Folks in the Big Apple are illegally eating things! The
CBS affiliate in New York City today uncovered the scary, secret world of
illegal, underground dinner parties.
No, this is not a joke or a parody, though it will really
feel like one for the first few seconds of the clip. The news casters treat
this situation with the same slightly amazed and shocked tone that they use when they cover the "underground
world of raves." You know which story I'm talking about. Every local news
affiliate runs one every sweeps period. Here's some of the text, but I can't
really do the reading justice:
My Take - Can you imagine? "Oh the Humanity!" Just think....they could be eating....froi gras...or drinking .....oh no....dare I say it......extra large sodas! Who knows what outrages could follow. They may even decide to take showers, live in real houses, have jobs they go to every day, pay their bills, pay their taxes, insist their children have good manners and go to school everyday and actually work hard while they're there..... and .....here it come.....get ready.......treat others with respect.
Why can't these misfits be like the Occupy Wall Street crowd. Now that's the kind of people the news media likes. Dirty, disrespectful, violent, destructive, completely unconcerned about the rights of others, lazy, jobless, leaches on the system, rapists, theives and even convicted terrorists.
