There have always been homeless people in Portland, but last summer Michelle Cardinal noticed a change outside her office doors.  Almost overnight, it seemed, tents popped up in the park that runs like a green carpet past the offices of her national advertising business. She saw assaults, drug deals and prostitution. Every morning, she said, she cleaned human feces off the doorstep and picked up used needles.

“It started in June and by July it was full-blown. The park was mobbed,” she said. “We’ve got a problem here and the question is how we’re going to deal with it.”

The city is booming, and the homeless are more visible than ever before. Skyrocketing rents, cripplingly low vacancy rates and a severe shortage of affordable housing are forcing Portland to re-examine its live-and-let-live attitude in a place where residents have long been tolerant of everything but intolerance............To Read More....

My Take - Ooooops!  Another moment of reality of how socialism works…....when it impacts the socialists.  They first run out of other people’s money and then out of love for their favorite misfit when that misfit become a problem for them.....and then....watch out now.....here it comes......they run out of tolerance!

If these misfit lovers think the problem is a lack of affordable housing let them buy them housing....with their money.
 
President Grant once said the way to get rid of a bad law is to require it’s strictest possible enforcement, so I recommend they get more illegal aliens, homeless, criminals, drug dealers, prostitutes, rapists and murders and put them in tents in downtown, or only the very best neighborhoods of rich Democrats.  Oh...wait....they did that in NYC with the Occupy Wall Street crowd.....and that really worked well. 

Maybe they should ask someone from a conservative minded community to help them overcome this problem.  Nah....they’re stupid, arrogant, self righteous,  holier than thou, constantly spewing out morality lectures and looking down their noses at ....what did Hillary call those who don’t like liberals, or Hillary? “Basket case deplorables”!   And are now they're victims of their own making. 
Good!   Let’em suffer!  But if there are those - especially Hollywood celebrities - who feel that’s not virtuous enough, let them take them to live on their property. 

In the meanwhile - leave the rest of us alone!
