Jailed for scientific dissent?! Twenty climate scientists, including Top UN scientist, call for RICO investigation of climate skeptics in letter to Obama, Warmist scientists including UN IPCC Lead Author Kevin Trenberth to Obama:

'We appreciate that you are making aggressive and imaginative use of the limited tools available to you in the face of a recalcitrant Congress. One additional tool – recently proposed by Senator Sheldon Whitehouse – is a RICO (Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act) investigation of corporations and other organizations that have knowingly deceived the American people about the risks of climate change, as a means to forestall America’s response to climate change. We strongly endorse Senator Whitehouse’s call for a RICO investigation.'

Via Politico: 'Twenty climate scientists called for RICO investigation in a letter to Obama and U.S. Attorney General Loretta Lynch. The scientists argue that the systemic efforts to prevent the public from understanding climate change resembles the investigation undertaken against tobacco. They draw inspiration from Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse who said on the Senate floor that there might be a similar conspiracy here, and a civil trial could provide the tools of discovery needed to find out.'……To Read More…..

My Take - I find this so amazing I almost burst out laughing as I read this. These are the same people who raged when Mann was ordered to turn over his data that explained how he arrived at the now famous - well, actually infamous - Hockey Stick Graph to a Congressional committee. These are the same people who raged when Virginia Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli initiated a fraud case against Mann calling it a threat to academic freedom and the Democrats calling it a Witch Hunt. These are the same people who supported Mann in his SLAPP suit against Dr. Tim Ball, which he lost because he refused to turn over information he still keeps secret that Mann terms "his dirty laundry". These are the same people who were outraged when the East Anglia e-mails were exposed showing what can only be called a conspiracy to hide information that disproved manmade climate change.

Well, I agree with them - provided this RICO investigation includes ALL parties involved in the entire Climate controversy by having two independent special prosecutors appointed outside the jurisdiction of the Department of Justice. One would investigate those who support Anthropogenic Climate Change and one would investigate those who are referred to as "deniers" and then see where the fraud begins and ends. And those who are found guilty of fraud shall be accountable civilly and criminally, and I include those who work for the government at NASA and NOAA who are responsiblefor fabricating computer models. 

 

Let's see how fast these guys jump off that bandwagon!
