Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin said it was not surprising that the
"cannibalistic" members Washington's Republican establishment would
turn on Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) for living up to his campaign promises of
defunding and repealing Obamacare.
Palin noted that many Republicans made such promises to get elected, and
that it was "extremely disappointing," but "not surprising"
that the "GOP elephants" "would turn on a senator who is
fulfilling his campaign promises." Palin said senators like Cruz and Sen.
Mike Lee (R-UT) were fighting for the "will of the people,"
"liberty," and "economic justice" by opposing an Obamacare
bill that will hurt working class Americans.
Palin said her father is a science and natural history teacher, but he
never taught her that elephants could eat their own. "You are a teacher, and you never told
me that elephants were cannibalistic," Palin said to her dad. "I wish
I would've known. Then we would have had a different tactic in the way that we
do campaigning.
Palin said "enough is enough" with Obamacare and that it was time
to "undo" the law and implement a patient-centered and market-based
