Below
are articles dealing with abortion -
which I would think the Pope
would find near and dear to his heart - but as far as I can tell he’s not
addressed abortion. He’s made nice with
the last socialist mass murderer left in the world - Fidel Castro - and never
said a word about the incredible lack of justice in Cuba’s legal system, yet he
visits a prison in America to highlight they’re overcrowded because these “poor”
prisoners can’t afford bail. No mention
is made of whether or not these prisoners deserve to be there or not.
He makes all warm and nice with a President
that has in effect insulted him, his church and Christian doctrine by deliberately
inviting a “rogue’s gallery of people opposed to
Catholic teachin.” “In
a stunning show of political indecorum, Obama has
invited a series of individuals who publicly flout Catholic teaching, including
a pro-abortion religious sister, a transgender woman and the first openly gay
Episcopal bishop, along with at least two Catholic gay activists. “ And as far
as I can tell – he’s said nothing!
As far as I can tell he’s not mentioned – at
least publically – anything about the persecution and murder of Christians in
Muslim controlled lands, which amounts to genocide - genocide prescribed in the
Koran.
So I have to wonder why the Pope’s here at
all! I have to wonder what’s wrong with
this man’s mind! I also seriously wonder about his sanity! No wonder I keep hearing Catholics ask – Who picked
this guy?
Pope Sings the
Praises of Obama’s Global Warming Agenda - Pope Francis was quick to praise President
Barack Obama’s plan to fight global warming during a Wednesday morning speech
at the White House. Francis extolled Obama for “reducing air pollution” and
taking the fight against global warming seriously.“It seems clear to me also
that climate change is a problem that can no longer be left to a future
generation,” Francis told those gathered at the White House. “When it comes to
the care of our common home, we are living at a critical moment in history.”

Pro-Life Activist Shares Heartbreaking Story of Love
and Loss - Abby Johnson is a former Planned Parenthood
executive who left the abortion industry after watching a baby in the womb struggle to survive during an abortion.
Earlier this week she told a heartbreaking story of love and loss on Facebook
and we thought we’d share it with you.
Senator Mike Lee Goes to Battle Against Planned
Parenthood - Senator Mike Lee (R-UT) has become one of
the GOP’s most important voices on policy and philosophy, which should be of
great concern to liberal members of Congress and Planned Parenthood. Over the
last few weeks, Senator Lee has begun his own personal crusade to unmask the
crimes and immorality of Planned Parenthood, and now he needs your help. “In coming weeks I plan to deliver a series of speeches
that might help my colleagues and anyone else who might be listening come a
little closer to the truth about Planned Parenthood.”
Senate Republican Leaders Introduce Government
Spending Bill Withholding Planned Parenthood Funding for One Year - Senate Republican leaders unveiled a
continuing resolution Tuesday that would fund the government for just under
three months and prohibit Planned Parenthood from receiving federal funding for
one year.
Conservatives
Have Unlikely Ally in Arguing Reconciliation Cannot Be Used to Defund Planned
Parenthood - A scholar at
the Brookings Institution, a left-of-center think tank, is joining
conservatives in questioning whether reconciliation can be used to defund
Planned Parenthood.
Barack Obama Lies to
the Pope’s Face- I’m
writing a book on this right now and it is very clear that Barack Obama flat
out lied in the Pope’s face today. Listen
to a part of what Barack Obama said to Pope Francis about religious liberty.
In fact, the President and his
administration have been deeply, deeply hostile to Christians in the United
States. Remember, just a few years
ago, the Obama Administration took a position to the left of the American Civil
Liberties Union arguing that there was no ministerial exception in the First
Amendment. The case involved a Lutheran denomination that sought to define the
role of its ministers. The President’s team argued that there is a freedom of
worship, which was actually not nearly as expansive as a freedom of religion.
The Supreme Court in a 9 to 0 decision disagreed….
The Democrat’s Jackolope - With the left’s favorite Pope in town, the
media has been giddy pointing out that Francis puts Republicans in awkward
positions on global warming, the environment, capitalism, etc. Meanwhile, the
Catholic Church has started leasing lands it owns in Texas for oil drilling.
What the media is ignoring, of course, is that Francis and the...
The Climate of Climate
Change - Climate change has been a subject that has bounced back
and forth with both sides bringing out facts and figures to substantiate the
claims they make. One side puts forth apocalyptic scenarios, and the other side
claims there is no merit to those claims. Politics and money play a large part
in the battle. Grants are given to both sides and the common man is deluged
with the findings that those grants were meant to find. So let’s take a look at
the information available from both sides and try to see what the ultimate
truth is.... Still the religion of climate change is being pushed upon the
American people. There are various reasons for this. One is the effective use
of climate change as a mean to redistribute wealth.
Keystone pipeline is a
"distraction" from climate action, Clinton says - Hillary Rodham Clinton said on Tuesday
that she opposed building the Keystone XL oil pipeline, revealing her position
on an issue that divides two Democratic constituencies, organized labor and
environmentalists, and that she has long declined to address……. There are “a
lot more jobs from my perspective on a North American clean energy agenda than
you would ever get from one pipeline crossing the border,” she said…
My Take – Here’s another corrupt loon at the
center of the information world. She has
to know Spain committed themselves to the “green” energy fantasy and the
creation of “green jobs”. and for every green job they created they lost 2.2
jobs. Needless to say they abandoned
that insanity. If “green” initiatives
and policies fail everywhere else in the world, why would we believe it would be
successful here? We need to get this - to
be green is to be irrational, misanthropic and morally defective, none of which
is new to Hillary Clinton, her husband, or the entire community of the left.
