Wildlife groups, wind industry meet on eagle permit rule

By Julian Hattem

Wildlife advocates and proponents of wind energy visited the White House, meeting with the Obama administration over a regulation that would extend the length of permits that allow energy companies to unintentionally kill protected eagles.
Last week, representatives from four conservation organizations and the American Wind Energy Association (AWEA) got together with administration officials to talk about the rule, which is currently under review at the White House’s regulations office.

My TakeThey got together to “talk” about “the rule”.  Who’s kidding who here?  If any company in American killed even one of the many endangered birds that are being killed by the thousands by these Wind energy Cuisinarts the green movement would be marching on Washington demanding the levy of massive and would demand someone go to jail.  The hypocrisy of these bureaucrats, green activists and elected officials stinks to high heaven.  Is it any wonder they are all despised by so many?  And they did it the old fashioned way; “they earned it”.
