Patriot Neighbors: It Takes Courage and Fortitude to Be a Rock in the Current!

 By Robin Itzler

George Washington “We should not look back unless it is to derive useful lessons from past errors, and for the purpose of profiting by dearly bought experience.”   “Require nothing unreasonable of your officers and men, but see that whatever is required be punctually complied with. Reward and punish every man according to his merit, without partiality or prejudice; hear his complaints; if well founded, redress them; if otherwise, discourage them, in order to prevent frivolous ones. Discourage vice in every shape, and impress upon the mind of every man, from the first to the lowest, the importance of the cause, and what it is they are contending for.”

Abraham Lincoln “If I were to try to read, much less answer, all the attacks made on me, this shop might as well be closed for any other business. I do the very best I know how — the very best I can; and I mean to keep doing so until the end. If the end brings me out all right, what's said against me won't amount to anything. If the end brings me out wrong, ten angels swearing I was right would make no difference.”

GOP IS THE STUPID PARTY: And repeatedly proves it.

One reason many Republicans switch to No Party Preference is because it is embarrassing to be in the “Stupid Party.” In December, House Republicans removed fellow New York Republican George Santos who had not been convicted of any crimes, just indicted. Why didn’t Republicans allow Santos to have due process? Instead, they tossed him out!

This is the same Congress that has NOT ousted Senator Bob “gold bars” Menendez of New Jersey, or Minnesota anti-America, pro-Somalia Representative Ilhan Omar.

The special election for the Long Island district was held on February 13 and Democrat Tom Suozzi won. Now the Republican slim “majority” is even slimmer. Did your Republican representative vote to oust George Santos?

— The list of Republicans who voted to oust Santos. —

Editors Note:  Whether or not I like the man and who he was is immaterial, they acted stupidly, not to mention hypocritically, and I think cowardly.  Here were my thoughts on this. RK

George Santos: The House Has Rules.  Okay, I've managed to offend more people over the course of my life than the vast majority of people, and I have to admit, I'm really quite good at it.  So, I'm going to surprise a bunch more and most likely to offend a few more now.  How?  I'll be doing what I always do.  Define things properly!

There's been a lot of talk about kicking George Santos out of the House, and let's face it, most conservatives, including me,  will find him extremely easy to dislike.  He's gay, he's played the gender transition role, he's lied to get elected beyond anything anyone has seen...probably ever.....and that got him elected, and he's not the least bit repentant of it all.  He's being investigated for financial irregularities, and who knows what all, by just about every authority in the nation, and there's discussion of an ethics hearing in the House. ....

"We don't like you so we're going to ignore the voters and kick you out of your legally elected office."

Okay, I'm all for that, just as long as it applies to every member of the House whose lied....while in office.... officially lied.... like Adam Schiff, and those who promoted violence like Maxine Waters.  Why aren't Republican hypocrites demanding they be expelled from the Congress?  They're guilty of easily proven violations of integrity, and in my opinion serious violations of integrity!  All while in office! ........There are times I say things that need to be said, that I hate saying, but truth, justice and the America way comes in first and foremost.  Pandering to the mob and their narrative of the moment is neither truth, justice nor the American way, and doesn't even come in a far second.  Get over it!......................More

AMERICA’S OPEN NORTHERN BORDER

Say “open border” and most people assume you mean America’s southern border with Mexico. While that’s been the focus, we have had an immense influx of ILLEGAL INVADERS from our northern border with Canada. On February 2, Chief Patrol Agent Robert Garcia, who oversees the Swanton Sector that includes portions of Vermont, New Hampshire, and New York, posted a warning on his X/Twitter account:

The record-breaking surge of illegal entries from Canada continues in the Swanton Sector. Since October 1, 2023, Swanton Sector Border Patrol Agents have apprehended more than 3,100 subjects from 55 countries (more than Fiscal Years 2022, 2021, 2020 and 2019 COMBINED).

In “Northern States See Record Surge in Illegal Border Crossings, Border Patrol Says,” Madelaine Hubbard writes at Just the News:

While data has not been released for January 2024, every month since the start of Fiscal Year 2022, which began in October 2021, the Swanton sector has seen more encounters than that same month the year before, data shows. For example, December 2024 saw more encounters than any other December on record, as did December 2023 and December 2022 by that point.

