Californication: The Moral and Political Collapse of California
As a conservative, I firmly believe in states rights. I believe the federal government overstepped its authority under the constitution long ago. I do NOT believe that what is good for California is necessarily good for Kansas. I do NOT believe that what is good for Georgia is necessarily good for New Mexico. Allow me to over-simplify for a moment to make a point. The framers recognized this by convincing thirteen diverse and independent republics that they could coexist within a cohesive, but strictly limited federation, thereby creating an alliance with a single national identity.
