- Bill Gates: Cost of switching to renewables is “beyond astronomical” (Editor's Note: Once again, even when it appears Gates gets it - he doesn't really get it. He wants to take all that money the governments of the world wasted on "renewable" energy and put it into research and development. Why? We need to stop thinking the government is the source of solutions. They're incompetent and corrupt. Why would we think it would be any different with some other initiative? If we want R and D then let private industry do the research, let them do the development, and let them make a fortune from it. That will truly benefit mankind economically and that in turn will make the world's people healthier. Gates may be the richest man on the planet but he should have stuck to computers. RK)
