The Germans have a word for everything, and they're usually big words! Take schadenfreude for instance. It means taking pleasure in another's discomfort or misery, and is used a lot these days when leftists get hoisted on their own petard. All you have to do is say: Schadenfreude, and all is understood.
Now, gleichschaltung is a real winner. That's a German word created from two words meaning "same" and "circuit" dealing with electronics. The Nazis knew a good word when they saw one, and used it to define their system of totalitarianism, calling it "coordination".
A system of totalitarian control and coordination over all aspects of German society and societies occupied by Nazi Germany "from the economy and trade associations to the media, culture and education"
Everyone would see things just alike, and act accordingly. We're seeing that being played out right now in America, and especially in American academia. Leftists have "coordinated" their response to just about everything, especially the blatant antisemitism playing out on America's campuses.
I have stated in the past, and I will state it again, education in America has become a snare and a racket, and is a cesspool of hate and intellectual corruption. Constantly promoting the destruction of the American identity, and the American character, undermining all the foundational Judaic/Christian values that made American society stable to destroy the Constitution.
If you have any doubts about that, just take a look at this video of House Republican Conference Chair Elise Stefanik questioning the Presidents of MIT, Harvard, and the University of Pennsylvania, on the outrageous antisemitic actions taking place on their campuses.
After viewing that video one has to wonder if these people have a moral compass that has any idea which way is north. These are people who supposedly have a high degree of intelligence, which is now in question, along with their moral clarity. These misfits are nothing more than delusional frauds and DEI hires spouting vacuous intellectually dishonest clap trap.
Has leftism finally jumped the shark?October 28, 2023The pro-Hamas rallies across
America—especially on college campuses—have exposed the rot that has
long been lurking at the heart of America.
And these are the best and brightest academia has to offer? They all need to be fired or resign, will that happen? No, not unless the entire system is upended, and that starts with ending all funding to American higher education. Higher education has been a threat to America for decades, and many of us have seen it, written about it, and have been ignored. Now it's in the open and even the most casual observer can see them for who and what they are.
One commenter noted on an article saying:
Historical note: In 1993 and Israeli student at Penn shouted from his
dorm window at some black women making a lot of noise on the ground
below. He shouted something like "shut up water buffaloes" I think the
water buffalo part may have been in Hebrew. The women filed a racial
harassment complaint against the kid and Penn came down on him like a
ton of bricks. Except for one professor, Alan Kors, who defended the kid
and eventually prevented the school from labeling him a racist.
Another commenter:
Did anyone honestly expect these cretins to answer honestly? I didn't
and was not surprised by their insulting demeanor. They see themselves
as the arbiters of morality, perverted as that view is. They will not
resign since the moment they returned to their "ivory towers" they
receive adulation and praise from their peers for showing those
politicians what for.
Perhaps all this should be put in "context" for free speech at MIT, Harvard, and the University of Pennsylvania?
All blacks should be put back into slavery, and rape should be decriminalized.
Then let's watch them contextualize that to determine if that's hate speech. Or even better yet, see what they do if the KKK came onto the campus and started verbally attacking blacks, shouting racial slurs, carrying racist signs, and chasing blacks into buildings to be protected. Contextualize that!
The left is being hoisted on it's own petard, and that petard is gleichschaltung, a closed circuit of thinking and actions, and as you can see from the video they are all spouting the same nonsense. It's a system of control, sameness, and corruption.
Even jaded people won’t believe why MIT didn’t suspend or expel threatening pro-Hamas studentsNovember 12, 2023 - I’ll admit it: I toyed with the idea of writing about how pro-Hamas
students at MIT harassed Jewish students and barred them from entering
classrooms but ultimately decided not to. Why not? Because, sadly, in
today’s academic environment, it was a dog bites man story. In the
almost six weeks since the October 7 massacre in Israel, we’ve been
inundated by reports about wildly antisemitic activity in academia, so
one more story didn’t seem to add much to the discussion about the fetid
moral rot in America’s institutions of higher learning. However, now
that I’ve learned why MIT did not discipline those same dangerous
students, I’m sufficiently shocked to share the news with you........
Antisemitic campuses: Follow the money- November 12, 2023- It turns out that a lot of colleges have
been hiding the fact that they’ve been receiving lots of money from
countries fueled by antisemitic rage. I wasn’t shocked by the outpouring of virulent antisemitism coming from
America’s colleges and universities, but that’s because I’ve been paying
attention for forty years to what’s been going on there. A lot of
people were shocked, though, and struggled to understand how that cancer
could grow. There are three reasons: leftism, professional antisemitic
agitators and, as a study from the Network Contagion Research Institute
revealed, at least 200 American academic institutions have taken in
around $13 billion from antisemitic countries…which they then “forgot”
to report, thereby violating American law.........
WATCH: Penn President Liz Magill Tries Redo on Antisemitism: ‘I Was Not Focused’ -Joel B. Pollak - University of Pennsylvania president Liz
Magill released a video Wednesday clarifying that calling for the
genocide of Jewish people would, in fact, be harassment — after dodging
the question the day before, in her testimony on Capitol Hill. Magill and the presidents of Harvard and the Massachusetts Institute
of Technology each declined to say whether advocating for the genocide
of Jews — as implied by pro-Palestinian slogans like “from the river to
the sea,” which eliminates Israel — is permissible on campus.......
