Thursday saw a media firestorm erupt over a Washington Post report that amid a White House meeting with several members of Congress working on a compromise having to do with the Obama-era Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program, or DACA, President Trump asked why America should have to take in so many immigrants from “s—hole countries” rather than people from places like Norway.........A quote attributed to President Trump horrifies our snowflake intellectuals, but accurately reflects the sentiments of much of America......Between the two, the crude man who tells the truth and looks out for his own citizens is preferable to the genteel man who sells us out for cheap labor or ballot-box fuel for a political machine. If Trump is the former, so be it. ...............
What, Exactly, Is a “Shithole?” , By John Craig
The President nails it........Yesterday, Donald Trump evidently asked lawmakers gathered at the White House to discuss immigration policy, “Why are we having all these people from shithole countries come here?” He then suggested that we should encourage more immigration from places like Norway, whose prime minister he had met with on Wednesday. This is vintage Trump: blunt-spoken and tactless, but honest. Calling other countries “shitholes” is hardly statesmanlike. (Though, it must be said, it was the Democrats who reported that Trump used that term in what he undoubtedly thought was a private meeting.)............But, does Trump have a point?.....The Oxford dictionary defines “shithole” as: An extremely dirty, shabby, or otherwise unpleasant place. Can an entire country be characterized that way?..........Donald Trump’s not about to win any prizes for diplomacy. But by the standards of Western leaders, he’s quite commonsensical about immigration.........
Double Standard: Media Silent When Obama Called Libya A ‘S***’ Show,
Conservative Tribune It was the expletive heard round the world: President Trump’s alleged decision to call certain nations “s***hole countries” — including Haiti and Guatemala — during a bipartisan Oval Office conference on immigration reform. It didn’t take long for the liberal media to pounce……..
- I’m Don Lemon. The president of the United States is racist”……other liberal stalwarts were less subtle."
- ‘What he said was basically a form of eugenics’….read Vox’s headline on the matter.
- Lorella Praeli, the ACLU’s director of immigration policy and campaigns, was even less delicate when it came to her ad hom: “President Trump has been consistently honest about the white nationalism behind his immigration policies.”
MLK Jr.'s Niece: 'Trump Is Not a Racist Timothy Meads
Rev. Martin Luther King Jr.'s niece, a conservative, was interviewed by Fox and Friends today and defended the 45th president of the United States against accusations of racism, calling critics “outrageous.” President Donald J. Trump fell under a barrage of criticism this week, after a Democratic senator alleged that he referred to Haiti and several other nations as “sh*thole” countries during immigration reform negotiations. "Racism is just a word that is being bandied about and thrown... at the president unjustly," she said. "President Trump is not a racist."........
Trump was right...literally
When President Trump asked why the U.S. should accept immigrants from third-world nations he allegedly characterized as "s-holes," liberals (and some neo-conservatives) howled with outrage, branding the president a bigot and a racist. But...was Mr. Trump right? Perhaps far more than his opponents would like to admit. Don't take my word for it – take the word of the liberal, globalist United Nations, which celebrated its annual "World Toilet Day" and named its "Toilet Heroes" last November 19. Here are a few interesting statistics, straight from the U.N.: ......
Trump's s-hole comment long overdue...but not enough
The Great Fallacy demands that we disembowel Western civilization and instead venerate all non-white and post-colonial cultures...........Of course, President Donald Trump is right about Haiti, El Salvador, and many African countries being s-holes. Only a fool, a lifelong shut-in, or an ideologue would deny it. Trump needs to affirm what he said, and expand his remarks, without revision. No apologies for truth-telling this time. Whether intentional or serendipitously, the president has finally uttered the most monumental truth of the modern era. The globe has an abundance of hellholes, euphemistically labeled "third-world," containing unimaginable wretchedness, largely of those countries' occupants' own makings. Or, to put it otherwise, the local populations have had the means and wherewithal to fix their abject plights but were lacking in willpower or rational acuity. Most have inherited formidable opportunities but squandered them all in their infatuation with corrupt elite leaders..............
Trump's vulgarity masks an important truth about immigration
Another day, another pathetic episode of mainstream media meltdown. President Trump did the unthinkable. Once again, he dared to speak the truth: why should the United States be a dumping ground for millions of people from "s-hole" countries? And another undeniable truth? The majority of people arriving in America today are from third-world countries. Upon their arrival, most are unemployable, and they speak little to no English. Some are illiterate – they can't read, nor can they even write their own languages. In most major American cities, there are burgeoning immigrant enclaves populated by foreigners who have absolutely no intention of ever assimilating into the American culture. And while the Democrats and their leftist media enablers continue to feign outrage and indignation over Trump's spoken truism, one overarching fact remains: the U.S. immigration system is broken................
Trump is right about Haiti
Big media, still breathless after endlessly discussing and dissecting Michael Wolff's new book, have another shiny object to chase: President Trump's supposed comments on Haiti. In a meeting with lawmakers, the president was reported to say, "Why are we having all these people from [s---]-hole countries come here?" Any recordings? Any proof that he said this? No matter. The media ran with it. Outrage and angst – and a bit of glee for the media talking heads since now they can actually say one of George Carlin's seven dirty words on air and not get in trouble for it. President Trump corrected the record via Twitter, saying, "Never said anything derogatory about Haitians other than Haiti is, obviously, a very poor and troubled country. Never said 'take them out.' Made up by Dems."..........
