Clothing Company Founder Finds Out it's Not a Great Idea to Call His Fox Viewing Customers 'Idiots'

SCOTTeVEST CEO Scott Jordan said his company advertises on Fox News because their viewers are “extremely gullible” and “f**cking idiots.” One is left to wonder just how shoddy Jordan’s product is (a vest with enough inside pockets to carry a phone, tablet, water bottle, etc.) if he counts on “extremely gullible … f**king idiots” to purchase it. Anyway, sounding like a true elitist, Jordan made the comments on Facebook within the context of meeting people on a “ski lift.”

“I love meeting new people that recognize me and my company from all of our television commercials. I am on a ski lift and the following exchange just happened and happens often,” he wrote.

Jordan explained that his part of this exchange to ask what network they saw him on. “Invariably,” he says, people answer with “FOXNews.”

At this point, Jordan explains, “I laugh to myself, and tell them that we primarily advertise on Fox because we find their viewership to be extremely gullible and much easier to sell than other networks.” He adds, “The look on their face at that time is priceless. I am not kidding you. I get to tell them they are fucking idiots while getting rich off them.”.....To Read More....

My Take - So, let me see if I've gotten this right?

He said he thinks Fox viewers are easier to sell to than those on other networks calling them "gullible idiots". Of course the first question we should be asking is: What exactly are they being so gullible about? That comment implies to me he thinks his product is such crap he can only sell it to idiots who believe the lies he promotes about his products in his advertising.

Do I understand that correctly?

But, oh goodie! They apologized! He personally apologized! Wow! Thanks! That makes it all better! And so now we're all expected to believe he doesn't reeeeeaaaaalllllllly believe his Fox News watching customers are actually "gullible idiots"? We're also now expected to believe that his product isn't crap, and he's not lying in his advertising?

Do I understand that correctly?

No matter what they're saying now - that's exactly how he feels - and I'm willing to bet that's how his myrmidons and lackeys feel - but unlike him, they're not stupid, arrogant, smarmy snots - at least publically.

And even if his flunkies don't feel that way - he's still the CEO, and he's still getting rich off all these "gullible idiots" and so what these "gullible idiots" need to do is personally boycott his business and then organize a boycott of all their fellow "gullible idiots" and take their money elsewhere.

I wonder what he'll call them if he goes broke? Do you think he'll rescind his apology? Does it matter since it's all horsepucky anyway and no one with half a brain believes these apologies.

As for these gullible idiots - from the comments these stupid gullible idiots get it.
