Maria Bartiromo: DOJ inspector general report due out Friday and covers 'more than just FISA abuse'

by Daniel Chaitin October 13, 2019

Fox Business anchor Maria Bartiromo says her sources are telling her an extensive report by Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz on alleged Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act abuses by the Justice Department and the FBI will be released by the end of next week.

Bartiromo, who is the first journalist to report an exact release date, discussed what she had learned on her Fox News show, Sunday Morning Futures, with two Republican congressmen who deduced that former high-ranking government officials are bracing for a scathing critique.

"I’m hearing the IG report will be out this upcoming Friday, Oct. 18, and my sources say it’s as thick as a telephone book," Bartiromo said, adding that it covers "more than just FISA abuse." .....To Read More....

A sure sign Democrats are scared of the revelations coming in IG Horowitz's report on the FISA warrants

July 22, 2019 By Thomas Lifson

We still don't know when the much delayed Inspector General's Report on the FISA warrants used to spy on the Trump campaign will come out, but it looks as though it might be fairly soon. Prior to release of any IG report, the people mentioned in it are shown the sections concerning them and offered the opportunity to state their rebuttal or comments.

That process may be underway, it appears. That's because Representative Adam Schiff, the leading Russia Hoax conspiracy theorist, who would likely hear about sections of the report sent to his friends for comment, is pre-emptively attempting to discredit Horowitz himself.

Daniel Chaitin reports in the Washington Examiner: ...............That's right: Schiff is complaining that a government worker was too efficient and timely in his work, and that therefore discredits him.

Only in the federal government could such an argument be made with a straight face.........To Read More.....

Why We're Still Waiting On The DOJ Inspector General Report On Alleged Obama FISA Abuses

Matt Vespa @mvespa1 Jul 06, 2019

Well, we’re still waiting on the report from Department of Justice Inspector General Michael Horowitz on alleged FISA abuses. It’s said to be scorching. It could air out all the dirty laundry the Obama DOJ and intelligence chiefs were trying to keep hidden during the 2016 election. They’re nervous. Why do you think there have been more leaks than the Iraqi Navy regarding this story in the past few months? Oh, and this coming after Attorney General William Barr said he’s looking into the origins of the whole Russia probe...........To Read More....

My Take - I've been saying for some time the "little people", and I'm not talking about leprecauns, would come forward with the phrase,  "Let's Make A Deal", in order to save themsleves, which was going to be heard by the "bigger people", like Lynch, Comey, Mueller, Brennan, Clapper and others, who will start saying, "Let's Make a Deal", and the BIG PEOPLE, like Obama and the Clintons will have to start preparing for prison.  Then the Deep State can really start being dismantled, with prison terms.

Comey’s top FBI lawyer James Baker admits he’s ’nervous,’ opens some distance between himself and the conspirators

We just got a glimpse of the coming lines of defense for the deposed political cabal that formerly ran the FBI, as well as the limits of loyalty among them.

Former FBI General Counsel James Baker spoke in public Friday, before a very friendly crowd at the Brookings Institution, where his pal Benjamin Wittes, a fellow there, organized a public event where the two men spoke. He revealed some useful indications of what’s going on among the cabal that weaponized the FBI’s counterintelligence apparatus against candidate and then President Donald Trump.

Jerry Dunleavy of the Washington Examiner reports:................

So, he’s blaming “mistakes” not conscious planning for the abuses he knows will be uncovered. He has not turned state’s evidence.  But most importantly, Baker seems to be allowing that others may have committed crimes and concealed them from him:........He went to define himself as not a conspirator, not a rat, but maybe a dupe:.......Baker also is sticking to the Party Line that the FISA warrants were lawful: .............Read more

My Take - Does anyone besides me think these people suffer from a severe case of cognitive dissonance?  And is it possible for Comey to say anything that doesn't incriminate himself and the FBI for treason?  Comey calls it 'totally normal' to plant an FBI spy in a political campaign?

I think this cartoon says it all.
