Truth is the Sublime Convergence of History and Reality

For many years I was the editor of two trade association newsletters here in Ohio, and I found it disturbing, and confusing, how so many prominent company owners, and not just in Ohio, would take exception to my defense of our industry, the products we use, and the manner in which we use them, especially my defense of DDT.  

An intellectually corrupt mentality that's infected our industry's trade journal magazines as well.   One editor of a trade journal once said DDT was a dead issue.  I said DDT was the only issue!  The false ban on DDT is the foundation for all the green clabber that's followed ever since, including the total corruption of science over the fraud of global warming, 

I've often quoted Ben Franklin who said truth will very patiently wait for us.  That seems perfectly reasonable and rational to me, but not to everyone.  One past president of our state association challenged me with that unendingly irritating canard, "what's truth"?  I had a respectable answer, but it wasn't definitive enough to prevent some kind of seemingly rational response.  That's one of the many things that haunt the back of my mind unconscionably gathering, collating, and correlating bits of information to develop answers, and here it is. 

"Truth is the sublime convergence of history and reality.  Everything we're told has a historical context, and everything we're told should bear some resemblance to what we're seeing going on in reality. If what's presented to us fails in either category, it's wrong, and all that's left to do is to develop the intellectual response to explain why it's wrong."

There's no rational come back to that.  Either the history is accurate, or it's not.  Either the information is accurate, or it's not.   It's really that simple. So, what's the complication?  The unwillingness for so many to accept truth over fantasy!  And that's a bigger problem than is realized, which I intend to explore here today, and the ....... watch out now...... here it comes..... the conspiracy to prevent the truth from being told by way of lies of commission, lies of omission, gaslighting, misdirection, twisted use of language, speculation, unfounded scares, and government corruption.

This article by Col. Bill Connor appeared in the Canada Free Press, The Left’s Growing Attacks on Truth, saying:

In the Left’s assault on truth, gaslighting has continued to grow more bold, including from Biden. After Special Counsel Robert Hur’s report was published describing President Biden’s violations of proper handling of classified material, Biden decided to publicly attack Hur. More specifically, Hur’s observations of Biden’s poor memory and age-related lack of mental acuity. This was despite the inclusion of Biden’s poor memory and mental clarity as justification not to prosecute him...............

A young minority female reporter benignly broached the subject of a recent poll and said “Many American people have been watching and they have expressed concerns about your age” (A recent NBC poll showed that Biden’s age related mental/physical fitness was the top issue and the concern of 76 percent of voters. Biden angrily pointed his finger at her and yelled, “That is your judgment! That is your judgment! That is not the judgment of the press!”.......

This presser left much to criticize, but Biden’s attack against truth was the most egregious...........

What I find truly interesting is if Biden is too addled to be prosecuted, then he's too addled to be President, right?  If he isn't too addled to be President, as his administration and the media are claiming, then he's not too addled to be prosecuted, right?  

Which leaves the left having to defend both positions.  One to justify not charging him with crimes he's clearly committed, and two to claim he's justified remaining President.  Now, I think it's worth asking:  Does anyone besides me think that's .......welllll....nuts?  Of course it is, but when has cognitive dissonance ever been a restraint on leftist narratives?  

According to Milt Harris at the Canada Free Press:

.....the Biden administration has proven to be the most subversive, underhanded in history. Knowing what we know now about the injectable poison that this administration insisted on people taking should be considered treason.".....

He went on to say:

Censorship is defined as the suppression or prohibition of any parts of books, films, news, etc. that are considered obscene, politically unacceptable, or a threat to security. Still, when your mind is so slanted toward untruth, the definition of each of those terms becomes distorted. How else can you explain that the left fights to have books available that promote homosexuality, lesbianism, transgenderism, sodomy, and all types of bizarre and graphic sexual acts in children’s books—then suppresses books that have a different opinion on covid vaccines, an opinion by the way, that has been proven to be correct?..........

They would have you believe all this illegal immigration is a boon to the American economy, when it's obvious to the most casual observer it's a disaster.  Not only for the economy as a whole, but for the idiots who declared their city or state was a sanctuary jurisdiction in violation of federal law and refusing to aid the federal government to enforce the law. Now they're whining, and guess who the left is blaming?  Republicans!  Those who stood against all this illegal immigration from the start.  Cognitive dissonance?  Or perhaps we should call it what it is. Lies, deliberate lies from a corrupt media, a corrupt party, and a corrupt administration.

The Crucible Frank Santarpia When they disembarked from their ships at Ellis Island, into a melting pot they went, and where a dozen nationalities went in, Americans came out.  What is happening to that crucible today? ................If the immigrants of the Woodrow Wilson era did not work, they did not eat. Compare this with New York City Mayor Eric Adams’s announcement that illegals would be supplied with reloadable, prepaid credit cards for use in bodegas and supermarkets. 

 

It makes me shake my head, thinking about my grandparents consuming so many meatless meals not out of any dietary constraint, or an unrestrainable love of pasta, but because they simply couldn’t afford the meat. There was no government supply of housing, childcare, food, clothing, and cash. They were forced to suffer and struggle to earn those things for themselves and their offspring—and still would rather be nowhere else but in these United States, because here they were free............

 

I realized how afraid I was of the damage that can still be done by those who are running, and bent on ruining, this country from the White House.

The government plays loose with economic reality making losses appear as deferred assets. The media promotes every destructive cultural narrative that destroys the foundation for a stable society, the nuclear family.  They can't define the difference between a man and a woman between a man and a woman even in sexual assaults, when even a dimwit could define them.

John Stossel published this piece, Skewed News, reporting on just how corrupt the media is when dealing with Democrats versus Republicans, or the real contrast between leftist narratives versus conservative narratives.  Between atheists and Christians.   The left is destroying any sense of homogeneity in America, creating deliberately divisive systems that will destroy America, and make no mistake, that's their goal.

 

On CNN, a "reporter" interviewing Vice President Kamala Harris gushes, "I'm struck, just in your presence! Looking you in the eye, with your passion ... "Really?Even Harris looked embarrassed.My new video shows how the mainstream media treat conservatives and libertarians differently.We shouldn't be surprised.Reporters overwhelmingly lean Democrat. A survey by The American Journalist found that for every Republican in a newsroom, there are 10 Democrats.The reporters claim to be objective.They aren't...............

 

He went on to say:

 

Recently, the media got very upset about rule of law. Outraged anchors said, "Texas refuses to give in to federal law." This was because Texas politicians won't remove a fence that the feds told them to remove.An outraged NBC asked, "Why isn't the Biden administration suing Texas?"That's actually a reasonable question. Rule of law deserves discussion.But when it comes to sanctuary cities, the media show no such outrage.These places merely "choose not to follow federal immigration laws," says an ABC anchor. They don't "refuse," like Texas does..........

 

Well, it isn't just Stossel who see these misfits for who they are. The UFC Champ Sean Strickland Told a Reporter in a massively vulgar but totally accurate tirade, he was an 'infection'. 

Now that's the sublime convergence of history and reality, aka, Truth!
