When it comes to my presidential vote, there’s no way it’s going to these lesser/greater evils. Vote for the loser—he’ll never let you down. In an election season when we’ve already spent what seems like years debating what public restrooms straight, gay, and trans people should be allowed to use, I rise to ask a related question: Where can I, an unaffiliated small “L” libertarian voter, go to flush the whole 2016 race down the toilet?.....
My Take - So the author doesn't like the idea parties stand for something? Did I understand this correctly. Okay, if that's so then what I would ask this author is this: What exactly should a political party be doing? So, if the author doesn't want parties to stand for anything the next logical question should be - why are they necessary? If parties aren't necessary why do we have them? Finally, does the author really think people can or will organize without creating defining organizations. It didn't happen at the beginning of American history because that's just not the way the human mind works. Get over it!
Can #Nevertrump mean that some Republicans of free-market/small-government principles will consider the Libertarian Party (L.P.), especially now that it is as sure as can be that Trump is the GOP nominee? The L.P. has, in the months since Trump started dominating the GOP race, seen some progress, though it is progress from a place where percentages seem much more impressive than raw numbers. The Party had been averaging for most of last year 114 new donors a month, but this year as Trump became more prominent, they pulled 546 new ones in March and then 706 in April.
The L.P.'s total current active donor number rose 4.32 percent over the past year, though still amounting to only 13,028.......
