A Nation That Doesn't Control its Borders, Isn't a Nation

Today, February 9, 2024 D. Parker published this piece,  At what point do we say we’ve lost our country?, saying:

Imagine for a moment what the past few years would have been like if the nation’s socialist “Democratic” party and its media propaganda arm had absolutely no limitations on their power.  What would it be like if we just had one-party rule and the GOP was only an afterthought? 

Well, given the disaster at the border, and the resulting destruction of America's major cities, along with Mayorkas impeachment fiasco we now know...for sure.....Congress is filled with treasonous and/or stupid politicians, as a result, that may be a soon to be seen reality.   

One person commented saying:

Trying to deport every illegal is no different than attempting to remove the poisonous mRNA once its been injected.

I thought that was a very apt observation.  By flooding the nation with illegals, which has clearly been the intention of the left, they hoped to make fixing this a Sisyphean task.  However, I do believe this can be fixed much faster if we do nine things.

1. End all welfare, or any other kind of government of benefit for anyone who can't prove citizenship, or legal status, and penalize any jurisdiction that ignores that mandate as an act of sedition.  That will be a good start to fixing this. 
2. Make hiring illegals a "serious" crime with severe monetary penalties and prison time.
3. End all immigration, legal or otherwise, until this is fixed, passing a bill that expedites extradition forbidding review by the courts, which Congress has the Constitutional right to do, as it's the Congress that determines the jurisdiction of the federal courts, not SCOTUS.
   
4. Make it illegal for any jurisdiction to claim sanctuary status placing serious penalties on any jurisdiction that chooses to ignore that order, and even throwing a few politicians in jail. 
5. Make it a criminal act of sedition for anyone who works to promote illegal immigration, in any way.  Since they're committing a crime, anyone helping them is an accessory after the fact, and should be sent to jail.  The attorneys will find a lot of clients there.
6. Pass legislation making it a criminal act to create and provide any kind of documentation to illegal aliens, such as driver's licenses, with provisions for criminal penalties for any state body that ignores that mandate, forbidding review by the courts. 
   
7. Ending all federal funding of every kind, including grant money to all institutions of that state, including all funding and student loans for academia, and future contracted government work to corporations within the state, including manufacturing, that declares it's a sanctuary state or has any city in it that declares it's a sanctuary city.
8. End all federal funding to any jurisdiction that refuses to aid and support efforts to find and deport illegal aliens, with serious penalties to any city that ignores that mandate.
9. Create a “quota system” to track results in each state to assure compliance, and any state that doesn’t meet that quota, end all federal funding. 

Personally, I hate most of those solutions as it smacks of big government tyranny, but when the world has gone insane, sanity won’t fix it.  Try explaining to a liberal why everything they promote has been a failure all through history and see what happens.  Sane arguments will not work against insane minds.