With minimal election fraud (cough-cough) Donald Trump should rightly return to the White House. However, he will still have a DEEP STATE D.C. government working against America First Patriots. The only way Trump can remove ILLEGAL DEMOCRAT INVADERS is by getting them to self-deport. That means using laws already on the books that would make it extremely difficult for illegals to be employed and/or receive state or federal government freebies.

The next time you reference Biden’s open borders, be sure to include both the south and north borders. Democrats Joe Biden and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, along with RINO Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, and others consistently put America Last. They only care about Ukraine’s borders. Some observers fear that the only way the American people will loudly demand border security will be following a terrorist attack by some of these invaders.

BLACK ENGLISH?

During the 1980s, when Bill Cosby was America’s father, he steadfastly criticized black plantation English. If you’re a diversity hire, you might get away with speaking like you just spent the day picking cotton, but most human resource managers prefer an employee (of any checkbox) who can speak proper English.

Here are some of, George Soros-backed, Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis’ responses when she was on the stand, in her own defense, on February 15. She is accused of having a sexual relationship with Nathan Wade, an attorney she hired to lead the RICO prosecution of President Donald Trump and others. This would be in violation of district attorney policy. Let’s first go back to what Willis said when she was running for office in 2020 and was asked why the people of Fulton County should support her (as the current DA running for re-election had been accused of sexual escapades):

"Because they deserve a DA that won't have sex with his employees, because they deserve a DA that won't put money in their own pocket."

Now here are some verbatim Fani Willis quotes from her testimony:

“He tells me how much it is and I give him the money back… I don’t do my friends like that. So if you tell me it’s a G then you gon get a thousand dollas.”

Willis was asked by a prosecutor: “So, to be clear, you don’t know where the money came from that you gave Mr. Wade for the cruise. Fani Willis answered:

“Nah lady, I keep fat stacks in my mattress okay? The source of the money is the work, sweat, and tears of me!”

Other Willis comments that prove George Soros funds DAs with low IQs:

"Where's Belize? What continent? I'm not being funny. I don't know. I've been to Belize with him. I've been to The Bahamas with him. I've been to Aruba with him. Don't embarrass me. I'm not sure what continents those are on."

“So if you tell me it’s a G, then you gon get a thousand dollas.”

“I don’t do my friends like that.”

SHRINKFLATION: From packaging to jobs

The Consumer Price Index (CPI) increased in January by 0.3 percent, or up 3.1 percent from this time last year. Perhaps 0.3 percent doesn’t sound like much, but expectations were for inflation to go down, not up. (Just like there are expectations that Joe Biden can speak coherently.)

Anyone who regularly grocery shops knows what shrinkflation is. The package looks the same, but there’s less content and it costs more. In the few instances when the price is the same, it’s still costing consumers more because they are purchasing less of the product. Joey videotaped a commercial shown during the Super Bowl where he complained about shrinkflation. Talk about chutzpah! The guy who gave Americans double-digit inflation yaks about the results of double-digit inflation!

But maybe we shouldn’t complain. Here’s more proof that Bidenomics is working out great:

Cisco (digital communications) – Will lay off about 4,000 workers, about 5 percent of its workforce, starting this year and continue into 2025.

Discord (social chat and messaging) – Is letting 170 employees go, or 17 percent of its workforce. Estee Lauder (beauty products) – Is downsizing by saying goodbye to as many as 3,100 workers or 3 to 5 percent of its global workforce.

Flipkart (e-commerce owned by Walmart) – Has announced that it will be laying off 1,000 employees or about 5 percent of its workforce.

FrontDesk (prop tech) – CEO Jesse DePinto fired all 200 employees during a two-minute Google phone call. The company decided to go into state receivership rather than bankruptcy. Google (tech) – Announced it would lay off hundreds of employees from its digital assistant, hardware, and engineering teams.

Macy's (retail) – The giant retailer is laying off 2,350 employees or 3.5 percent of its total headcount. The iconic department store is also closing five locations: Arlington, Virginia; San Leandro, California, Lihue, Hawaii; Simi Valley, California and Tallahassee, Florida. For those of a certain generation who remember the question, Would Gimbles tell Macy’s?, the closures are sad news.

Microsoft (tech) – Announced it would cut 1,900 positions from Activision Blizzard, Xbox and ZeniMax. This will represent 8 percent of the total Microsoft Gaming division.

