"But, Hey, the Confederate Battle Flag is Down!"

On July 23^rd, one of my favorite writers, Larry Elder, known as “The Sage From South Central”, published the article, “Under Obama, Blacks Are Worse Off — Far Worse”. 

He notes that “Ninety-five percent of black voters in 2008 voted for then-Sen. Barack Obama. Surely a “progressive” black president would care about, empathize with and understand black America in a way no other president ever has or could, right? Exit polls from Pew Research show that 63 percent of all voters – and 65 percent of Obama voters – cited the economy as the number one reason they voted for him. Iraq was a distant second at 10 percent. Even for black Obama voters, “It’s the economy, stupid.”  “After six years, the report card is in. The grades are not pretty. By every key economic measurement, blacks are worse off under Obama. In some cases, far worse off.

 

He later quotes Chairman of the Congressional Black Caucus Rep. Emanuel Cleaver, D-Mo saying: “If (former President) Bill Clinton had been in the White House and had failed to address this problem, we probably would be marching on the White House.” He repeated the statement 12 months later, when black unemployment stood at 14.1 percent: “As the chair of the Black Caucus, I’ve got to tell you, we are always hesitant to criticize the President. With 14 percent (black) unemployment, if we had a white president we’d be marching around the White House.”

 

But the real question is this.  Why should Obama bother? Why should any Democrat bother except to mouth all the right politically correct clabber to get elected? He received 95% of the black vote for two reasons. First, he's a Democrat and secondly he's black. Since black voters are knee jerk Democratic voters none of the Democrats have to care one whit about what they really think.

Oh sure the radicals within the black activist community embarrassed and humiliated O'Malley, along with Bernie Sanders, and if Hillary had been their they would have exposed her for the hypocrite she is, but if any one of them are nominated they'll vote for the nominee because it's a Democrat.

Blacks are being played by their own "leadership". Did it ever occur to these black Democratic "voters" if ten percent of them voted Republican no Democrat could ever get elected in this country? Did it ever occur to them the Republicans - especially the white Republicans - would trip all over themselves to accommodate them? But most importantly did it ever occur to these black Democratic knee jerk voters their problems are insolvable by anyone outside the black community because their problems are foundational to how they live their lives, which is demonstrated by a 70% black illegitimacy rate.

 

First, they need to marry the women with whom have children, next they have to have a regular job they go to every day - a job they go to on time every day! A job where they actually do the work assigned without giving the boss ten million pounds of attitude, and then leave on time.

After that they've pretty much fixed themselves and have little need of either Democrats or Republicans. But that’s not what these black activist “leaders” are demanding is it? They want more welfare, more free housing, more free food, more free health care in order to create more "slaves" for the Democratic Party plantation. Slaves voting 95% for the party giving away the money other people worked for. That makes the black community in America unfixable.

Does anyone really think Obama is so stupid as to not know that? Does anyone really think all these black activists aren't aware of that? But they don't dare say so because the money stream from which their all guzzling will dry up. If so - and it is - why bother with their jobless rate?  After all, that's what keeps blacks the "victims" needed by these radical leftists to stay in power.

As for Congressional Black Caucus Chairman Rep. Emanuel Cleaver, Democrat from Missouri - he’s part of the problem! What exactly does he have to offer that will fix any of this? Just like all of the so-called black leadership – he has nothing to offer but more of the same. More of what's destroying the black community in America.

Hmmmm – I just had a thought. I was just wondering – does that make him, Obama, and rest of the black “leadership” racists, or self hating blacks? Now that’s an interesting thought – don’t you think?  This becomes an important question since we already know white Democrats are racists or they wouldn't be promoting what history has shown to be so destructive to their constituents.

 “But, hey, the Confederate battle flag is down”, so I guess they can’t be accused of doing nothing….right?
