In the year 2000, Bernard Lewis in his book What Went Wrong, wrote this about Muslims:  “If they can abandon grievances and victimhood, settle their differences, and join their talents, energies and resources in a common endeavor, then they can once again make the Middle East, in modern times as it was in antiquity and in the Middle Ages, a major center of civilization. For the time being the choice is their own.”

Recently, Fawaz Gerges, professor at the London School of Economics, and Middle East specialist, wrote optimistically of the future of Islam in his book ISIS : A HistoryIf Islam goes through an intellectual reformation and mosque and state are separated, then ISIS will no longer be a problem.

Peace in our time in Islam does not mean the same thing as it does to us in the West....... To Read More....
