It is one thing to fail to recognize the future effects your actions will have. Many of us are shortsighted this way, especially when it is something about which we feel passionate. It is a whole different thing to ignore all expert advice and moved forward contrary to what we hear.  No one should be surprised that the Liberal Left has done this in Oregon. They have taken their cue from the President and the Democrat-led Congress. If people do not agree with you, just ignore them. There is always the tactic of bullying those who oppose your thinking. My Take - They're going to fix it next year?  Don't bet your life on it - at least as long as Oregon keeps electing the same mentally ill people.  Perhaps a good dose of bankruptsy will be the cure for their mental illness.  I'm willing to bet it will do wonders for the citizens of Oregon.