Paramount Global (media) – Laid off about 800 employees or 3 percent of its workforce on February 13. They own CBS, Paramount Pictures, Pluto TV, Comedy Central, Black Entertainment Television (BET), and others.

REI (outdoor retailer) – Is laying off 357 workers, mostly in the headquarters and distribution centers.

Riot Games (tech developer) – Will let 530 employees or 11 percent of its staff go.

Swiggy (food tech) – Has laid off 400 employees or 7 percent, which are to affect its tech, call center and corporate teams.

Unity Software (video game software) – Is cutting 1,800 positions, about 25 percent of its workforce, according to a regulatory filing.

  15. Xerox (IT) – Will say goodbye to 3,000 employees as it reduces its workforce by 15 percent.

BELKNAP & MAYORKAS: Together forever in history

It’s historic! It hasn’t happened in nearly 150 years! A cabinet secretary is impeached by the House of Representatives!

The last time the U.S. Senate held an impeachment trial for a president’s cabinet member was May 1876, toward the end of Ulysses Grant’s second term. It was for Secretary of War William Belknap. Belknap was known for his extravagant spending including throwing lavish Washington parties hosted with his elegantly dressed wife. Rumors constantly questioned how Belknap could afford such luxuries on his $8,000 annual government salary.

A House of Representatives committee’s investigation found that Belknap was even more corrupt than what they had seen during Grant’s scandal plagued two terms. Belknap’s influence peddling and corruption went back many years.

Hoping to get out of the impeachment, Belknap submitted his resignation to President Grant on March 2, 1876 – just hours before the House was to vote. It didn’t matter. House members voted unanimously to send the Senate five articles of impeachment, charging Belknap with “criminally disregarding his duty as Secretary of War and basely prostituting his high office to his lust for private gain.”

Resigning did not prevent Belknap’s impeachment trial, which was held in May. The Senate heard from 40+ witnesses as House managers argued that resigning did not excuse Belknap from accountability for his multi-years’ crimes.

On a hot August 1, the Senate majority voted against Belknap on all five articles of impeachment. However, the Senate fell short of the required two-thirds majority, and he was acquitted although his reputation had been destroyed. The disgraced Belknap died in 1890.

Now, 148 years later, Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas has been impeached and will face a Senate trial for his multiple failures at securing the borders. Even if Mayorkas isn’t found guilty – since the Senate has a Democrat majority – there will be subpoenas and testimony for the American people to learn more about how the Biden administration has allowed an estimated 10 MILLION ILLEGAL INVADERS to waltz into the United States and receive numerous free government services.

QUESTION: The country that saved Israel in 1948

Following the 1948 United Nations vote to create the State of Israel, Arab nations immediately declared war on the tiny Jewish nation. They assumed it would be a short battle that they would quickly win. Fighting against millions of Arabs who were better equipped, there was one country that saved the Jewish state from annihilation. And it was NOT the United States of America. Which country came to Israel’s rescue during its War of Independence?

ANSWER: Czechoslovakia saved Israel in 1948

In "The Truth About Israel's Founding" by Al Bienenfeld. wrote:

In March 1948, with the United States retreating from the idea of partition, the Soviet Union stood in favor of it and attacked Truman’s trusteeship proposal. If trusteeship were put to a vote, Gromyko warned that the Soviet Union would cast a no vote. The Soviet Union also authorized its satellite, Czechoslovakia, to sell desperately needed arms to Israel. According to Abba Eban, Israel’s first U.N. Ambassador, without the Soviet bloc, “we couldn’t have made it diplomatically or militarily.” Likewise, David Ben-Gurion, Israel’s first prime minister, said, “They (Soviet Union) saved the country, I have no doubt of that.” In her memoirs, Golda Meir similarly wrote that without the arms from the Eastern Bloc, “I do not know whether we actually could have held out until the tide changed as it did by June 1948.” From partition until June, as Meir said, things were grim..............

RFK JR.,: Ignore him at your own peril

It will be a Biden vs Trump rematch in November. (Forget loser Nikki Haley.) On both the REPUBLICAN and DEMOCRAT sides, there are concerns that if Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. becomes the Libertarian Party candidate and thus likely to have his name on the ballot in almost all 50 states, it will disrupt algorithms that party consultants live by. According to Democrat strategist Doug Gordon:

“Hijacking the Libertarian Party ballot line won’t change his odds of winning the presidency, which he has no chance at. But it does increase the odds he could play spoiler and hand the keys to the White House back to Trump.”

