The general feeling in Washington D.C. is that Robert Mueller is moving toward a grand finale in his Russian election-meddling probe, and this finality has some lawmakers scrambling to tip the scales. For months and months this bogus investigation has dragged on, with the American people growing ever more tired of it everyday.
Mueller has gone off the rails, according to those close to the probe, venturing deep into civilian Donald Trump financial records in order to build his cockamamy case. The entire fiasco has become such a crude joke in Washington that legislators are now actively looking for avenues to dismiss Mueller and his goons, before the entire nation is embarrassed by him.
