Five Facts About Race

By Mychal Massie on March 10, 2015 @ his site The Daily Rant

Once again the spectre of race has reared it ugly head displaying five undeniable truths: 1) blacks love to be victims; 2) whites, regardless of their intentions or motivations, will always be accused of harboring deep-seated prejudice toward blacks; 3) only blacks, Hispanics, homosexuals, and/or Muslims are permitted to be proud of what they are; 4) whites do not enjoy freedom of speech unless it is politically correct and liberal; and 5) numbers 1 through 4 are always true.

Flemington, New Jersey, deli owner, Jim Boggess had the audacity to place a sign in the window of his deli that read: “Celebrate your white history heritage in March, white history month.” The reaction to Mr. Boggess’s sign would lead you to believe he advocated mandatory sterilization of blacks.

Mr. Boggess made it clear that he was in no way exhibiting racial prejudice against anyone. He said: “No matter what you are—Muslim, Jewish, black, white, [homosexual], straight—you should be proud of what you are. I shouldn’t have to feel bad about being white.” He couldn’t have been more wrong.

Bhakti Curtis, who is identified as a neighbor and former deli customer, who describes himself as bi-racial, wasn’t accepting that rationale. Upon seeing the sign in the deli window, he said the sign was mocking “black history month.” Curtis, also, apparently not being versed pursuant to lower case letters, further argued that the way the lower case “t” was crossed in the word “white” resembled the style used by the Ku Klux Klan. Curtis said the sign was racist and that he felt harassed by it.

Because Boggess refused to remove the sign after Curtis claimed it offended him, he filed a complaint with the Flemington Police Department. A police investigation determined that the “sign was innocent of wrong doing” having not engaged in any illegal or racist behavior.

Curtis argued: “A business can’t go putting racist signs in the window because everybody has a right to go in that store. Everybody! And have a right to buy something from that man and not feel demoralized or degraded.”

Curtis later tried to bully and intimidate the police into finding the sign illegal. That action resulted in his filing a complaint with the Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office claiming he was “unfairly threatened with arrest.”

Not to be out done, the local white liberal owner of The Main Street Bagel Co. located just doors away from the deli chimed in calling the sign was “an embarrassment” to Flemington. He claimed it made Flemington look like a “town full of inbreds.”

Unbeknownst to any of the parties involved, I was finalizing arrangements to make a special visit to Flemington to hold a press conference defending the right of the deli owner to have the sign in his window. Then word was received that the deli owner had surrendered his First Amendment rights succumbing to a bigoted bully and liberal kiss-butt, suck-up, cultural-Marists.

The complaint of Curtis exemplifies the depth of inferiority cultural Marxists have inculcated into the great majority of blacks.

Blacks do not own the First Amendment nor do they have the right to determine who has access to same. If the federal government is going to demand we be divided into color groups each having their own box to check, then why are whites in America denied the same privileges all others have?

If Curtis felt bad, it is because of the low opinion he has of himself, not the opinion others have of him.

This is America. Under the Constitution and accompanying foundational documents we are all “created equal” and that equality is not based on color of skin.
This is the problem with racial assignations and the elevation of skin-color over nationality.

Governmental insistence upon color-coded boxes and mandatory racial assignations has done nothing to create a “United America.” As the situation in Flemington, New Jersey clearly shows the only thing the cultural Marxism of government has done is create a zeitgeist of ignorance and division based on skin color.

Where is the justice for all Americans when only a certain skin color is permitted to file complaint charging racial offense? Where is the justice for all Americans when the federal government determines privilege based on skin color?

The United States I grew up in was a far cry from perfect but those of good conscience fought to create a more perfect union. Today we have cultural Marxists committed to division, anarchy, and the subjugation of every American into a color/race-coded box.

By doing so government rule is secured because not all of the color/race-coded boxes will rise up in protest at once. Said being the case, as witnessed in the Flemington, New Jersey situation if the wrong color box dares to speak out it will be demagogued into submission.

The Emancipation Proclamation was signed January 1, 1863. Jim Crow died in 1964. It is time for cultural Marxism to suffer an ignominious death as well. Modernity has no place for same.