On the REPUBLICAN side, Nikki Haley has proven to be as valuable as a Nehru jacket. In “Somebody Should Tell Nikki Haley That She Didn’t Win the Super Bowl,” Stephen Kruiser writes:

“Her harsh anti-Trump bent in recent weeks indicates that she isn't angling for a job in his administration if he gets back to the Oval Office. That means she's just hanging around to undermine him as loudly as she can for as long as she can. Whether the more sensitive in the GOP electorate want to admit it or not, that means she's just undermining the party. Nikki Haley can either decide to be honest about that, or she can keep auditioning for a CNN gig.”

How do you make an expensive Super Bowl political ad go even farther? After the commercial airs during the game, you come out and APOLOGIZE for your Super PAC airing the ad. That makes people who never saw it (including us) want to see what was so bad that you had to apologize.

That’s exactly what INDEPENDENT presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. did following his Super PAC’s ad that updated a campaign ad from his uncle, President John F. Kennedy. RFK Jr. apologized to the Kennedy clan because the ad summoned the family’s legacy, which he is part of but doesn’t own. Want to bet how millions more viewed the ad following the apology?

BUD LIGHT: Did you switch to a more woke beer?

Year over year, Bud Light sales are down 30 percent for the week ending January 20. This is according to Bump Williams Consulting, which analyzed Nielsen IQ data for Fox News. President Trump says it’s time to give the company a second chance.

But the entire beer industry has seen slowing sales simply because millennials and Generation Zers are not drinking as much beer as those before them. In 2023, Michelob Ultra and Busch Light sales were also down. According to industry group Beer Marketer’s “Insights,” beer shipments last year fell below 200 million barrels in the United States. That is the lowest since 1999. A traditional keg in a bar is equal to one-half barrel.

While one brand might be imploding, another brand with the same parent company might be increasing. For instance, Modelo Especial, a Mexican lager, became very popular post MR. Dylan Mulvaney. Group Modelo, is owned by Bud Light’s parent company, Anheuser-Busch InBev. But in the United States, the New York-based Constellation Brands has the license to sell Modelo because of a 2013 agreement when InBev bought Grupo Modelo.

In other words, somehow, some way, Anheuser-Busch is getting the sales even if it’s indirectly through other brands. Still, Bud Light wants its former drinkers to give the company a second chance. ARE WE NOW A SOCIALIST NATION?

Some recent events that make us wonder if the republic can be saved.

USA—Rather than hurt snowflakes’ feelings, many universities and colleges are now listing failing grades as “no credit.” In many instances, the failing classes will not count in the Grade Point Average (GPA). How will that work? A student fails or barely passes math, English, and science, but gets As and Bs in ridiculous courses (such as the history of television comedy) and they graduate college with a high GPA.

Also, professors are grading higher these days. According to Harvard University’s newspaper the Harvard Crimson, in the 2002-03 academic year, mean grades on a four-point scale were 3.41. In 2020-21, it was 3.80 and 70 percent of grades were A’s.

NATIONAL MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS SOCIETY—If this doesn’t make you want to throw up, we are not sure what will. According to news reports, the National Multiple Sclerosis Society stands behind the firing of 90-year-old California VOLUNTEER Fran Itkoff because she breached its diversity and inclusion policy after she was asked to use someone’s pronouns and didn’t know what the other person was talking about. Let’s remember that 90 years ago when Itkoff was born, the United States was still a sane nation. Itkoff has been a volunteer for 60 YEARS! Her late husband ran the Long Beach-Lakewood chapter prior to his death.

ARIZONA—During a recent Senate floor hearing Democrat State Senator Juan Mendez (District 8) said: “Members, I would like to introduce a group of Arizonans—some from my district but they have membership all across the state. They are here to confront the arbitrary, tyrannical authority of religious persecution that’s scheduled for government committee later on today. We are graced with the presence of ministers and members of the Satanic Temple of Arizona. Please stand today. They are at the Capitol today to fight for the rights of their more than 12,000 members of their denomination and the rights of free speech and free exercise of all Arizonans.” To share your thoughts with Senator Mendez:  Click here to email Arizona State Senator Juan Mendez. IS THE TIDE TURNING TO FREEDOM?

