My Take - I find this interesting because Isreal doesn't even demand loyalty from the Jews living in Israel.  There really is a "vast left wing conspiracy" among the Jews living in Israel to destroy Israel.  Crazy!  But it's true.  It's hard to understand what motivates leftists until you realize the two overwhelming emotions driving the left are envy fueled with hate. 

Envy and Htate for the rich, for the happy, for the healthy, and for every one of the traditional values that have stood the test of time.  I'm not sure how many political parties exist in Israel now, but at one time there were 12.  There's a reason Israel has all those political parties.  There is no unity of thought among the Jews of Israel.  It must be a nightmare running a country where no matter what you do there will be a substantial part of the population condemning you and their media's leftists make ours look conservative.
