Cartoon Roundup: Schumer's Shutdown

By Rich Kozlovich

This government shutdown really isn't going well for little Chuckie. In times past the media carried the water for the Democrats and managed to make Republicans look like fools.   But that "Propaganda Industrial Complex" is circling the drain, and will soon be out of business, or be taken over by people who really believe it's their job to report the news, and not be propagandists for the Democrat party, or for any party for that matter.   Even when a leftist that's not Woke enough to satisfy the far left, which pretty much dominates leftist news organizations, outrages these so-called journalists, as Bari Weiss is being picked to lead CBS News. But that won't save CBS news.  But I subscribed to her news site for as long as I could stand it, and she's still a leftist, and leftists can't stop being leftists.

The ascendant media, which a few short years ago was mocked and laughed at by the Pravda media, is exposing just how vile they all are, and the public is taking notice, and their shift on issues is becoming obvious.

This is Schumer's demise.  His term is up in the Senate and I think he will lose the party's nomination to AOC in the midterms since the Democrat party is now dominated by far left activists who are demanding their "leaders" fight to the death for their insane policies.

While AOC's district doesn't seem to mind she's a nitwit, the state of New York may not be so enamored with her.  But you can't beat someone with no one, so it behooves the Republicans to nominate a quality candidate, and if they do, I think she'll lose.   However, never underestimate Republican ability to make a mess of things.  There's a reason they're called the stupid party.
