Speaking on Fox News Wednesday, Senate Homeland Security Committee Chairman Ron Johnson, R-Wisc., said that multiple top-level FBI officials held secret off-site meetings, a new development that raises further questions regarding corruption and political bias at the FBI. Following the Justice Department’s admission to lawmakers Friday that five months of text messages between FBI official Peter Strzok and lawyer Lisa Page are missing, Johnson said Congress will investigate the FBI. “There were a number of high-level FBI officials that were holding secret meetings off-site,” Johnson said.