The Hillary Factor -
Trust is Irrelevant to Some - Last week I had occasion to speak
with a colleague about the current political campaign circus. The colleague in
question is a lawyer and a seemingly intelligent person. But for some reason
she is an ardent supporter of Hillary Clinton. This support seems insupportable
in light of the...
Dozens of Mergers Among Hospitals and Medical Practices is the Side Effect of Obamacare
- Five years after the Affordable Care Act helped set off a health-care merger
frenzy, the pace of consolidation is accelerating, transforming the medical
marketplace into a land of giants. The
trend is under a new spotlight now, as Congress zeroes in on the competitive
and cost impact of proposed deals that would collapse the health-insurance
industry’s top five players into just three massive companies, each with more
than $100 billion in annual revenue. ... The supersizing, which hasn’t been
slowed so far by signals of regulatory concern about health-care consolidation,
reflects efforts by companies in both industries to gain the scale and heft to
succeed amid changes unleashed or accelerated by the health law. Those include
growing pressures to constrain costs, and new forms of payment that require
providers to meet efficiency and care-quality goals. Health systems are adding
hospitals, doctor practices and a range of other services that enable them to
manage all of a patient’s care. And each industry is bulking up to amass
leverage in contract negotiations against the other.
Workers Increasingly Burdened by Rising Health
Care Costs -
American workers saw their out-of-pocket medical costs jump again this year, as
the average deductible for an employer-provided health plan surged nearly 9% in
2015 to more than $1,000, a major new survey of employers shows. The annual
increase, though lower than in previous years, far outpaced wage growth and
overall inflation and marked the continuation of a trend that in just a few
years has dramatically shifted healthcare costs to workers. Over the past
decade, the average deductible that workers must pay for medical care before
their insurance kicks in has more than tripled from $303 in 2006 to $1,077
today, according to the report from the nonprofit Kaiser Family Foundation and
the Health Research & Educational Trust. That is seven times faster than
wages have risen in the same period.
U.S. Paid Healthcare.govcontractor Four Million to Fix its own Mess - The U.S. government paid the main
healthcare.gov contractor $4 million to correct defects of the botched site and
withheld only $267,420 of what it owed the company, according to a new federal
audit. The report on the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and
its contract with CGI Federal is to be published today by the Health and Human
Services Office of Inspector General. It is the latest in a series of audits
critical of federal oversight of the private companies that built the insurance
marketplace at the heart of Obamacare.
California Ballot Initiative Would Increase
Income Taxes to Pay For Health Care Programs - On Monday, a coalition of health and youth advocacy groups proposed a ballot
initiative to expand and make permanent income tax increases on California’s
highest earners to help fund several health care and education programs, the Sacramento
Bee’s Capitol Alert
reports. ... The proposed ballot initiative seeks to extend increased income
taxes under Proposition 30, which were set to expire at the end of 2018.
However, the measure would allow Prop. 30’s sales tax increase to expire in
2016, as scheduled. Like Prop. 30, the
proposed ballot measure would: Increase taxes for couples earning at least
$580,000 annually; and Impose higher tax rates for super-earner couples that
earn more than $2 million per year. According to Capitol Alert, the plan would generate an estimated $10
billion in revenue annually, with: 50% of the generated funds going to K-14
education; and 40% of the generated funds being used to increase provider
reimbursements under Medi-Cal, California….
No, America Was Not Founded on Racist Principles
- Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., told an
audience at Liberty University that the United States was founded "on
racist principles." He's wrong.
My Take – Now here’s the biggest loon of
them all. The difference between Bernie,
Hillary and the rest of the left field is he actually believes the clabber he
spews out. At least he’s an honest loon!
US Must Leverage Aid to Stop Child Sexual Abuse Among
Afghan Security Officials - From both a moral and
legal standpoint, the U.S. must ensure that its assistance is not going to
individuals or groups involved in committing human rights abuses, especially
against minors.
Feds Push $5.3 Billion In Regulatory Costs With Just 3
New Regulations - The Obama administration were busy last week
pushing regulations that will cost the American businesses and consumers more
than $5.3 billion and 7.7 million hours in paperwork burdens, according to a
report. A report by the
right-leaning American Action Forum found that last week “regulators managed to
add another $5.3 billion in burdens” and “imposed 7.7 million paperwork burden
hours.” While last week’s regulatory burden was lower than the preceding week’s
$14 billion price tag,
it shows how the cost of new rules are quickly adding up.
Actor from Hercules TV Show
Rips Obama for Taking in Muslim "Refugees" - Kevin
Sorbo made a name for himself playing the legendary hero, Hercules, on
Television. Now, he’s playing another heroic role in attempting to protect our
nation by calling out the Obama administration’s reckless decision to accept
10,000 Muslim refugees in the very near future. On his Facebook
page this past week, Sorbo declared that Obama’s decision to accept these
refugees without first vetting them was reckless, especially when the other
Muslim Gulf States had yet to accept even one refugee.
The Media, GOP and Democrat
Establishment Should Stop Complaining about Trump because They Created Him - The
National Journal’s Ron Fournier made an interesting appearance on Fox News’ Media Buzz with media ombudsmen Howard Kurtz. During
the interview Fournier argued that it was ridiculous for the media and the
establishment of both parties to criticize and complain about Donald Trump
because they are the reason for his existence as a political force. Ron
Fournier:
The establishment made Donald Trump. The establishment in the Republican party,
the establishment in even the Democratic party, and certainly the media
establishment. We have all let down voters. Voters are upset with the political
and media elite. They’ve created this huge vacuum for somebody to step in and
satiate people’s hunger. So, it kind of starts with a let down on our part, but
then it gets more complicated after that.
