Obamacare took $700 billion from Medicare and $300 billion from Medicare Advantage alone for its own funding , according to the subcommittee. The cuts to Medicare Advantage beneficiaries will “begin to be fully realized in the next year,” according to the subcommittee.  “There was a promise made to seniors as well. The promise was that we’re going to use your Medicare dollars as a piggy bank to fund the Affordable Care Act, and in doing that we’ll improve Medicare and allow seniors to keep their doctors if they liked. ObamaCare regs rushed, conservative study finds - By Ben Goad
ObamaCare’s rocky rollout is rooted in dozens of regulations that were hastily moved through the White House’s review process, according to a conservative group that tracks the federal rule-making system.  A study issued Thursday by the American Action Forum finds that 27 of more than 100 regulations drafted under the Affordable Care Act (ACA) were fast-tracked with no review by the White House Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs (OIRA).   The obscure but influential office is meant to serve as the gatekeeper for important rules. But seven of ObamaCare’s “major rules,” those with an annual price tag eclipsing $100 million, were not reviewed by OIRA, according to the study.   Those include regulations that would cap profit margins for certain insurance plans and govern prescription drug benefit programs. ….  Continue reading......
