Hundreds of thousands march against austerity in Portugal

02 March 2013

People take part in a demonstration in downtown Lisbon on March 2, 2013.  Hundreds of thousands of people took to the streets of Lisbon and other Portuguese cities Saturday to protest against the government's austerity measures aimed at rescuing the debt-hit eurozone nation.  The rallies were organised by a non-political movement which claimed 500,000 marched in the country's capital and another 400,000 in the main northern city of Porto. There have been no official estimates of the crowds.  But the mood of the crowd was clearly political, calling for new elections with banners declaring "Portugal to the polls!" and "If you fall asleep in a democracy, you wake up in a dictatorship"......To Read More…..

My Take - Okay - so what is it everyone actually wants?  More.....!  Great, but who's going to pay for it?  Apparently the rich!  What happens when they are out of money?  We have seen this in France, Greece and Italy....and others that I can't think of right now, but it is a clear indication that Europe is finished.  Pull out your money, pull out the support organizations, pull out the troops and wait for them to implode, since that is all that is left and there is no value of imploding with them.
Worried about them being taken over by Islam?  Forget it.  We are going to see violence in Europe that will border on the likes of the Middle Ages.  It's enough to make you sick.  The countries that were very foundation for western culture are on the verge of collapsing and there is no fixing it.   By embracing secularism and the socialist mentality of the French Revolution they abandoned the foundation for western culture, Christianity.  As a result there is no moral and intellectual foundation their societies can hold on to.  When that happens there can only be one binding force; economic stability!  They’re doomed!  And America is attempting to become one with them.  We’ve lost our minds.
