It is important to think about these Second Amendment wins because the media is constantly trying to convince us that America wants gun control. No, they don’t! People act like the NRA somehow overrules the American people. How? Their only source of power comes from the people. It may be true that non-gun owners can be convinced to answer a poll that supports another restriction. But that doesn’t predict their real voting behavior. Law-abiding gun owners, however, know and care deeply about being harassed and restricted by legislation that will not keep anyone safer. The Second Amendment wins because the people who own and carry guns care deeply about it—as reflected not only in their voting but in their spending. Anti-Second Amendment politicians pour contempt on the NRA because they are afraid to name their real enemy: millions of gun owning Americans........

No one ever really thought that this would be an issue in a Republican-held Congress. While the GOP has suffered from its own case of identity dysphoria, we have been confident that the NRA has paid well enough to cover the pressure they would have felt to take away gun rights in the face of the tragic shooting in Orlando. Well, so much for hopes and confidence. We actually have Republicans writing anti-gun legislation. Fox reports.......

Obama says, “I believe the Second Amendment guarantees an individual right to bear arms,” but it’s the remarks he surrounds that statement with that reveal his honest opinion.
