interviewing and focusing on Harry & Meghan.  So we’re hearing about Harry & Meghan because millions and millions of people find them interesting, enlightening — and even admirable.

 

Harry has divulged all his hidden sins, even use of hard drugs, and how he wasn't treated well by his brother when they were little, and is now swirling down the drain faster than California, and by his own lips has now demonstrated he has no admirable characteristics worth emulating whatsoever.

 

It is amazing how until Meghan entered the picture Harry and his brother were clearly fast friends. What happened?  Meghan happened.   A selfish, self promoting, narcissist, and a professional victim, with Harry being so shallow as a human being she opened his eyes to "All things Great and Small are Racist", and turned him into as big a waste as she.

These are two misfits with a huge fortune demanding everything from everyone and offering nothing of value to anyone.  They're the perfect leftist snowflake Wokesters, in short, Hurd calls them what they are, parasites. 

Hurd ends his piece with this thought:

If listening to these two twisted sycophants crying on a couch to some Oprah-like interviewer actually uplifts you, I shudder for the future of your soul.

Much of this was perfectly predictable.  When they got married I had said to friends, and my mother, there's going to be trouble.  That was instinct on my part, and it was not received well by any of them.   What ended up happening is far worse than anything even I predicted, and there certainly has been trouble.  

And it turns out the bug man was right again.  Imagine that! It's almost scary!

We Demand Bread and Circuses!

Let me start by saying the last thing in the world I would want to be is an English Royal, and for obvious reasons.  So I could easily understand Meghan's difficulties, but I found her explanations of racism self-serving and totally dubious.  As for Harry's desire to be left alone, which is an attitude I can certainly applaud, but in both cases I have to ask:  If that was really true, why do they act in ways that makes sure no one leaves them alone?

Where you aware of the fake "Royal Tour" to NYC by Harry and Meghan (actually perhaps I should be saying Meghan and Harry in order to clarify the relationship).   No?  Me neither, and neither was Thomas Lifson author of, Harry and Meghan’s ‘made-for-Netflix’ fake royal tour of New York, who posts a video by a Aussie commentator who outlines a growing view of people who recognize this couple's lack of class, dignity, vacuous hypocrisy and utter lack of credibility with this comment regarding a must see video:

Andrew Bolt is an Australian writer and TV commentator who deserves a wide audience here. I read a lot of his material that appears in the Murdoch-owned Aussie newspapers, sent to me by Australians.   Even (or especially) if you despise these egomaniacal shallow celebrities, this video will reward your investment of time.

I think these two vacuum tubes are totally meaningless to the world and the important events that really do impact humanity.   Furthermore, I hope I have the good sense to never publish another thing about either of them for the rest of my life. 

I put them in the same category as professional sports. Too expensive, too time consuming, too leftist, and a distraction from the real issues of the world, as were the Games of Rome.  We're now emulating the Romans demanding bread and circuses. 

Roman politicians passed laws in 140 AD to keep the votes of poorer citizens, by introducing a grain dole: giving out cheap food and entertainment, "bread and circuses", became the most effective way to rise to power.

Juvenal here makes reference to the Roman practice of providing free wheat to Roman citizens as well as costly circus games and other forms of entertainment as a means of gaining political power. The Annona (grain dole) was begun under the instigation of the popularis politician Gaius Sempronius Gracchus in 123 BC; it remained an object of political contention until it was taken under the control of the autocratic Roman emperors.

Rome had become a gigantic welfare state, and it fell because they failed in understanding their history, affirming their responsibilities and allowed tyranny and corruption to become so malignant they finally went broke.  

Can anyone explain to me why what's happening now is any different?