With our prayers and involvement, we must have hope of saving our republic. Let’s look at some recent wins that show the tide might be turning in the direction of Conservative Judeo-Christian values. However, we need Republican LEADERSHIP, which seems to be in short supply.

USA—Well-respected sports broadcaster Bob Costas was on Real Time with Bill Maher where they discussed transgender athletes in women’s sports. During his February 9 appearance, Costas said: "If someday the best player in the WNBA can play in the NBA," he said, "everybody would applaud. But if the worst guy at the end of the bench on the worst team in the NBA went to the WNBA and averaged 40 points a game, everybody knows that's bullshit."

Later in the conversation, the legendary Costas added:

"It's not transphobic to say, 'Let's inject some common sense here.' "

PHIL M.—CALIFORNIA

Make the General Election Schiff vs Porter! Vote for any of these Republicans, Eric Early, or Denice Gary Pandol, or James Bradley.

Steve Garvey, former Dodger, Mouseketeer, womanizer and all-around loser is running for the U.S. Senate in California along with a gaggle of others. He has about as much chance to win as the Angels have of winning the 2024 World Series, which is nada, zip, zilch and zero.

However, because of California's top two vote-getter, no party approach, it means he as the Republican candidate would be facing little Adam Schiff or monster mouth Katie Porter in November. Schiff is no shoo-in by any means if he and Porter are the last two dregs left standing. Porter is somewhat more dangerous as an opponent than Garvey could ever be. Which means the BIG DEMOCRAT PARTY in the sky would have to allocate substantial funds to either one or both Schiff and Porter - not a pleasant prospect for the money-changers and vote buyers in DC.

California is a one-party state and that party is not the stupid (excuse me, Republican) party. Thus, little Adam Schiff strolls into the U.S. Senate and we will see more of his ugly mug on committees that want to bury the U.S.

Either Schiff or Porter are going to win anyway, but at least we can make it painful in the pocketbook for the Demoncrats. Two options for the primary:

Vote for one of the other Republicans running for senate: Eric Early, Denice Gary Pandol or James Bradley. Vote for Katie Porter.

Let's face it, Peeps - you can either laugh with the sinners or cry with the saints. We are not going to win this one.

TERRY M.—NORTH CAROLINA

Robin, I lived in South Carolina when Haley was governor. Her nicknames were “Tricky Nikki” and “The Sun Princess.” She caved with her squishy backbone to the SPLC, a racists democrat hate group, on removal of the Flag of Northern VA from the state capital area. She fired a personal fired of mine, a Cuban refugee, Roan Garcia-Quintana, from an advisory board because he fought against illegal immigration and the SPLC.

Roan boasts he’s Spaniard by Blood, Cuban by Birth, American by Citizenship and Southern by the Grace of God. Thank you, Terry, for sharing about your friend.

I think Trump will officially have the nomination in a few weeks and then Haley can seek a job on MSNBC.

YVONNE A.—CALIFORNIA

I was disgusted that the OCGOP invited Nicki Haley to speak. Why isn’t the OCGOP working to elect Donald Trump? He is going to be the nominee and Haley will be doing podcasts.

ARLENE G.—CALIFORNIA

I called Brookfield High School Principal Marc Balanda about the school putting tampon dispensers in the boy’s restroom and the boys destroying it. His sec'y was rather nasty. She said that she didn't know where I got my information, that there is no tampon dispenser in boy's bathroom because the boys tore it down. I asked, "So, you're saying there is no tampon dispenser in the boy's bathroom?" She said, "Not yet." I said, "So you are planning to reinstall one? That is totally disgusting, etc. Our tax money is being spent on this rather than on education, etc." She hung up on me.

These are the morons educating our children!

LAUGH, CRY OR SAY AMEN

  • BREAKING NEWS: The San Francisco 49ers received three mail-in touchdowns on Sunday night, February 11. They are now the Super Bowl Champions!
  • When I accidentally stepped on my husband’s foot, I said, “I’m sorry.” When I accidentally stepped on my dog’s paw, I said, “Oh my God, I'm so SORRY! Are you okay? I’m SO SO SORRY! I didn’t mean to hurt you. I LOVE you! You want a treat? You’re the best doggy … yes you are!”
  • Today I went to the bank and told them I identify as a millionaire and that I’d like to withdraw my money. They laughed and asked me to leave. Turns out, just because you believe something, doesn’t make it true, and you can’t force others to pretend that it is.