LOL! Haiti summons USofficial for an explanation of “sh!thole country” remark. If you need an explanation, you validate the term
This is funny! We have the government of Haiti, a fourth-world pissant banana republic, demanding a meeting with US officials to explain President Trump’s “shithole country” remark, as though it requires an explanation. The fact that they need a meeting to understand the term validates it, in my opinion. C’mon, Mr. President, “shithole country?” “Asshole of the Caribbean,” maybe, but “shithole country” is going a bit too far! The left, the mainstream media, liberal weenies, butthurt immigrants everywhere, and even a few Republican practitioners of “the art of political correctness for personal gain” are indignant over President Trump’s remark that Haiti is a “shithole country.” .....
Graham rips Trump over 'sh*thole,' but called Mexico 'hellhole'Oops!
2013 comment critical of south-of-the-border neighbor surfaces (Breitbart) Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) — who says he corrected President Trump when he allegedly made a comment about African countries being a “shithole” — made a similar comment in 2013, calling Mexico and other Central American countries a “hellhole.” Graham, in 2013, said during a Senate panel discussion that Mexico and other countries the majority of illegal aliens are deriving from are a “hellhole.” The people coming across the southern border live in hellholes. They don’t like that. They want to come here. Our problem is we can’t have everybody in the world who lives in a hellhole come to America........
Sh**storm The Editors
The latest all-consuming Trump controversy is over his remarks in an Oval Office meeting that he doesn’t want people coming here from “sh**hole” countries (although he may have really said....
Half of White American Youths Believe Diversity Would Harm Them they recognize that diversity comes at the expense of whites.
RRI conducted the survey with a random sample of 2 023 young people aged between 15-24 who were part of market research company GfK’s YouthPulse panel. The survey was conducted online between July 19 and August 3, 2017 in both English and Spanish. Almost one-third of Post-Millennials, and nearly half of white young men surveyed, said efforts to increase diversity would harm whites. They say efforts to increase diversity almost always come at the expense of whites.
Some 48 percent of young white males believe diversity efforts will harm white people, while more 52 percent disagree. Only 28 percent of young white women believe such efforts harm white people...........
Tens of Thousands of Migrants in Germany Unable to Read or Write
The German Federal Office for Migration and Refugees (BAMF) has released new figures showing that around 43,000 individuals engaged in integration courses are unable to read or write at all.
The 43,000 migrants were placed into special courses meant to help them learn how to both read and write but many have been totally unable to learn how to speak German in the language component of the courses, Westdeutsche Allgemeine Zeitung reports. Less than a fifth, or 17 per cent, of the migrants, engaged in the programme were able to speak German at an intermediate level which is required for basic labour jobs. Of the various nationalities, BAMF reports that Iraqis and Eritrean migrants performed the worst in the language schools.............
Japan to Curb Asylum Seekers’ Right to Work
Japan will limit asylum seekers’ right to work from Monday, making changes to its refugee system that are likely to swell the numbers of those in detention centers, the justice ministry said, prompting refugee groups to flag humanitarian concerns. The move to tighten one of the developed world’s toughest refugee systems, which accepted just ten during the period from January to September last year, is a bid to clamp down on what Japan views as a system of back-door immigration. From Monday, the right to work is to be limited only to those Japan regards as bonafide refugees, while repeat applicants and those failing initial checks will be held in detention centers after their permission to stay in Japan expires, the justice ministry said...........
Sweden: Not Everyone Can Say #MeToo
Interest and involvement in the “#MeToo Movement” has been strong in Sweden. Internet searches for the phrase “me too” show that Swedes made almost three times as many as the Dutch population, in second place for the number of searches for “me too”. What the #MeToo Movement reminds us of in Sweden is how the issue of sexual harassment has become very politicized. While many Swedes are eager to expose celebrities who have sexually assaulted or sexually harassed women, Sweden is still a country where sexual assaults and rapes by newly arrived and illegal migrants is denied and concealed in the most vicious ways by parts of the official establishment. {snip} That Swedish media conceal sexual assaults by migrants is not exactly a secret; it has happened quite a few times. I have written about leading Swedish newspapers that have refused to report on sexual assaults by migrants until alternative media outlets have forced those papers to write about them............
Connecting the Democrats' dots: Immigration reform, taxes, and votes
The immigration reform bill presented to the president by "the five white guys" was deemed to be an unserious effort that drastically favored liberals. At the same time (coincidentally), the media went nuts over the president allegedly saying, "Why do we have to take immigrants from these [s‑‑‑]-hole countries?" The media overreaction to the alleged comment reached the level of derangement. CNN, MSNBC, and others lost their minds – to effect. It was all for show. If we look at the merits of immigration reform, it is clear that the president and Republicans, if they fall in line, have the winning hand. The American people may be inclined to show mercy to children brought here outside their own will. If they're in school or have joined the service or otherwise are not a drain on the economy, they can be given consideration regarding citizenship, but the premise that their extended family, to include those who did break the law by entering this country, is ludicrous................
