Because of her longstanding support for abortion, House Minority Leader Nancy
Pelosi (D-Calif.), a Catholic, must be denied Communion under the law of the
Catholic Church, said Cardinal Raymond Burke, head of the highest court at the
Vatican.
Cardinal Burke referenced
his remarks about Pelosi to Canon Law--the law governing the Catholic Church--and
specifically Canon 915, which says those Catholics who obstinately persevere

My Take – This event must clearly lay a logical
pattern thought that leads to some profound questions that should be answered! If abortion rights are part and parcel of the Democratic
Party's platform - and that part of their platform is immutable - can a
Catholic be a Democrat without being a heretic? Can a heretic take communion? Aren’t heretics excommunicated? If abortion is antithetical to Christian
ethic and Biblical admonition; can any member of any Christian denomination be
a Democrat without being a heretic?
